This is really a loss because they were very good at the beginning of the first half, it's just that Manchester United's problems always look the same when they are on the wind they always find themselves unable to be consistent, especially for a defense that has many gaps.

I don't think Manchester United can win this game. A 2 goal lead should have given them dominance over the the game but they relaxed and conceded 2 in the space of about 8 minutes. I was surprised to see Manchester United go 2 goals up in 20 minutes if I'm being honest, I didn't expect that, but since they took they lead, they should be able to hold it and control the game.
This is a problem United have been facing, they don't know he to control games. They don't have midfielders that can hold the ball and control the game. Casemiro and Fenandes don't know how to hold the ball. To make things worse, they don't have fast, clinical and decisive wingers.

I've already said that Porto are very unlikely to be underestimated and they will try their best to come back and avoid defeat. Playing at times clearly made them more confident, but Manchester United should have reacted better in the second half. Ten Hag needs to evaluate his defensive weaknesses today and he needs to improve them in the second half.

So far, only Lazio and Tottenham that look performing consistently in this competition. After the wins today, I assume Lazio and Tottenham become the strongest candidate to win the UEL trophy. Lazio won with big scores, Tottenham still could win the match although they played with some second-tier players. I think this simply showed their strength, they are better than other teams.

They had such a good start, with Rashford scoring that early 7th minutes goal to put his team ahead and by half of the game, Hojlund had made it 2 goals but, it’s always way too early to get excited with Manchester United. They seem very bad at defending crosses and somehow, they kept allowing Porto to have that chance at crossing balls straight to the goalkeeper’s box. This has proven to be there major defensive error so far as both goals where headed balls and both had crosses in their build up. Samu seems to be too strong for Dalot although, Onana ought to have made a save from Samu’s goal. It was direct and he was right in position to make that save but, didn’t react quickly.
They are still in the game as I see it and could still salvage a point or even win.

I've said that before which I take as a red flag for Manchester United. But don't worry too much, United looks like they can improve it in the second half. The team was a bit chaotic in the first half and lost a lot things after Porto's comeback. The first half ended 2-2, tense.

Man United is not really safe at the moment, even though it can currently hold a draw. They can't keep playing like that, at least their defensive coordination must improve quickly, otherwise, they could concede again. Porto will likely be more aggressive and increase their attacking intensity because it is quite obvious that they are aiming for a win at home. Man United still has a chance, but I'm quite doubtful if they can retake the lead because those 2 quick reply goals seemed to have quite an impact on their mentality.

There was a massacre of referee in the first half. The penalty against Beşiktaş had nothing to do with a penalty. The referee literally gifted Frankfurt a goal. Then Frankfurt's Koch cut the ball into the goal with his hand and the referee couldn't show the red card. He didn't even give a yellow card. This is scandalous match management. It's clear that this referee was instructed. The Uefa mafia is at it again. They're doing everything to win the match for the Germans. I haven't seen such a disgraceful refereeing performance in Europe recently. I hope Beşiktaş will manage to beat the referee in the second half.
