From the beginning, I actually didn't really like what Erik Ten Hag said about his players, he seemed to be hiding and blaming the players for the negative results they got. That's a bad thing for a coach to have in my opinion, because he should be responsible for what happened on the field. Regardless of whether his players played badly or not, it's not right for a coach to say that in the media. That's an internal problem and he should say it internally. Looking for a scapegoat for what Manchester United achieved doesn't show that he is a suitable coach. Whether many agree or not, that's what I see from Erik Ten Hag.

You’re right. Many pundits and ex Manchester United players have said the same thing about the players, they wouldn’t not have made it in the Alex Ferguson Era. But I will not defend Erik Ten Hag, he was the one who chose the players, half of Manchester United’s squad are his signings so why should he complain. I can understand if you say the other managers were victims of players conspiring against the manager but for ETH, I doubt that was the case.

I think Amorim will be bringing some of his former players from Sporting in the summer. They will be lucky if he doesn’t completely overhaul the team.

You have a point mate. I am also surprised that the same players and almost the same playing style are bringing good results now. This shows that the players don't like Erik Ten Hag or they are not well motivated. We saw a Manchester United team that has improved and is hungry for goals. There have been cases where players agree to underperform to make the club sack a coach so I wouldn't doubt if this is the same strategy that the players adopted. The club refused to sack him when it was clear that his performance had dropped, rather they gave him a new contact. We might not know what went wrong in the locker until a player opens up.

So don’t tell me the playing style of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Erik Ten Hag are the same, small things make the difference. ETH was sacked for a reason, it’s for the best that United stop the Erik Ten Hag comparison and look forward to a new era with Amorim.

I agree with you, that we can't quickly conclude now with several matches that have successfully become a positive ending for Manchester United, especially since they have not been held by a real coach who has made an agreement. The transition will definitely be there and we never know what the future will be like. But at least they are currently growing a great hope when they can achieve positive results with a good game. Van Nistelrooy is only a temporary coach and maybe he will be prepared to anticipate if the new coach cannot live up to expectations. I look forward to Manchester United's performance with their new coach.

Actually Ajax only suffered some sorts of set backs they didn't completely loose all their senses of been able to perform well so their was room for improvement as it was only a tactical and strategic service back, they had their depth and firm still intact so actually I wouldn't be overly surprised at the improvement I'm seeing with them recently and their level of Europa experience is such that cannot be undermined so they still know to a great extent their ways around the league . Their consistency is gradually building up even if they haven't gotten it right already but with time I believe they will do even better.
