It looks like Ten Hag should consider benching Bruno Fernandes for a while. 2 consecutive red cards in the Premier League and Europa League, should make his morale questionable. It's obvious that he's not in good shape, and it seems like he has a hard time keeping his composure. It was clearly detrimental to his team. When they had to catch up on their goal deficit, they had to play with 10 men instead, and that obviously made them unable to play optimally. Luckily they didn't concede again and were even able to equalize.
You're right. Bruno Fernandes deserves to be benched, it is quite annoying that he gets 2 consecutive red cards. There should be a problem in his mentality, he must take a rest for a moment. I think it is the time for Eriksen to replace Bruno's position temporarily. Meanwhile Ugarte and K Mainoo can support Eriksen as other players in the midfield line. This change may bring a better impact for Man United performance than keeping Bruno Fernandes in the position. For the captain, I think Rashford can be considered as a new captain. Who knows this will improve Rashford's confidence.

Btw, "ETH OUT" has been trending on X (formerly Twitter) for the past 2-3 hours.
We can understand if many fans want him to be sacked. Ten Hag failed to improve Man United in this season. He already got too many bad results. Anyway, I heard an issue that Ferguson asked Man United board to hire Allegri as a new coach.

Interesting results in today's matches. FC Porto vs Manchester United might be the most betted match but it turned out to be a draw. I was hoping for a Porto win. Another contested match between FC Twente and Fenerbache too resulted in a draw. The surprising result were Roma being defeated by Elfsborg and Real Socieded being defeated by Anderlecht. Though it's too early to judge which teams would directly qualify for Round of 16 as the table could still rapidly changes after few matches.

“Don't judge us now in this moment, judge us at the end of the season” was the contained in the statement of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in his post match press conference tonight after his side failed to win at Porto despite going scoring the first two goals of the game. The Dutch manager still believes that he deserves more time to prove himself despite managing the team in the last two years. I think at the moment, ten Hag is clueless if what to do in other to improve the team which is why he deserves to be shown the exit door for the club to grow.

The earlier, the better for Ten Hag to be shown the exit door, and the better for Manchester United to improve on their performance. However, Ten Hag is only living on his past glory of having won 8 trophies in the last six years of his career. He now thinks that he can prove all his doubters wrong as he did last season by winning the FA Cup for Manchester United.

On that note, Ten Hag does not think that he has lost this time around at this strategy of taking Manchester United to its former glory of winning trophies due to the availability of a second chance given to him to keep heading Manchester United as a coach.

Manchester United's Premier League match against Aston Villa will be another match to question Ten Hag's stay at Manchester United. Let's see what his remarks would be on that match, whether it will be the same as today's remark on the Porto draw match or something different like accepting the fact that he needs to be sacked as a coach of Manchester United.

Ten Hag's comments are a separate type of comedy.
It is unlikely that anyone reads his statements for any purpose other than to laugh.
Meanwhile, United have won just once in their last eight European games. The fact that Ten Hag has not yet been sacked in the face of such results is some kind of inexplicable mystery.
I completely agree with you, Ten Hag statement always contains comedy in it, and for now it is hard to believe. Even many assume, Ten Hag will not make it to the end of the season, where a series of bad results make his position very threatened by dismissal, although it is still full of mystery. His decision to rotate players raises various questions, why he never learns from his mistakes. Rashford who looked quite good in the first half, was rotated in the second half by Garnacho. A decision that I think is very wrong, but Ten Hag always has a reason to deny his mistake.
The ups and downs of performance that Manchester United continues to experience, seem to make it difficult for them to realize their ambitions, The Red Devils actually have a great chance of winning the Europa League trophy this season.
In the next match, in the Europa League and Premier League, Ten Hag is certain to lose Bruno Fernandes because he got a red card, that is a big loss. It is very difficult to explain the current situation of The Red Devils, luck seems to always be reluctant to side with them. Meanwhile, fans should thank their former captain Maguire, who saved Manchester United from defeat today.

Yes, that's right, no need for judgment. Because everything already looks like that, the final result at the end of the season? Hmm, no need for judgment and high expectations anymore. If the result is bad, it's normal, if the result is good, then it's extraordinary. Don't expect much from what Ten Hag says in every interview.

Well, at least now Man United are in the top 21. The important thing is not in the bottom box. That's the hope given by Ten Hag.  Grin Grin

The first rule of happiness is to lower your expectations.

I believe Man Utd fans are learning about this the hard way. I knew they were in a bad place under Ole and needed a big break and ETH came in and they were very optimistic about his arrival. Maybe if they had kept their expectations lower, their disappointment wouldn't be much. ETH should focus on delivering consistent results and not perfect press conferences.

In performance, Porto looked better than Manchester United but Manchester United was lucky to have scored the first two goals in the game still they did not win. Honestly, Bruno Fernadez and Rashford played terribly, and I don't get to blame 10hag on this loss. When they need to get to the ball they don't run and when the ball is with them they pass the ball excessively.

Mehn the truth is 10hag is so closed to being sacked since he cant the necessarily change to help himself out and achieve a single win. for a long time now.
Rashford can’t give out his best for the team ever since I observed Rashford no longer play excellent like before, I guess Fernadez just started playing horrible also I believe more in Fernadez because he’s good, I stopped watching the match when both teams equalized. Porto is a strong team but how did the game turned against Manchester United seeing a 3-2 got me angry despite Manchester United is not my favorite team they’ve lost their quality as a team and I don’t think they can retain another big name again if care is not taken.
Someone asked a question if ten hag can receive his sack letter immediately and I laughed, this is so funny more surprising how he can’t save the team and his career.

Anything to save his job at this point. Everybody knows he has done a shitty job at Man Utd so far. Of course, he brags about the domestic trophies he has won every time he comes under fire with critics. If Man Utd was going to get better, I believe 1 season is more than enough grace. He's got two already and still asking for more. Most Man Utd fans I know and friends with are no longer patient with him and want him out.

When you consider how much time he has had and the amount of money he has spent on signings, it doesn't justify it.

Not every coach gets that favour of being given the opportunity of proving his worthiness in the club by the  club management. Some coaches falls out of favour and get sacked immediately they're not providing the expected results with the club and Daniele De Rossi just fell into that category but from what we are witnessing about the players performance under the new coach  Ivan Juric they have gotten good games in the serie A except in their Europa games, and Ivan Juric, especially would need to work on his attacking front, it's fundamental.
I agree with you strongly because if you are talking about time to prove how worthy some one can be, ten hag has gotten a whole lot of that from Manchester united and all they get in return has been loads of motivational post match press conference speeches, he's not improving at any good rate, yet he gives higher motivation and increase the expectations of the fans and the management by every passing game making it feel like he's got his game and knows exactly what he is doin. Probably because he's got a really firm root that assures him of his cordiality with the management he's always have a way to get his job secured and has got almost no fear of loosing it and so he handles his games the way he feels its okay and get just any result knowing he will still be retained even if he looses multiple games at same time.

Despite the circumstances surrounding coach De Rossi's sack, I still do not think that mediocrity or incompetence of any form should be tolerated hence if things are not going as expected by the Roma management then they reserve the right to take any decision they deem fit in order to improve the performance of the team and if terminating De Rossi's contract is one of those decisions then it should be respected by everybody involved. De Rossi in my own opinion is a good coach and did perform very well with the team before the end of last season but failed to improve things at the club this season, though a lot of people think they could have given him more time instead which I think was the right to do but the management thought otherwise and took a different decision rather.

There are coaches who give many opportunities , and in this case DeRossi was not given even half an opportunity to prove his worth , but rather he was immediately removed from what he had been doing for some time, I think this can trigger some annoyance in the players, because I think that if they were familiar with him, sometimes the owners of the clubs do not think about the psychological impact on them, in view of this it has been determined that practically things have to go in a direct sense to the things that are Beneficial for the long-term results and they will be able to benefit from things like classification, at least if they finish in the top 4 of the Series.

Club owners have come under fire for this poor performance to the point of the club changing hands and now that we have a new driver in the front seat, seems the same uncomfortable ride continues which brings the question if the problem is with the team or manager Huh
This problem that Manchester United currently faces emanates from the manager. It was a big mistake for Manchester United management to still allow the coach to still continue this season even after the poor performance from last season. He has brought most of the players he is used to from his days as manager in Ajax, but still no progress with his team. It is really a shameful thing to see Manchester United performing this very poorly even when teams like Chelsea that also performed poorly last season have picked up.

Perhaps just sack the manager already and lets see where this goes...

Even Roman Fabrizio in his latest tweet wrote about how many wins, losses and draws Manchester United received in the Europa League with Erik ten Hag.
The situation is not at all easy for Manchester United fans and for Erik ten Hag himself. Some still support Erik and want him to be maintained and stay at Old Trafford with the saying that Rome was not built in one day. For some fans, their favorite team has been slumping for more than a decade without winning a title.

If Erik's replacement as coach can make Manchester United rise, it will not be as soon as possible. That's why this is not an easy situation for everyone.
Rome wasn't built in one day that's a known fact, but with Manchester United these guys built Rome in one day and dropped it to the ground before sunset..so as fans of the club we demand answers because this is happening quite often and we cant ignore this anylonger.

Club owners have come under fire for this poor performance to the point of the club changing hands and now that we have a new driver in the front seat, seems the same uncomfortable ride continues which brings the question if the problem is with the team or manager Huh

Our representatives Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş will play tonight.

I think Galatasaray will get the easiest win, Rigas Skola is the weak team for us.

Fenerbahçe will play with Twente. I don't think Fenerbahçe played well, they may lose points tonight.

Beşiktaş will play with Eintracht Frankfurt. Beşiktaş lost by a large margin in their first Europa League match, they should be very careful in this match because Eintracht Frankfurt is a very fit team. I don't think Beşiktaş can get points. I hope they get 1 point at worst.
It was not a great performance by the Turkish teams tonight because we expected some wins especially from Galatasaray who played a team we felt they were better than. So it is so frustrating to see that no single Turkish side won tonight instead we saw two draws and one heavy loss which came from Besiktas even in their home. They all have all it takes to play the competition including the players, coach and the funding so I wonder why they could not get the much needed results. Although I played Galatasaray and Chelsea both over 2.5 goals and got my winning, despite that, I wanted them to win.

Turkish teams didn't get the results they wanted today. Galatasaray could only get 1 point against a weak opponent. Fenerbahçe also saved 1 point away to Twente. Beşiktaş, on the other hand, unfortunately lost in a game in which they dominated for 90 minutes. Masuaku's goal came too late. Beşiktaş missed too many goals. We haven't watched a match like this for a long time. Frankfurt won by defending for 90 minutes. It was a ridiculous night.

I think we are just gonna see an upset more in this new edition or format of the European league. Yesterday we had upsets in the Champions league, today we are having another upsets again. The whole table looks pretty mess for the top clubs that if they don’t take their time they will be battling for playoff places. The Turkish teams today were just awful to me and deserved the points they got.

Honestly, it is not funny anymore with the way Manchester United's performances are going currently. Manchester United's performances seem to be getting worse with each and every match played recently. In fact, what is really wrong with Manchester United? Is it the coach or the players? Because I am not understanding the whole team anymore. Sometimes it seems like it's the coach's fault when Manchester loses a match, but in some wins, you realize even the players are just doing what they feel, and that's why they are getting poor results all the time. A team like Manchester United playing in the Europa competition and still having results like two draws is a big sign that they are currently performing poorly. As Manchester United was leading by two goals at the 20th minute, I was thinking they might score more goals, not knowing that Porto would even equalize to make it 2-2 in the first half.

At this point I think Ten Hag simply knows he is in trouble already. On some occasions I will say a draw against Porto is a bit fair but in a situation as dear as this I think he needed to win. The most interesting thing is the fact that Manchester United are usually poor in defending how can a team give a two goal lead and also start trailing behind immediately, this defensive problem was exactly what Manchester United had last season so what is Erik actually fixing. I think a beating by Aston Villa this weekend could be his farewell match

Bruno should be very careful with the way he is playing because this is the second time that he has received a red card in two consecutive matches. It is sad to see that the club that took thd lead in the beginning of the match was later struggling to draw the match.
It’s surprising to me that Bruno received another red card today again, he received a red card against Tottenham. I just think he should be careful, it doesn’t make sense receiving red card in almost all matches. I don’t even know why Ten Hag keeps on using Bruno in his matches. We all can see that Bruno is not really in form currently, so he should just be resting on the bench rather than receiving red card.
Bruno is having like his worst season at the moment, I think this guy needs a break, maybe he will be better when he returns but I hope he won't be starting in their league match after the red card match banned was overturn, this guy needs a break, hope he come out of this phase early.

Another poor performance for Manchester United, they struggled to get a draw in the match, which is really a disappointing one. Manchester United were already winning with two goals, and Porto equalized and was leading before Manchester United struggled to score their final goal during the extra time given. Manchester United didn’t play anything special today.
Harry Maguire was able to salvage a point at extra time, the black sheep comes for the rescue, good to see him in the scoresheet today, hope this Manchester United team can bounce back because I believe Ten Hag is feeling the pressure now, I guessed so.

Manchester United drama

Erik Ten Hang and his boys have started their drama again tonight against Porto. How can Manchester United manage to score 2 goals against Porto before 20 mins of the first half and still allowed Porto to equalize the 2 goals still in the first half. The whole thing is not connecting or sounding well for a big team.
There's every possibility that Manchester United could go home to night with zero point from this match. Something is truly wrong with Manchester United.
The game ended with a draw after Harry Maguire rose high in the stoppage time and scored a header to give 10 man Manchester United a draw at Porto. The mentality of Manchester United have been heavily affected and the confidence of the players have reduced significantly but sadly the club management is not ready to make the vital and necessary decision of sacking Erik ten Hag. I wasn't surprised that Porto came from 2 goals down to get a draw and was even close to winning the game because Manchester United in recent times haven't been convincing with their results and performances. The club is in crises and will continue to underperform till when there's an improvement.

At this point am convinced Manchester United can't be defended anymore, it can't be the same old story when it comes to these competitions of these guys always throwing away comfortable leads...credit to them for showing  us that they know how to get on the scorecard but the problem now is keeping the lead which they have shown not to have the capacity!!!
What's shocking enough is that several players were sold over the transfer window and same problem persists, I guess the only variables that remain unchanged are the manager and goalkeeper...one or both of these need changing asap!!!

Perhaps just sack the manager already and lets see where this goes...
I dont really know where the problem of Manchester United is coming from if it is from coach or the players but what I know is that the performance of the team is getting worse this season.

In previous season Manchester United was even better that what it is now but they couldn't make a better performance in europa league.  As for this season I doubt Manchester United in the Europa league,  it won't be easy with Manchester United because they are struggling in their performance. With the pressure on ten Hag I don't think it will be easy for him to revive the performance of Manchester United this season.
