What a boring game - one of the worst finals I have seen in a while. Both teams were really reactive and are technically simply not good enough to create anything meaningful from possession.
Overall Frankfurt did deserve the trophy more - after all, they are undefeated throughout the competition. Rangers now have 2 final defeats in the last 15 years - they lost the 2008 final against Zenit.

A very well deserved win in my opinion having had a very good campaign, Rangers played so well and got the first goal, Should have been Aribo's night and his names on headlines to have scored the winning goal for Rangers, But Frankfurt showed composure to be able to get an equaliser and not loose hope in such an important game. It was a very tense game, i never expected the game to extend into extra time and even penalties...Aaron Ramsey's penalty miss will be talked about for a long time. Bassey played so well for rangers in the game, he deserves a move to a better club.
It turned out that my guess was right, after Frankfurt beat Barcelona I think Frankfurt will definitely win.

Rangers just had no luck.Rangers may regret missing out on this great opportunity. because reaching the final is not something easy for them. Rangers have shown their best.

It was an amazing Europa League Final for sure ! First halftime was looking a bit of touching each other and how they playing and the second half was fully playing.
I guess this was a real final game for the viewers and the fans and i am really Happy that Frankfurt won .

Finally Frankfurt managed to get the European cup and managed to advance to the champions league next season, they both played very well and I think they also played a draw, losing on penalties is not a shameful defeat, but I think Rangers' defeat was due to mentality and did not get luck, With this defeat Rangers have been beaten by Frankfurt 3 times in the European league.
Borre shoots Eintracht Frankfurt to the title and all in Europe watches. The 1:1 was extremely important and no one else could have done it. It was a great day for all German fans. If you saw the whole game, Frankfurt simply did more to win. More than twice as many shots on goal.
eintracht deserved the trophy even though rangers also beat big clubs (dortmund, leipzig) - and what the fans have done for the club over the whole europa league season was and is great.

In the extra times, Rangers had shoots more than Frankfurt, I thought there's will be at least one goal they would scored. I think it is rather difficult to desgin a match to be decided in penalties. I think both teams would have rather decided the game in 90 or 120minutes instead. The teams were on an equal level, both had their chances to win, but of course in a final the pressure is high, especially for "smaller" teams like Frankfurt and Glasgow which are not likely to repeat such a success every year.Congratulations to Frankfurt and respect to Glasgow! Frankfurt who came out as champions of the Europa League this season was amazing, after they were 1 goal behind but they were able to equalize and bring this match to be decided in the penalty shootout.
and the penalty shoot-out in the final requires a very high mentality, that mentality belongs to Frankfurt, they deserved to win this match.
