It turns out that Eintracht has never lost during the entire Europa League season? A very cool achievement for the 11th team in Germany and considering how strong opponents they had.
By the way, it turns out that next season there will be 5 teams from the Bundesliga in the Champions League?  Cool
Actually Frankfurt play on champion league next season without play off round, have 5 team from Bundesliga next season on champion league and the same ever happening on La Liga they have 5 team on champion league too. I think Frankfurt have prepare next season with top level player after bad performance on domestic league although success on europe league. Have different level between europe league and champion league, actually when getting hard group stage with bigger team.

here it is very nice to see how high the overall value of the starting eleven was, which brought the trophy back to frankfurt after 40 years. the whole thing also speaks for the coach Oliver Glasner who has made his players strong for the certain games in this el-season and has always pushed them

Frankfurt performance in yesterday final was truly extraordinary, even though it was 0-1 down in the 57th minute but the Frankfurt squad responded to the goal quite well and even they were able to equalize the score in the 69th minute and forced the trophy to be determined with a penalty kick, I look at transfermark if the value of their squad is not more than 180 million euros and their value is clearly very far below if we compare the value of the squad owned by bayern munchen and dortmund, but even though frankfurt does not display the best performance in the league but the european league trophy is proof that they are a very good team even without expensive players, by winning the european league trophy without experiencing a single defeat this season makes frankfurt entitled to play in the champions league next season.

Not many goals happened, but the second half was interesting. I liked the Rangers game better, but that idiotic defensive mistake played a fatal role. In the end Eintracht Frankfurt became champions. Who would have thought the retired Ramsey would let his team down and not score the decisive penalty.

You're right, and that's why I can't say Frankfurt are the best even though they won the title. Rangers and Frankfurt are both good and unfortunately we only have 1 title for the team to ensure victory. Luckily Frankfurt did not make many mistakes during 120 minutes, and they were able to convert the penalty into a goal. Rangers just had no luck.
When I saw how Rangers are playing and the extent they have gone, to win Europa is very possible. It was Rangers that first scored yesterday, but Rafael Borre made Frankfurt lucky as the match went further beyond 90 minutes as it was a draw. Penalty was played and Frankfurt won. I count penalty as a lucky match but the winner ( the club that wins) is in record which is what people will be saying, but Rangers truly tried.
Frankfurt played well also to win Europa league and they managed to win it. Yes, Rangers tried so hard to win the match but unfortunately Frankfurt destroyed their dream. Whatever it was penalty shootout, people will remain the winner. Congratulations to Frankfurt.

Rangers scored first in the 57th minute to prove that Rangers were trying to win the game. Unfortunately they could not maintain their lead,
because just 12 minutes later Frankfurt managed to equalize. Finally forced the match to end in a penalty shootout, then Frankfurt won the penalty
shootout and made Frankfurt the winner of the Europa League trophy. It was quite painful to lose on penalties, but Rangers did their best,
and Rangers reaching the final is already a pretty good achievement in my opinion. Even though it's true as you say, only the winners will be
remembered. Frankfurt have played badly in the Bundesliga this season, but they played really well in the Europa League, seeing Frankfurt previously
beat West Ham and Barcelona, that alone is a sign that Frankfurt deserves to be the winner of the Europa League trophy.

Both teams equalised each other and you could see very quickly that small mistakes could decide the game or lead to goals. This was very good to see with the 1:0 for Rangers. Two mistakes by Frankfurt led to the goal. It was very exciting then until the Frankfurt goal. After the goal the players had less and less air because of the heat and it was amazing that they played for so long.

And Frankfurt's goal also comes from a defensive error by Rangers.

It is these details, which are difficult to calculate and which can affect any bet placed. It was an excellent game that both teams could have won. Then on penalties it's really a matter of luck.

But I would say that another mistake was that the Rangers coach put a player in the last minutes thinking about penalties. This rarely works well, as it was the player who came in, who missed the penalty.

What a boring game - one of the worst finals I have seen in a while. Both teams were really reactive and are technically simply not good enough to create anything meaningful from possession.
Overall Frankfurt did deserve the trophy more - after all, they are undefeated throughout the competition. Rangers now have 2 final defeats in the last 15 years - they lost the 2008 final against Zenit.

I would say that for a final that game yesterday was quite ok. Of course there were not that many big chances to score but that was to be expected as it was a final after all and there you don't have a second leg where you can make up for a mistake. That is the reason why most final games don't have to many goals. I also think that Frankfurt deserved to win the trophy yesterday as they tried more when they had the ball in my opinion. The Glasgow Rangers played more defensively and waited for their chances to start quick counterattacks, which almost worked out for them as they scored the first goal and had another huge chance to score close to the end of the overtime.

It was a final match of equal quality, they played well throughout the match until they finally had to decide the winner on penalties. At least it is evident from the statistics and they have a good mentality in the final match, but after all there will always be a winner in the match and I congratulate Frankfurt who have won the Europa League title this season.
The match looks equally but Frankfurt is a team that played more seriously and they played a little bit better than Rangers. The difference is minor but Frankfurt is better.

But even so, from the many predictions that existed before whether it was about Frankfurt or Rangers at least they were right. Because in normal time these two teams are still good and great, the penalty shootout only determines the winning team while basically the quality of these two teams is good.
Winning or losing in penalties is never a normal experience. It drains out or boost your emotion, energy and winners will feel super excited while the loser will feel very disappointed.

We discussed that this final is kind of only one chance and they both played seriously to win. However, as always, in direct facing sport, only one person or one team will win. History picks Frankfurt. Congratulations to Frankfurt! They have one title in their club history.

It wipes out their not too good season in Bundesliga.

surprising results. although I didn't watch the last game. I believe Rangers will win. I bet on Rangers, but in 90 minutes they are still a draw. no problem.
looking at the statistics, both teams must be playing well. because I guess they have the same players and strengths. Frankfurt got his luck because he could finish the penalty kick well. however, we have to congratulate Frankfurt on winning the UEFA league title this season.
Eintracht Frankfurt had some good chances to open the scoring as they were mostly using their pace and width to create chances. But Rangers looked composed and clinical defensively. Both sides had ample chances to score in the first-half but could not find the back of the net as the half ended goalless. Although towards the beginning of the first half, Rangers put in a valiant effort as they took the lead through Joe Aribo to pile the pressure on Frankfurt but they struck back when Rafael Borre stabbed home to level. Rangers could have won at extra time but Kevin Trapp put in a memorable performance to deny Rangers with a stunning extra-time save.

Finally Frankfurt managed to get the European cup and managed to advance to the champions league next season, they both played very well and I think they also played a draw, losing on penalties is not a shameful defeat, but I think Rangers' defeat was due to mentality and did not get luck, With this defeat Rangers have been beaten by Frankfurt 3 times in the European league.
An entertaining 120 minutes of play. A very good final and Frankfurt deserve to be champions of the UEFA Europa League. Rangers can actually maintain a 1-0 advantage if their defensive communication is good. Frankfurt's reply scored by Rafael Borre in the 69th minute was clearly a mistake by the Rangers defender in responding to Filip Kostic cross.

I watched first half outside, nice weather and a long time since chilled alone with a friend and a beer, don't even remember when my brain switched off but by the time I was done, left the place and realised game had gone to ET. So I lost my bets anyway (had Rangers for a FT win).

Can't really blame them. Precious final in such a long time, and almost no guy in the teams with great experience. Think Rangers reaaaally miss Morales... and he was busy partying with fans ha.

Indeed, I know Rangers did their best for 120 minutes to win the game, but unfortunately they had to lose on penalties. Sometimes it hurts but they deserve to be proud of trying to do well. But Rangers and Frankfurt are the two surprising teams to reach the final of the Europa League this season as neither are the favourites. In the end Frankfurt were the lucky team in the final this time by winning on penalties.

Sometimes the best don't win anything because of one little mistake, that's normal in a match and I think Rangers know that now.

Rangers and Frankfurt are clubs that are not considered to enter the Europa League final, but both have proven, the material for both clubs is almost the same, there is no star player who shines so brightly in both clubs, I favor Frankfurt more than Rangers, because in this season they have played quite consistently, although not all the games they have played have won, but when compared to Rangers, Frankfurt is better this season
What needs to be seen is that both of them have had a very great struggle so far and also the motivation to continue to win in their struggle in the final will still be there.
So in general I would like which one of them can win because they both have fought really well to be in the Europa League final this season.
Their struggle will end in the final, Rangers and Frankfurt have proven themselves to be teams that deserve to be in the final. Whoever wins deserves it, because the struggle continues to be consistent. Rangers have performed very well so far, Frankfurt also has a fighting spirit that does not know the word give up. In the final this time there was no big team that was seeded, but these two clubs deserve to be called the best team in the Europa League stage.
Teams like this usually play carefree, because they don't target anything big, this time they have come so far on the Europa stage, just one step away from lifting the trophy this season, both Frankfurt and Rangers will surprise this season, so that they not considered as a weak club in the next season, Frankfurt have beaten the big clubs to reach the final, they have bigger chances and are very advantaged
That's right, this team will play without a burden and will be more motivated to become champions, moreover the two teams that will compete in this final have almost the same quality, of course both teams are very confident to be able to win the Europa League.
As for the advantage, I don't think there is an advantage in this match, because both of them have beaten tough opponents to be in this final, I think the chances of both teams to become champions are still the same 50-50.
The material of the players owned by the two clubs is also not much different, they do not have star players who shine in their respective clubs, the match ended in a draw, so they had to take a penalty kick to determine the winner. Unfortunately Aaron Ramsey failed to score so that Frankfurt came out as champions this season, the match was quite exciting and tense, but because both clubs played well enough, the match ended in a draw and had to go to a penalty kick, congratulations to Frankfurt for the great achievement

It turned out that my guess was right, after Frankfurt beat Barcelona I think Frankfurt will definitely win.
The final was exciting, there should have been more goals, penalties had to be the last resort.
The Frankfurt coach can be a role model for coaches of other football clubs, dress simply, not much style, and play simple and tactical football. But the result is satisfying
Congratulations for Eintracht Frankfurt

long before the match started that it was predictable that Frankfurt would be champions in the Europe League and this result was proven earlier this morning where they won dramatically on penalties after the two teams drew 1-1 until the match ended even though the match was over. marred by various surprises where the rangers put up such a fierce fight that they almost took the lead in extra time but Kevin trap did a great job congratulations to Entra Frankfurt who won the Europa League and they made it through to the Champions League next season

I have to agree that it was a boring match for a final match in Europa League. Both team did not show good teamwork especially when it comes to attacking situation. It looks like a low class competition final game, but they deserved to be in final by beating all the other "higher class" teams. Congratulation for Eintracht Frankfurt to bring the trophy home. I'm curious how far they can go in Champions League next season as they did not do really well in Bundesliga but they could win Europa League.
