Barcelona seems to be pretty unlucky this season. First of all they did not manage to qualify for the play-off rounds of the UEFA Champions League, which was really bad for them because they desperate would have needed that money because they have more than 1.3 Billion € of debts. Then they said, that if they manage to reach the final of the UEFA Europa League or even win this competition then they could also earn a lot of money there, but then they received probably one of the hardest opponents that they could get with Napoli and i really think that Barca is not the favorite in this matchup. I mean they definitely have a chance against Napoli but i would not bet money on Barca to advance into the next round.

You would think they are highly motivated, but do you think it is easy for them? A team that consists mostly of champions who also won the Champions League, some of them several times, are now playing Europa League. I can also imagine that they will have a hard time to play at their absolute limit because they are used to much bigger challenges.

I'm sure Barcelona will be able to follow the Champions League next season, either through LaLiga or through this Eufa Champions path. but I'm sure they will win this European league. Because the opponents are relatively easier, considering Barcelona this season after getting Barcelona players, players are better and more focused.

I am not sure if we both are watching the same Barcelona this season, but Barcelona has so much trouble even beating weaker teams in La Liga, it is anything but guaranteed to me that they will win the Europa League. There are a couple of contenders that will cause major problems to Barcelona if they face each other.

I don't see it being the most important game, because the most important thing for them is to improve their ranking in the Spanish league as much as possible, in order to ensure that next year they go to the Champions League.

Barcelona really had big problems at the start of the season, and the team was in big disarray.
Xavi has recently put the team in order and Barcelona is playing better with every game.
If Barcelona overtake Napoli, in the continuation of the competition Barcelona will be much better and more dangerous, and certainly one of the favorites to win the competition.
Too bad they had such a tough draw already at the beginning of the knockout phase of the competition, but they have a good chance of winning.

I also have to say that Barcelona is looking like a really far better team than they were at the start of the season, and obviously in my opinion they have a really good chance of winning.

If someone asked me the same question 2 or 3 weeks before I would have said that Barcelona obviously doesn't have any chances but now Barcelona has shown some hope and made a lot of people leave that they are better than that.

You are right, if this match had taken place last year, I would bet against Barcelona, but now the situation is different.
Xavi have really raised the level of Barcelona’s game and I would say they have a small advantage in this match.
In fact, Barcelona can no longer win any trophies this year other than this trophy, and I think they will do anything to win this competition and thus save the season.
