in these minutes the groups in this year's uefa europa league have been drawn:

I think we don't have groups that are neither too strong nor too weak. Each has one or two teams that will certainly pass the next phase without much difficulty.

Maybe it's in Group E, that we're going to see a close fight to be first.

Well i think Group C and Group E are really difficult. Also i think most of the other groups are either evenly matched or are too easy for some teams. But the europe league looks much much stronger this year then before

I am not so sure about that. You really only have a handful of very strong teams. From what I can tell, this year isn't necessarily stronger than last year's teams. Last year there was Roma, Arsenal, Leverkusen, Benfica Lissabon, Napoli, Leicester, AC Milan, Villareal, Tottenham, Hoffenheim. That sounds much stronger to me than this year.

But the europe league looks much much stronger this year then before

Probably the reason, for this year we will see better and more balanced teams, is because many weaker clubs ended up going to the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Title contenders for sure of course, but Europa League? They are in Champions League this season:)

I would not call Manchester United a strong team because their midfield is fragile, and their right back position is weak so mark my words Manchester United season won’t be as strong as you’ll think. However if they manage to buy a holding midfielder and buy a better right back player then only I’ll call them a strong team.

What ? Midfield fragile ? With Pogba , Bruno , Mctominay , Mata ? Are you kidding us ? This is one of the strongest midfield in EPL right now because Bruno was already in a great form but with pogba being near it's peak , it's almost impossible to not admit this team as a great one for this year. Yea maybe they miss a player here and there , but every team has this problems. I'm willing to take a bet that United will finish top 2 in EPL.

Exactly what I was thinking too Juggy,,, are you kidding about the midfield? I believe if you look at the whole EPL they have the strongest midfield there by a long distance and we are not even putting in the failed wonderkid Donny vd Beek. Right Back is it not also Wan Bissaka who is one of the best in his position? Bruno was by most standards the best midfielder last season and Pogba well,,, he used to be the best in Italy but maybe now with 4 assists in his first game he will recover.
I think Manchester United have a pretty solid and strong midfield and Manchester United still have Fred and Nemanja Matic as back-ups in that sector which I think all Manchester United midfield players are arguably the strongest in the EPL.
and the presence of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay have made Manchester United's midfield very solid and if anyone says Manchester United's line is weak or bad, it seems that there is something wrong with their assessment.

We watched a lot of goals in the Fenerbahçe - Helsinki game. It was not a very difficult match for Fenerbahçe, we thought we would win. It was not a very good match for Helsinki, they played a very bad game especially towards the end of the match. It was enjoyable to see 3 goals in almost 5 minutes.
It looks like we will be watching Fenerbahçe's young football players for many years Smiley
Their strengths and levels are different and I think it's only natural that Fenerbahce can beat Helsinki by a big score, because when there is a real difference then playing home or away is no longer a guarantee. We can see in other games, even though they get a lot of goals but their opponents also have goals that can be said their level is just as good which makes the game go hard.

It was almost a disaster for Galatasaray but in second half they did a good comeback. If they couldn't win this game we would see a big crisis in Galatasaray. They reached group stage and contribute country coefficient point, which Türkiye desperately needed. Fenerbahçe also won comfortably as expected. I didn't see much light from Helsinki, only Riski brothers were good and they both scored. Helsinki defense line and goalkeeper were pretty bad.

I am very sorry for Galatasaray
it has always been a team that I have loved and that I have had sympathies for
it means that one cycle is closing and another must open, without the need to trigger a crisis

we have to renew ourselves and change the things that are not right

I think the coach of Galatasaray needs to make a little improvement to their current team, because I think with their current squad it seems that fighting the randers Fc is not a difficult thing, but in fact Galatasaray even struggles to beat the randers Fc in the first leg and the second leg, and I think Galatasaray victory was just a stroke of luck due to an own goal from a Randers Fc player.

At least they managed to pass after their pretty bad failure in the first leg.. The other Turkish team, Fenerbahce, crashed HJK with 5 goals, pretty unexpected but good result for them.
Antwerp was the second team to recover from its defeat in the first leg and passed this stage with penalty kicks.
Today is the group stage draw, wonder know if it will be interesting as CL one Wink

Legia - Slavia was very interesting game. Slavia got red card on 3rd minute - one of earliest sent-off's I ever saw. But despite it they managed to score. But in 2nd half Legia pushed really hard and scored 2 goals. Legia in Europa league, Slavia moves to Conference league.
Rangers didn't managed to score after all and game ended 0:0. And they're in group stage.
I haven't watched HJK - Fenerbahche game, but from result looks it was fun game.
Antwerp made comeaback after loss 2:4. They won main time 2:0 and sent game to extra time which is in action now.
After all, playoff round this year ended without huge upsets.

What a win for Antwerp after penalties they qualified for the group stage. Fenerbahce destroyed HJK in an away game was expecting to be close. Also Crvena zvezda won as expected in the away game against Cluj

Fenerbahçe started really fast and Valencia scored 2 goals. Normally Fenerbahçe should advance to Europa League without too much hassle but in first game they could only scored one goal so Helsinki got hungry about second game. Roope Riski replied and Helsinki is trying to find second goal but they need at least two more to go to extra time. Fenerbahçe is also attacking and they can find third goal. If that happens Helsinki don't have much chance anymore.

Alashkert - Rnagers game already in action. Rangers won first game just 1:0, but I predict bigger their win today.
Good odds for Fenerbahche win - 2.15, but it's quite tricky.
Agree with @casperBGD - Galatasaray and Antwerp wins is good picks. I also would add Olympiacos - they almost in next round already after 3:0, but I expect them to reach another win.
Zorya - Rapid - I pick under 3.5 @1.65
Legia - Slavia - I don't bet on this game, but I predict that it will move to extra time and maybe penalties.

The Turkish teams Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are going to play really important games.

Galatasaray got a 1-1 draw against Randers in the first game. They were really inadequate to score more goals. But this time, I expect their manager to fire the team up for the rematch. Their attacking side is actually quite powerful. They are just losing on defense. But as long as they are able to score more than they concede, they would eliminate Randers today nicely.

And Fenerbahce are going to have the rematch against HJK Helsinki. They drew with Helsinki in the first game, 1-1. They could have scored more but they still don't have a good forward player. So, this might make things harder for Fenerbahce here. But they still should be able to take advantage of being a more qualified team than their opponent. They shouldn't have too much difficulty in eliminating Helsinki.

I'm normally not this undecided about who to bet on tonight. Rangers were killing it for me in Europa last season, but this time they got dumped in there, so I'm not sure what to make of them. Odds below 15/10 also not helping.

Surely not Pacos at 20/1 against Spurs again? Heh.

Antwerp and Galatasaray seem as good picks tonight, both at similar home odds, around @1.6, and both need win to qualify, Antwerp need goals as well, since they lost first match 2:4 from Omonia

on the other side, both Scottish giants are defending home wins, Celtic in Alkmaar, and Rangers in Alashkert, will be interesting to see will they both qualify for group stage, Celtic has better result (0:2) but tougher opponent, and Rangers has easier task on the paper, but only 0:1 taken from home

I agree with the choices. Antwerp lost to Omonia 4-2 in the first game and it was really surprising for me honestly. Because they had a really great season. They ended the regular season of the Jupiler League at the 2nd place and they ended the Championsip Group as the 3rd. As far as I know, Omonia are a much weaker opponent for them. But the Europa League is really interesting as we all know. But I still think that we will watch a much better Antwerp here and they will beat Omonia.

When it comes to Galatasaray, they drew with Randers 1-1 in the first leg. They were quite bad on attacking. But this time, I believe that things will be different. We saw how good they were in the rematch against St Johnstone in the last round. We may see a similar performance again.
I think Antwerp could have won in this second leg but it looks like they will still find it difficult to qualify, or maybe it will be decided in extra time or even on penalties. The two-goal gap is too big I think and Omonia just needs to hold off every attack and that's enough for Omonia to qualify. Betting ML for Antwerp may still be worth it but if it's about qualifying or not, I think Antwerp is still difficult to go further.
