Antwerp and Galatasaray seem as good picks tonight, both at similar home odds, around @1.6, and both need win to qualify, Antwerp need goals as well, since they lost first match 2:4 from Omonia
on the other side, both Scottish giants are defending home wins, Celtic in Alkmaar, and Rangers in Alashkert, will be interesting to see will they both qualify for group stage, Celtic has better result (0:2) but tougher opponent, and Rangers has easier task on the paper, but only 0:1 taken from home
I agree with the choices. Antwerp lost to Omonia 4-2 in the first game and it was really surprising for me honestly. Because they had a really great season. They ended the regular season of the Jupiler League at the 2nd place and they ended the Championsip Group as the 3rd. As far as I know, Omonia are a much weaker opponent for them. But the Europa League is really interesting as we all know. But I still think that we will watch a much better Antwerp here and they will beat Omonia.
When it comes to Galatasaray, they drew with Randers 1-1 in the first leg. They were quite bad on attacking. But this time, I believe that things will be different. We saw how good they were in the rematch against St Johnstone in the last round. We may see a similar performance again.
I think Antwerp could have won in this second leg but it looks like they will still find it difficult to qualify, or maybe it will be decided in extra time or even on penalties. The two-goal gap is too big I think and Omonia just needs to hold off every attack and that's enough for Omonia to qualify. Betting ML for Antwerp may still be worth it but if it's about qualifying or not, I think Antwerp is still difficult to go further.
