They do not have to be great right now this season, they had a horrible start of the season that is true, but not like they fixed all of their problems. It is true that Xavi has been much better than Koeman but I am sure that koeman is furius and yelling at TV screen "if you gave me those players like auby+traore+torres then I would had better results too!!!" and that is why the real difference will always be roster change.

Barcelona needs to get better players and all that, but they do not have financial means to do so, which means that maybe it will take longer than just one year for them to turn things around and start being champions everywhere.

Yes, better players are always going to produce better results but we can not deny the fact that Xavi had a lot more impact on the team compared to any previous coaches. He lifted the morale of the team.

I know that obviously all the problems have not been solved but some problems have and I believe the other problems will also be solved over time. It's obviously going to take time. I think they have a chance to do well in the next season but even though they don't play very well, like finishing first in the La Liga or winning the Champions League I think they will get close.

Barcelona seemed to be unstoppable for so many people surely. They improved their performance too highly by Xavi's starting to manage the team in the end. But I was still having some doubts about them to go until the end in this tournament because their performance here wasn't impressive at all. They mustn't be caring about the Europa League title I guess as it is below their quality. They were struggling against much weaker teams and Frankfurt stopped them consequently. We will all see them performing much better in the Champions League next season. I'm confident about it.

I know that Barcelona did struggle against some weaker opponents but to me, that is understandable because this is the new reformed Barcelona in my opinion. We have to remember that they did not start the season well at all and they should be really happy to end in the second position in la Liga. We can say that they probably have failed in the European League. And I agree with that.

But even though they didn't achieve too much in this season, they haven't lost too much either as we thought they might. I am also looking forward to seeing them play in the Champions League. Imagine losing to Frankfurt in Europa League and next season winning the Champions League!!!  Smiley

Barcelona have come quite a long way thanks to Xavi's good management so far. Maybe they weren't very successful in the Europa League this season but their style showed us that they didn't care about the tournament too much. Because they were playing completely different in the La Liga and the Europa League. They were much eager to win in the La Liga. It is really great to see this improvement among Barcelona players because they deserve bigger successes in the future. If Xavi continues to make things work next season too, they can do great things.
Xavi management in the team so far is spectacular, he really  transformed the team since taken over as a manager, his impact in the team is remarkable. With their stats this season  I never expected they could finished at the second place in the league this season but they came up with a different pattern of play that end them at the second place in the league. Though they performance was so poor in the Europa league, I think they really need to sign more experience player next season to come back more better and stronger.

Barcelona should not think about their failure too much right now because they started the season really badly and they ended up finishing in the top two, which is an achievement in itself in my opinion.

Barcelona is going to concentrate on doing well in La Liga next season. They will also be trying to do well in the Champions League but I don't know if they will be able to achieve any great thing in the Champions League with the current squad. I think they should concentrate on La Liga right now and over time they will make their squad stronger through some transfers and they will be able to concentrate on the Champions League then.

Don't worry if you are Barcelona fans still have hope for your favorite team back to UEFA Europe League next season trough finish on 3rd position standing on champion league  Grin. I know every fans hope next season can bring positive side with Barcelona back to the top performance and success with one or treble trophies next season begin with copa del rey, la liga untuk uefa champion league. But not really optimist with Barcelona performance is better than this season.

Barcelona has done really well because their standing was not good at starting, everyone thought they might not even make it in the top 10. But they have certainly proved everyone wrong and they have made a really good comeback. And their coach did a really good job.
Yes, truly they made it. What makes many fans disappointed in them is probably that they couldn't get Europe League trophy when they were actually at the rising codnition. but in my opinion, there must be a certain condition where a team couldn't always fulfill the expectation. Sometimes, what the expectation didn't match with what happened during the game on the field. So, just give appreciation to Barcelona that had tried their best in this season. And wait for their next season performance. they should be better. if they still couldn;t make better, it is normal if more fans are disapointed.

Barcelona coach has a lot of work to do to improve the team in next season because many fans are not happy about the results they got from this season. Many small teams defeated Barcelona in this season base on their poor performance from past matches. I believe Barcelona will be great again because their coach will really introduce more strategies that will help Barcelona to perform well through out next season to embrace the title. I think, their coach will not miss this opportunity to help Barcelona to win next season trophy to appreciate the management for the opportunity.
If they are pure fans then they will not be disappointed with Xavi's work this season. Xavi came at a time when the team situation was chaotic and even, when Xavi arrived, Barcelona's position in the La Liga table was in ninth place or between seven and nine I forgot the exact place. Therefore, with Barcelona again able to finish in the top four and even become runners up in the La Liga standings, there is nothing to be disappointed about from Xavi. Indeed, in this case it is about the Europa League, but I believe this Europa League is not a main target for Xavi so yes, I think Barcelona are still good and the real fans will certainly be able to understand the situation that is happening within the team.

I think they perform really well and there is nothing to be ashamed of. they did not do very well in the Europa League and that is okay in my opinion after all that they have been through this season. I believe they will be able to play a lot better in the next season and have good competition with Real Madrid.

What does Xavi have to do with bringing Barcelona back to glory with the Europa League?
I don't think Barcelona and Xavi need to be discussed here anymore, because the winner of the Europa League is already known. Barcelona's failure in the Europa League is an old story, after all, next season Xavi will lead Barcelona in the Champions League, not in the Europa League.
Well, although he said it in a somewhat harsh way, you are right, Barcelona had a very big failure in the Europa League, I would not think of Barcelona at the moment for it, rather it could make a difference with the Spanish league. that both Xavi and Barcelona managed to do something significant like being in the first places, I wouldn't say that they were in the first place or that they were champions, but if they could stay in the top 3, maybe that way they would once again be one of the best teams from Spain, Europe and the world, they have respect in football, the only thing left is for them to show it on the pitch.

I thought Barcelona would have been unstoppable in the UEFA Europa league after their exit from the Champions League. But I was really surprised when they were knocked out of the competition. This season was not a bad one for them because they would be in the Champions league next season. But I think the team needs some reinforcement.New players should be brought in and some players should leave the club. Coach Xavi is not doing badly but we expect more from him next season. Barcelona is a great club and is trophy hungry and thirsty, hence we expect more trophies next season.

I haven't seen a dramatic change from barcelona, last season they finish in 3rd position with 24 wins, 7 draws, 7 loss. This season barcelona rose to 2nd position with 21 wins, 10 draws, 7 loss. But for the style of play, I admit Xavi made a change in the position of the players and that's a natural thing for a new coach. Yes, it's still too new, maybe Xavi needs time to bring Barcelona to UEL & UCL champions
This is quite reasonable considering that in this case he is certainly aware that he still needs a process to carry out his scheme well because apart from improving his position this season he also clearly has to prepare for the next season.
In the last few games even he has always tried some variations in the formation he runs and this is proof that he is still looking for the right formation and team to navigate next season.

Maybe it's more appropriate that Xavi is still looking for some suitable players to be placed in the right position. It seems Xavi wants to return Barcelona to an era where Xavi and the others were still players, compact and fast, that was the Barcelona era of Xavi Hernandez. Maybe Xavi can start by giving Barcelona's young players a chance to play and see their talent
I also believe Xavi can move Barcelona to 1st position next season and maintain a balance that he was used to seeing when he was a player because if there's one thing he can be known for is his determination for success and his focus.
Last season, they finished 3rd, which is quite a step down for them. He should do well to introduce fresh legs as this will help them not just showcase talent, but could improve their game.

I feel that we should be realistic about Barcelona’s chance for winning the title, and let’s hope that they do not drop in the Europa league again. Furthermore if Barcelona board do not buy Xavi new player’s then there’ll always be a possibility of seeing them back in the Europa League, and maybe this time they’ll even win it but I’ll pray that they avoid playing in the Europa league as I feel that they always belong in the champions league only.

I don't think it's too good if he still sticks to things that have passed, considering that in this case no matter how hard he does, the results will still be different and won't be the same as their heyday era some time ago. but it does not rule out he still has a chance for his prime at Barcelona but has to be at a different rhythm now as those past benchmarks were quite difficult to run with their current squad.
Btw I'm quite impressed now that he's made a quick move in terms of player transfers. at least there are defenders who join there.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
I would guess that it was the biggest news because we do not see Barcelona in europa at all, I do not remember if they were ever there, but if they were then I must have been a very little kid or I just do not remember it at all.
This caused a lot of people to talk about it and it was a big news, on top of that we got the fact that eventual winners, Frankfurt, ended up beating them as well and this was during Xavi was managing them as well, not like it was something brand new neither. So all in all the talk stayed, even after the finals, even after we know who won, we are still talking about it because it was such a shocking thing that happened.
Playing in the european league is actually not something new for barcelona, from the history that barcelona has participated in the european league 11 times but unfortunately they have never won that the trophy, before this season, the 2003/04 season was the last time barcelona participated in European League Championship, the decline of Barcelona to the European League is something that is quite surprising for many people because so far Barcelona is known as one of the ruling teams of the Champions League.
Yesterday Final match was really quite fierce and even the determination of the trophy had to be decided by a penalty because throughout the match the two teams drew 1-1, Frankfurt had been predicted from a long time ago to win the final match because they are considered to have a more qualified squad than the Rangers.

Yes, I also have to say that this match was expected to be a win for Frankfurt but Rangers played really well. Actually, it was amazing enough for me that the match had to be decided with penalties. I thought the match would not go that far. But I have to say it was a great final, and it really lived up to the hype.

About Barcelona, I think they should have done well but I have to give credit to Frankfurt because they did their homework very well, they knew Barcelona had some problems in their defense and they exploited those problems very well.

I think excited for next season to know which one team become the champion on eruope league?

If Xavi gives every new player a chance to show himself, Barcelona will never regain its former power. The problem is that to understand whether the player has adapted, whether he shows his level of play or not, you need at least a few matches, that's a lot. I think he will assemble a team of players in whom he is confident and who are time tested
When it comes to giving new players the chances to show case themselves, it often comes out beautifully because, you would see them putting in there all in the team to make every effort count. There might be some flaws due to inexperience because that does work too but fir sure, there all would be show cased on the pitch. To enable them win a first team shirt or at least be on the bench. You can take a look at Arsenal and its young team, they might not be the best in there prospective league and are weathered by inexperience but, they are doing ther quarter and it's helped them to the Europa qualification.

I think if new players are given chances they should be given only one instruction above all and that is ""go out there and show what you can do"".

Because that is the only way a young player is going to play really fearless football, if a young player is given too many tasks to do and think on the football field he will surely end up not performing at his best potential in my opinion.

So, while experimenting with young players I think they should be given the freedom of expressing themselves on the field. And through that, the football world might find something very beautiful.
