A threat they were looking like within the 25th minutes of the game but emphasizing it as a big threat sounds too emphatic to me for a match that leveled in a 2:2 score line. The Italian had a beautiful start with control of the game and with the Belgians getting back to stabilize the game was what led to the red card for Lorenzo Pellegrini (mind you, red card is part of the game) and as we may have it Belgium took the opportunity got their first reply in the first half, and coming back to the second half at the 61st minutes Trossard found the back of the  after his goal assist to De Cuyper in the 42 minutes. A game that ended in a 2:2 score for the both sides. However, this leaves Italy at the top of their group with 7points followed by France 6points and then Belgium with just 4points.

The two teams had almost equal attacks, with England not being able to score in this match even though they were much stronger in the match. Although the England team performed well in the midfield, they could not finish the ball in the attacking section, and the goal post was easily saved by the goalkeeper of the Greece team.
 But even though Chole Palmer is a player in the English Premier League, he could not play an important role in its matches. Due to which the gamblers faced the biggest losses due to losing this match, as most of the bettors were sure that the England team would win this match.



Israel's defeat was evident from the very beginning in their pattern, style of play and passing system were different. Although the France team here is very strong and squad wise also very strong. It really wasn’t England’s day eventually. I sure didn’t see this coming but, eventually it did looking at how better Italy managed there 10 men against England’s 11. England played a high line, giving Greece way too much room for a counter attack. I think most of this was due to England’s desperate need for a goal, haven’t conceived early in the second half. Greece even had a disallowed goal by the VAR and soon after Jude Bellingham scored a screamer for England. All of Greece really felt it was over but, they net yet another goal just minutes after and it was such a blow to England.

Israel was the opposing team of France in this match, the Israeli team lost by a wide margin.  They were the weakest players for this match but many of the France team performed well, if you notice you can definitely see that the players of the France team were always aggressive.  And right from the start, France team started scoring goals and the reverse side Israel just endured the attack, this 4-1 win for France team.  Although Mbappe was not in the attacking department of the France team, every player besides Mbappe performed well.

That England loss is the highlight of today's Nation league fixtures. I hear that it's the first time ever that Greece have won at wembley so it's a pretty big deal for them. We're continuing to see a poor run of form for England. It was clear even during the Euro 2024 that this England team have something fundamentally wrong with the team despite having housing some of the biggest football stars, they couldn't beat a Greece team with plenty of unknowns. I know anything can happen in football but your eye brows start raising up when it happens one too many times.

Sometimes the action of one player can prove fatal to a team and in the case of Lorenzo Pellegrini I felt that foul wasn't worth it. Just let the player be and I didn't see what caused the card but I guess it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity that he stopped, or was it? Now it had to cost them their three points. At least with this one point they managed to get they were still able to qualify for the next round.

It's a funny, clownish tournament that will probably soon be cancelled, but England's failures are amusing.
I would also like to highlight the game between Norway and Slovenia, where thanks to a double by Haaland, Norway won and confidently continues to lead.

I watched the game between England and Greece this evening and I must say that the result of the game was below my expectations. Playing against Greece at the Wembley stadium, I thought it'll be an easy game for the Three Lions. Greece performance in the game deserved the result they got at the end because they played like a team who came into the game with not other intention than to win.
England manager's poor tactical approach in that game was to play Cole Palmer in a deeper position than his natural no. 10 role which he allowed Phil Foden to play in and it cost him the defeat.

Lol is not a shame mate that England lost to Greece that is just football it can be unpredictable untill the predicted team won. 3 things are in always involve in the game of soccer is either you win, draw or loss and today England lost against Greece in a 2-1 defeat in the UEFA Nation league group stage match, though England is favorite to win the match because of the squad they have but reserve was the case as they were defeated 2-1 by Greece. It could also be that the England team underated the Greece side that they will be an easy side to win which didn't work out.
There lost against Greece will also be a lesson to them to know where exactly the fault of losing against Greece came from and make a correction when they play next. I believe somany gambler will definitely loss money today as they will surely play England to win Greece because they are the favorite side to win.

Inadequately criticized tournaments as "unimportant" are, many times, because the fans feel that the main aim of the tournament is to make money. This is most common with international matches for small countries that do not have wide viewership. An example is a match like Gibraltar vs San Marino, which does not attract many people since both have small populations, and therefore, weak teams.

Nevertheless, these tournaments are significant for small teams to be out on the international stage, and of course for them to help develop their players. Even if there are just a handful of people watching, the experience can be valuable for the country. Also, in football, the results are always unexpected; take, for example, England's defeat to Greece. This shows how much surprise football holds within itself.

While many consider those tournaments to be all about money, there is actually a development aspect, national pride, and the opportunity to compete which is also important especially for small countries who rarely get such an opportunity.

It's quite shocking for me as well. I can't really remember the odds I saw yesterday, but England had more of the winning odds. Well, I can't really say that England lost the game even when the have such quality players. Saka was forced out with injury 3 minutes after England conceded their first goal. We shouldn't even be saying much about foden, because he doesn't give much impact unlike when he plays for city. There where other top players(popular) on the pitch that we should probably point out as well. Today wasn't just a regular day for the England team. Greece wanted the win more, or maybe it's just a win that they had to get for (George), there player that died recently.


I am not sure of how to compare both players, but I've always prefer palmer ahead of Bellingham just because I watch the English premier league more. I am not a Chelsea fan, but from what I have seen, palmer is just a wonder to watch. But I won't still compare both players, considering the fact that palmer is more of a flexible player (plays both RW, CM, AM, and F9), while Bellingham plays more of AM and CM. But from the look of things, palmer is currently receiving some criticism on social media (X) for today's game. Don't really know why some fans choose to target him.

England suffered an unexpected defeat. Greece won the match 2-1 with a last-minute goal and rose to the top of the group.

It was an easy match for France, they beat Israel 4-1.

Italy was 2-0 ahead but couldn't keep the score. Lorenzo Pellegrini was shown a red card in the 40th minute and Italy was reduced to 10 men.

I knew England was going to struggle when I saw the line up, you can't play this Greece this number of attcaers on the pitch, player palmer so deep and playing folder up front, I think palmer deserve to play at the no8 role, he is more creative, more precise and above all he is having a good season than Folden so far. Folden is a good player , but after the last Euros he has been battling with injuries and fitness too so I dont think starting him was the best decision made.

I will say it over and over again Cole palmer deserve the England. Last season he proved for both club and country. The goal contributions he is involved in, his match rating and some incredible things he has done, it only right to say he is the best English player right now. Today he didn't look more adventurous because of the role he played, he needs to be in the attacking zone all the time so he can cause problems for the opposition defense and even to get a goal too.

England will qualify but maybe loosing today match might jeopardize them topping the group but there are still alot of matches to play so you never can tell but one thing for sure is that today loss will cost the three lions.

The Italian match against Belgium finished in a draw, as expected. The Belgians were lucky that the Italian player was sent off in the 40th minute, otherwise, they would have lost the entire point. However, due to Pellegrini's red card, luck was on their side, Belgium had the chance to score two goals because the Italian players were unable to deal with the pressure of 11 players. If the red card had not been given, the Italian players would have easily won the game because they were dominating the game, scoring two goals in the space of 24 minutes; the red card ruined the game, and they conceded two goals to draw the match, with equalizers from De Cuyper and Trossard.


To be honest, Greece deserves to win the match since they dominated it more than we expected, controlling the ball in every position, but the English players are doing nothing and have just earned 6 points in three group games. This result is quite disappointing for the English players, they were unable to achieve anything with the current squad, Greece had three shots on target, and two of them were converted into goals. However, Palmer won the best England player of the year, I was shocked as well but a lot of Chelsea fans believed he deserved it. Lol, a player who did not start a single match for England in the Euro.

So the cup with no reason to exist is back
We got some interesting match and some surprising matches but again the purpose of this cup is only to get more money and I doubt that a lot of fans even watch the games.

I mean how many people watch Gilbiterra vs San Marino? like 5k people in whole Europe?  

Surprisingly England lost at home against Greece.

It such a shame that England had to lose to Greece with all the players they have, this is the new manager’s first game so it is disappointing to lose to Greece but it is understandable that it’s just his first game so he would get better.

From the lineup i knew somethings will go wrong because of how he played some players off position, playing all of Saka, Palmer and Foden at the same time is not ideal and pushing Bellingham up front was also not ideal when you have two natural strikers on the bench. Bellingham should have been somewhere in the midfield and Foden or Palmer should have been on the bench and then a striker should be in the field as well. I am sure he would have learned his mistake and will take corrections in the next game.

Greece didn't do much to get the victory tonight, they allowed England to be the favorite which they were and they tried to absorb the pressure from the 3 Lions and try as much as possible to push them back into their half. Is a shame that the home side couldn't play like they used to. I think there are some players who are not suppose to be called into the 3 Lions squad no matter how good they play in their club side. Watching England play is like watching Manchester United play week in week out, I was speechless and all I saw was disappointment and I'll keep saying it that the best England squad was back then Italy won the Euros finals and up till now England have been pretty poor in terms of performance even in front of goal.
Bellingham will always be the best in that squad and at Madrid he plays like the legend Zinedine Zidane, it pains me that his goal couldn't help them get at least a draw. Talking about the award, is still surprising honestly. Bellingham won the champions league and league title while Foden won the EPL title and best player in EPL but Cole Palmer won nothing and he got the award, hmm is still confusing how he got that award but it still doesn't change the fact that England have a messed up team.

Even though the outcome of the game wasn't what I expected considering the current form of Italy I must commend them for having an excellent performance tonight. Italy dominated the game from the beginning of the game until when L. Pellegrini was sent out they already scored two goals and they were still playing better than Belgium but the red card affected Italy and made them to fall back instead of the attacking formation started the game with.

I don't think Italy should be considered as the lucky team after 2:2 draw I think the Belgium team was lucky to have had the advantage of playing with 11 players while Italy were one man down, you could still observe that the ball possession did not change much just that Belgium players were using the advantage of the one man down to attack more while Italy players tried to defend their goals.

I did not expect to see such a result in this match. The England team was very strong. I don't think the Greece team is that strong. I didn't even imagine that Greece would win against a big team like England. But in the end England lost the match by 2-1. Although England was a bit unlucky in this match. Because Greece scored their second goal after 90 minutes.

But I will say I expected a better performance from England. England should have dominated the entire match. But England's players cannot dominate the entire match. England players were able to have 64% ball possession. However, the team made only 12 shots in the entire match. Only two of these shots were on target. On the other hand, Greece's players had only 36% ball possession and managed to make 12 shots. I would say that England lost this match due to poor performance of attacking players.
