Portugal played well against Croatia and from the beginning of the match you will notice that Portugal came into the game with full confidence that they were going to play very and score goals, the first goal of Portugal was scored by Dalot and that was an amazing goal, and the mighty Ronaldo score the second goal for Portugal and make it 2:0, Portugal and Croatia match end in the first half of the match because both teams score goals in the first half of the match and the second half no any team could able to score goal again.

Poland beat Scotland 3:2 and for me, the match was very tough because Poland was winning the game from the first half 2:0 and after coming for the second half Scotland changed the game and scored goals to make it 2:2 and before the match ended Poland had a penalty and win the game, Poland win the game with a penalty because they play two penalties in the match, Scotland deserves credit in the match and they are the best team in yesterday game.

They deserve to celebrate as champions, I know it’s only against Liechtenstein but they finally won a competitive game.

San Marino has a population of under 35,000 so they don’t have a lot of choice really when looking for talent, when you consider how many of that 35,000 is actually 18-40 aged males. I am happy for them.

Portugal managed to win against Croatia, which was again not even close to a serious team, and only goalkeeper Livakovic saved them from a heavy defeat with several great saves. Ronlado played a solid game and scored a very nice goal when he managed to completely outwit the Croatian defense, obviously a man of almost 40 years has more speed than a Gvardiol who is almost half his age.

Poland managed to beat Scotland as a guest, although it should be emphasized that even two penalty kicks helped them in this, the second one in the 7th minute of stoppage time in the second half. This confirms that the Scots are obviously the weakest in this group, and on Sunday, Poland will visit Croatia, so we will see which team will fight for the second place in the group.

As far as I know, Croatia will change the game system and look for some new solutions, but if they don't solve their impotent attack and improve their defense, Poland will see it as a new opportunity to claim points.

Well, our expectations came true, Portugal managed to beat Croatia with a score of Portugal 2 - 1 Croatia, no Croatian players scored because all three goals were scored by Portuguese players. This match was also not what i expected, i think that Portugal should be able to win by a large margin, for example 3 - 1 or 4 - 2 considering that Croatia has high attacking potential.

Luka Jović had a really really good chance to stun the world:

 Ronaldo was able to get his 900th goal for club and country when he netted Portugal's second goal thanks to a beautiful assist from Nuno Mendes and I think this action alone has helped to ward off critics. Even though Portugal were the favorites to win last night, I still had the belief that Croatia could come back and draw the game because they added pressure whenever they had the chance and if they had utilized their opportunities, they could have levelled if not won the game since Portugal sort of relaxed after getting the second goal.

The upcoming match France vs Italy will be interesting to watch.

Both of them have a bad history, France win head to head and they have advantage in this match because they will play in Paris. After I see an upset made by Serbia against Spain, I think this match would end in draw.

Italy have many good players, they're just more underrated.

Belgium international team is another I'd love to see how good they are, after last time they played in the Euros I never expected them to be eliminated that quick but tonight's game is another chapter. Israel a new opponent to test their strength and I believe that Belgium has every tools to demolish the Israel national team, they can't withstand the pressure of Lukaku and his colleagues in the attacking department even the midfield general KDB, the Israel side can only defend but they can't do it for very long before they break their defense. The game is going to be a one sided affair which I expect to see more than 3 goals in this game.

Ronaldo indeed is a player of so many ability and am as suprised as you are because the man just keeps driving and even scoring still. I believe if there is one thing I would love to see from him is for him to actually break and clinch that 1000th goal mark I mean it's not an easy task and you don't see players achieving such height everyday. I think the man still has some couple years to play and won't be surprised if he actually gets that.

I lost this bet too, and I don't think it is just us. It was not expected based on the reputation that Spain have built for themselves recently and the attackers they have; it just seemed to me like Spain did not take the game very seriously, plus with Rodri's absence, their midfield had little defensive presence, and I should have considered that before making a single bet on only the Spain game, thinking they should be able to win the game even if it was just by a goal.

I don't follow the Nations League. I don't find it interesting and the teams don't even put in their all. It s just like a glorified friendly match that should just be a friendly. They just finished the Euros about a month or so ago, whats the point of another nations league again?
I did bet on Spain though and I lost my bet, more reason for me to be against the Nations League. 


Funny enough, Liechtenstein hasn't won a game since 2021. Their last win came in 2020 and guess who the win was against? Let's see if San Marino can build on that momentum and get a win from Gibraltar in their next nations league fixture.

Croatia without doubt is Portugal's biggest rivalry in the Nations League Group 1 but they were able to get  the all important three points against the Croatians to move to second position of the group. Portugal just like Poland are won their opening game of the competition but Poland are the top because of their superior goal difference. For Croatia, I think they can still bounce back in to the competition since they have more matches to play against weaker opponents. Without doubt, Portugal is the favorites to make it to the next round of Nations League from their group.

When I saw the result I was like oh they won a game? because I didn't see them winning any time. Once I saw their opponent was Liechtenstein I understand how they managed to win the game. But honestly I didn't expect this match to be their first victory ever!

Scotland were close to get a point from that match but they lost that opportunity at the very end of the game unfortunately.

Spain would have also lost today if Serbia used the chances they were able to create. Spain were very poor, they left a lot of spaces behind while trying to put pressure on the Serbian Back-line, and Serbia were ready to counter attack. Spain had all the possession in the game but Serbia had the better opportunity to win the game, so the reason why I think they will look back at the results from this game and regret because they should have gotten all points needed, and make a record beating the European Champions who looked very poor in their performance today.

San Marino won an official match for the first time in its history. San Marino beat Liechtenstein 1-0 tonight.
This win is a huge win for the guys because they have never experienced this feeling before. They celebrated as if they were champions.

Portugal won their first match in the group by beating their strong opponent Croatia 2-1.
Poland won the match 3-2 with a goal scored in the last minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a true definition of a legend. He is always doing the right thing at the right time and his age is not more a restriction towards achieving another milestone by him. He always like creating records despite knowing that he is old, but he wanted to keep accumulating more records in goal scoring and contributions to his country.

He has led the team to win some trophies and he is one of the oldest player in the Portuguese squad and he will keep playing until he is able to play in the next coming World Cup.

Both of their games looks very matured both Portugal and Croatia and a lot of pressure have been coming from Portugal than it is coming from Croatia and its been long i watched Rolando play since all attention are always on the primer league and champions league then the la liga and watching him play in tonight game just makes everything more interesting to watch because Ronaldo will always be Ronaldo, always very confidence as usual and just seven minutes of the game their was already a goal and ronaldo also scored the second goal with other attempts that were coming from him. and Croatia are also doing everything possible to equalize, the defense of Portugal is quite very impressive and making it hard for Croatia to actual penetrate their goal post.

Croatia games look different compare to what they have been playing years back and even when Portugal is playing them they are still trying to play cool, they aint panicking at all and if Portugal is not careful they might equalize and to me it will be a slap on the face of Portugal because they have been playing 2 zero when diago scored an own goal if not Croatia would not have been able to score any goal,  and portugal have a good resources and they have changed ronaldo and i love the fact that his the one leading the squad others are still given the chance to also play and ronaldo have actually have  a good time in his career as a footballer and even if he does not play football again his still have given him self that satisfaction.

That man Ronaldo has already set some records that the young stars will have to play for so long to equal as he celebrated his 900th career goals in grand style tonight against Crotia. I think Ronaldo has now understood football so well that he finds it very easy to keep the past results aside and focus on the present games, you could see him talk about the European Championship after his country was eliminated by France but he was encouraged and motivated to focus on the next competition which is why his team is doing so well in this game tonight.

With the kind of strength he has shown in the national team I doubt it he's hanging his boot soon so he could become the oldest active player in the history of football because that guy is not aging at all he still has the strength to play till full-time of every game, hoping to see him win a trophy for his country again before retiring from the national team.

I think this man will break records, such as the oldest player to play in the national team and score a goal, and leave the goal of a record that will be difficult to break to the football player who will come after him.
The European Championship has passed, the man is still playing in the national team and scoring goals.
Even though the European Championship was bad for him, he still did not say that the national team was over for me. If he continues like this, he will play until he is 45. Unless he experiences negativities such as injury problems.
The man is a true living example and a very good professional.

The game is going as expected Portugal are currently leading with 2-1, Portugal are also dominating the entire game and all the three goals have been scored by two people in the same country, Cristiano Ronaldo recorded his 900th goals of his career both the club and the country make him the highest goals scorer of all time that have all his goals on record, and he is look forward to make it 1000 goals which I believe he is capable of achieving that aim because of this consistency in scoring goals, Cristiano have prove to become the only player in the history of football to reach 900th career goals, here is the break down of his goals, Real Madrid- 450, Man Utd - 145, Juventus - 101, Sporting - 5, Al-Nassr- 68, Portugal- 131
