Will we see a big upset in Ireland vs England too? both of them didn't have good results and Ireland never beat England so far.

Although England is the favorite, Ireland shouldn’t be written off despite their struggles in Euro qualification. Additionally, many Irish players compete in the English leagues.
England reached the Euro final but displayed an unconvincing performance, losing to Spain. The team is currently under the temporary management of Lee Carsley. England is certainly stronger, but an easy victory is unlikely due to the motivation and historic rivalry between the teams. My prediction: a hard-fought win for England, with a score of 1-0 or 2-1.

I still think this is just another money grab from UEFA, trying to cram as many matches a possible in their calendar and earn more from tv rights and so on!
That's without a doubt what this is all about. They didn't like countries and players not taking friendly games seriously, so they created this nonsense and added some incentive.

It's funny how in Croatia no one really cared about the Nations League when we were shit. But the moment we started playing well and managed to reach the final tournament, it suddenly became important to win it (which we didn't).

The only thing I care tonight is Havertz scoring vs Hungary as I need it for BSFLGrin

I still think this is just another money grab from UEFA, trying to cram as many matches a possible in their calendar and earn more from tv rights and so on!

Still can't wrap my head around stuff like a match between Luxemburg and Belarus sending one team to group B and one to group D, while a team that gets beaten by the Czech Republic and Englan ends up in group C, if you're going to make at about promotions and relegations just make it another championship with 30 games with each team playing against every single other in the league and have 3 football matches a day one for the nation league, one for the national clubs, one for the uefa clubs and so on!

Well, at least we had a marvelous event, San Marino managed to get their first win in a fierce match against Liechtenstein and right now we can enjoy these four battling for...whatever

For today, I would single out the match between Ireland and England because of their mutual rivalry.

I was surprised to hear that in nearly a century they only played 16 times and that this is their first non-friendly game in 33 years!

Main game tonight is obviously France - Italy. Don't know, I'm surprised or not that bookmakers are giving such low odds for France win. Yeah, they're great, but Italy is criminally underrated IMO.

France vs Italy is definitely the match of the night, but we'll be watching Wales game. Grin I wonder what Türkiye will do against Wales. Craig Bellamy spoke ambitiously before the match. But Türkiye's new squad selection looks very good and balanced. It remains to be seen how the team will react after the Euro 24. In the Nations League we need to qualify for League A. We are the better team against Iceland, Montenegro and Wales. Of course, being better doesn't mean anything unless it's reflected in the score. I expect a win today in a difficult away game. I don't think Türkiye will play for a draw.
Italy has not been performing well recently which is why before the start of the France vs Italy match everyone was in favor of France and many bet on France but the result went completely in favor of Italy. Against Italy, France lost by a huge margin of three goals to one. But there was no happy ending for those who watched the early game especially the France supporters as Barcola scored the first goal for France after just one minute and it was their last goal of the entire match.

After just one minute of scoring, many thought that Italy would be beaten by France by a large margin, but from the 30th minute it was full time in Italy's favor and they managed to put three balls into France's net from the 30th minute to full time. As a result, Italy secured an easy win against France.

yesterday Italy played a decidedly perfect match, tactically and everything, let's say that the result wasn't even right that initial goal shouldn't even have been there but they took it otherwise the match could have ended easily 3-0, Italy they didn't come out of the last European Championship well and let's also say that the nation league is worth very little in international terms, but what they did was play a beautiful match and play at very high levels!
There are many nuances here, France also did not show the best game at the Euro, especially regarding its attack, but there are also different opinions regarding the League of Nations, that teams do not take this tournament as seriously as other more prestigious tournaments. But it does not seem that France wanted to lose to Italy like that, it was just a very bad day for the French defense, because lately they were saved by a good game in defense, and yesterday it did not help.
The defense tried their best, but it wasn't near enough. The power from the Italian midfield was beast inclined, they overpowered the French defense many times and only converted three.

France on the other hand would be said to have underperformed, they might be said to have underestimated Italy in that match, but the truth is that Italy came prepared and rendered their tactics futile. I could visibly see the frustration in the face of Mbappe when the third goal was registered. It's all good the points to Italy and congratulations to them.

I'm today's match, I'll prefer that H. Kane is substituted in the match, Ollie Watkins should be started to put up a vibrant fight from the beginning and be able to aid the midfield in macking. Kane doesn't do much rather than score with precision, but I think beating Ireland would need more than that up front. They're my favorites actually, but Ireland would not be so easy.

Türkiye could have beaten Wales away if there were only 10 players left.
Even after being down to 10 players, I saw that he played good football defensively.
They got 1 point from this away game and now there is an Iceland match in Turkey on Monday. They will most likely beat Iceland very easily, but Iceland is a rival that is opposite to Turkey in terms of football. The favorite is by far Türkiye, but there may be a surprise in the outcome. For example, like togetherness.
How possible is it for Turkiye to beat Iceland very easily? Have you checked on their head-to-head statistics before you draw your conclusion of Turkiye beating Iceland very easily? For your notice, Turkiye has only won Iceland once, while Iceland has won Turkiye about four times with a draw match that happened in 2019(their last meeting). However, we don't know which team will take the 3 points home. For the Group 4 table, Iceland is currently topping the table with 3 points, Turkiye and Wales 1 point, and Montenegro with 0 points

It was very pleasant to watch Italy yesterday. I got bored while watching the Wales v Turkey match and switched to France v Italy.  Tongue  Italy were amazing and I assume nobody expected them to get such a clear win there.

Have you watched Dimarco's goal by the way? If you haven't it was a great work between him and Tonali. I'm leaving the link for the goal for the ones haven't watched yet:

https://www.uefa.com/uefanationsleague/video/0291-1bcb13d76256-2f024cbc253b-1000--watch-dimarco-s-italy-stunner/

The Nations League is really full of surprises... France are normally one of the best defense teams but here they got destroyed. Some big teams don't concentrate on this tournament as much as a Euro or World Cup.

Actually I didn't enjoy the game of the Turkish national team today, even when the team was not deficient, Wales did not let them play in the first 20 minutes, the Welsh team was constantly under pressure. Wales had the upper hand throughout the match, they actually should have beaten Turkey in this state. They played very comfortably and created chances. The biggest problem in Turkey is the formation problem in terms of attack.
Türkiye played not as well as when they played at the Euros. And they also had difficulties because they had to play with 10 players in the match. I think they were lucky because they only got a draw and didn't lose. But in the next match, Türkiye must be able to win against Iceland. Because in the next match Türkiye will be the host because it will compete at the Gürsel Aksel Stadium.

For today's match, what I will watch is the Ireland vs England match. Of course I will favorite England. Because I hope England can go far in the national league. because England should have much better squad depth than Ireland.

Yeah it was quite a surprise when France was beaten 3-1 by Italy even though France had already scored a goal first but that didn't make Italy lose concentration, based on statistics Italy played quite well and had more chances and they really take advantage of it. There have indeed been many surprises in the Nations League so far some favorite teams are unable to win or even lose and I wouldn't be surprised if there were another surprise like today's match.

Today we have 9 matches and some of the favorite teams are there like Ireland vs England or Germany vs Hungary well, there is no guarantee that England and Germany will win and I would avoid betting on the 1x2 moneyline because my previous 2 bets lost, but if you want to take a risky bet then you can make a parlay bet for these 2 teams. But honestly I'm a little doubtful about England somehow i think they just played a draw, i hope i'm wrong.

This competition does not seem to be too important for the French, let's remember that last season in this competition they lost on their home field to Croatia, which was actually much more dangerous then today. What has also been shown this time is that the teams that have more individually better players do not always win in sports, because sometimes motivation is a decisive factor.

For today, I would single out the match between Ireland and England because of their mutual rivalry. The English are of course the big favorites, but in the past Ireland knew how to put up a lot of resistance, let's hope that they will be a tough nut to crack today.

Very strange games and results in today amtches for the National league competition.

What happen with France? They started in a super way wining the game since the begining of it and ended up losing it badly against a not so good Italy, and in the other side.... what is this Italy? Always the same they do games like this and in the next one they drop points against some shit national team.

And in low tier games.... what made Norway always be so shit having super players like Haaland Odegard Sorloth ? How you cant score a single goal against a super weak Kazajthan?

I was surprised by seeing the game of France against Italy result, to be honest, I didn't expect France to lose to Italy like that and even if they wanted to lose it should not be this way by conceding 3 goals, France is the one that first score an opening goal in just a second when the game start, France has not been playing good since the beginning of the Euros and I think this will affect them in the world cup if they did not find the solution to the problem, although Italy is a very strong country that has many young talented player's but France performances in the game is too poor.

Concerning Norway's performance, I think Norway is just a country that has many good players but the players don't know how to play for their country, the problem with Norway's performance may be from the coach or the players, but I think the problem will be from the coach because having Haaland, Odegard and Sorloth on a team and can't score a goal in a match doesn't make sense, Norway and France need to solve the problems in the team if not they will suffer in the world cup.

Sometimes statistics do not affect the result. For example France vs Italy. First half, 50:50. Second half 60:40. The final result, France lost and Italy could solve something that has never been solved as you say when playing in Paris.
Barcola with his early goal for France, but it was unimaginable that they had to give up 1-3 at the end of the match.

70 years of not winning in Italy, so for France the defeat against Italy was the first after losing to Spain in the semifinals of UERO 2024.

To be honest, I thought that after the disastrous Euro, Spalletti would leave his post as head coach, but I see that he is still working with the national team. The beginning of the match was shocking, the first minute of the match, a mistake in the back pass and Barcola opens the scoring, at first it seemed that for Italy it would end with another failure. But already in the 5th minute, Italy could have equalized the score (the crossbar prevented it). In the 30th minute, Italy equalized the score, with a very beautiful shot, and at the end of the first half, Italy and France exchanged several shots, but no goals.

The beginning of the second half was dictated by Italy, several good attacks and they went ahead in a few minutes. It is surprising that France could hardly create anything after conceding the second, and Italy continued to attack and brought the score to 1-3. I did not expect the match to end like that, especially after such a terrible start, and by the way, this is another match in which Mbappe was almost invisible.

Well, you can call it all you wish, but Italy were really beasts of the night, France dished out an early goal opener in less than 7 minutes, Italy responded three good times to totally destroy France in all it's might. Even mbappe was both confused and surprised at the power of the Italian midfield chocking every France offensive. Their counter attacks couldn't work like always that yesterday.

Looks like Italy coach studied their pattern of football thoroughly before engaging them to weaken their strongholds. Nice result for Italy yesterday night. I'm really glad France could taste humiliation even if it's just a little bit.

I'm so happy to see Italy stepping up to face France and not letting them being bullied by the big names or whatever France have got. Nice winning from Italy, I believe this will give them a positive energy to get back in the next game and I hope they bring this same force they gave France national team. I was expecting the game to end in a draw but the whole thing changed when I saw 1-2, and the way Spalletti handled the team is very different from the team we saw at the last Euros, they came all out and never sit back for their opponent to come attacking while they defend, rather they did both (defending and attacking).
As for another shocker I don't think it will happen today, maybe it will happen tomorrow and the England game is going to be hard for Ireland because England wasn't happy with their last outing, that final they lost hasn't left their memory and they have to unleash their anger on Ireland that's if they can perform better than the awful display we saw in the competition.

Taking into consideration that Nazionale italiana have not won in Paris for 70 years, today is a massive clap back at the France team. The Italian players have broken free of France staying unbeaten to them, with 3 goals to 1.
That's it!
The best moment to always remember and note! how cool Cool

Source: FIRST win vs France in Paris since 1954 - 70 YEARS

Hats off to Spalletti, it was a very tough game for them, and it was a surprising result for many. Really, hats off to how Spalletti brought the Italian team to be this good at the start.

But indeed, League A Group 2, is one of the hell groups, only Israel is probably not too much considered.

Turkey played badly, I didn't like it at all. They made us watch a very unpleasant match.

Montella is still playing a team without a striker, this guy should stop now.
Barış Alper is not a striker, you can't get performance from this guy there. This guy should play on the right wing, everyone knows that.
We were down to 10 men in the last 30 minutes. Getting 1 point is good in this respect.
