France looked terrible but to be fair France was terrible at euro too I believe, they got to finals but they were terrible all the way there, scored basically no goals during active game, just a few. I believe France could be much better with another manager.
I also have the believe that France will perform far better when they work with a better coach than they have now. France has great players so it is not a problem for France as they got some of the most successful players in their national team. What they need to do now is to work on their management skills and see to the best of how the team can be well managed to get the right position in the tournament.
Italy seems quite inconsistent, like win euro, fail for world cup, win against France easily, things look like they are great one day, terrible at another, seems like they keep being either great or terrible, no middleground. I think it's quite clear to say that we are going to end up with Italy finally being good eventually, but it seems like it's not going to be right away. If they can keep this type of talent going, they could actually do fine, should be able to win something decent, once again.

The temporary score of the first half is 1-0 for Germany victory, Niclas Fullkrug managed to score a goal in the 27th minute, and in terms of game statistics Germany is superior in all aspects. I have been saying for months that it was a serious mistake to keep Didier Deschamps as France's national coach after the World Cup. I honestly don't see him bringing the same good results as in the past. The French Football Federation made a mistake by keeping Didier Deschamps and France has not been consistent in friendly matches and Nations League matches. I don't bet on France in Nations League matches because they lose even against weak opponents. If they had chosen Zidane as coach they would have made a better choice.

France only scored just a goal in open play in the Euros that shows that their creativity is very bad and just yesterday they were able to score from open play, making it 2 goals from open play in 7 games, I think that very bad for a team having such qualities of players. Well Norway player out there heart heart yesterday but just that somedays it not just meant to be, chances were created and even Halland was unlucky because he went on to hit the woodwork when he should have scored. They are a good team and they will win matches that I'm sure of.
