alright, here the results:
newest ufasoft miner: 22.45 MHash/s
newest pooler-cpuminer: 28.17 MHash/s

alright, so ur the leading force now Tongue
Those are pretty good results.I wish I got those on my (main) PC instead of only ~11Mhash/s on the Core i7 920 CPU.Where can I download the new Ufasoft miner? I prefer this as it's easier for me to setup. What CPU is that running on? and what overclock is used on that CPU?

Thanks again everyone.  Ufasoft seems to be working fine for me now.  I guess something had gotten corrupted when I lost my Internet connection that first time it was working.  Anyway, now I have Ufasoft working and while I was working on it I also got cgminer up and working.  It does look like Ufasoft is faster.  Now for the next problem.  I seem to be having problems with the miners and my modem.  See https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/modem-problems-93382 for that one.  It is labeled Modem problems under mining-hardware.  Thanks again.

ufasoft's miner is the fastest for CPUs at the moment.

What other miners have you tried?
My fork of cpuminer is giving me better results, for both SHA-256d and scrypt.

Yes, I know that and I have been trying a couple of miners I have set up.  I deleted and reinstalled and after getting the blocks caught up I have got it to work again.  Now hopefully it will stay running.  I am keeping my fingers crossed and I am curious to see how my speed compares with the cgminer since I got it working while working on this.  Thanks to everyone for your help.

Thanks guys.  Kentrolla, I tried what you said but it didn't work.  I tried it exactly like you said and with the port added at the end of the pool URl  :8332.  Neither way worked.  They did connect however as it said started mining and showed both my video cards, both bitforce singles and the cpu.  Then it would stop and I would get the pop up that said bitcoin miner has stopped working.  It seems especially odd since it did work one time for a little while until my Internet connection went out.  I am wondering if some files might have got corrupted when that happened.  I an thinking about uninstalling and then reinstalling Ufasoft to see if that has any affect.  Other than that I have no ideas.  I did get the cgminer working in the meantime with everything.  I am seeing 2000-2800 mh/s with it generally staying aroung 2000-2100 mh/s.  So I am getting to mine and use my new bitforce singles.  I would still like to figure out what is going on with Ufasoft and get it working so any ideas are appreciated.

non-english Winblows do have other names, as example i think its "Programme" in germany, therefore u dont have to escape it.
it wasnt an offense, i just dislike it when someone is teaching/telling someone incorrect stuff, this leads only to problems.

greetings

Oh, you didn't offend at all. It took me forever to figure out how to get cgminer to work in the beginning. I was trying to be helpful but with limited knowledge about it myself. I appreciate the correction.

Catalog Websites
I tried that and I got "Mining for http://username:[email protected]:8332
Using CPU (2 threads), Bit Force Unit, Bit Force Unit, Barts GPU, Barts GPU
                                HTTP 403: Forbidden
                                0 kHash/s               2 HTTP 403: BForbidden
arts GPUs, 2 BitForce Units, 2 CPU threads"
after that it stops and I get a pop up box that says bitcoin miner stopped working

If I have the "s where I said I just get the Using line and don't get the 403 lines and then it stops and the pop up says that bitcoin miner has stopped working.
try "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ufasoft\Coin\bitcoin-miner-64.exe" -o http://pool.bitclockers.com -u username -p password -a 5 -v

you have to use " since hes escaping spaces in "Program Files (x86)", otherwise Files and (x86) are sent as parameters to the program C:\Program

@pirate1
did you replace username and password? http 403 is forbidden in the meaning of authentication failed (username or password wrong)

K1773R, I did not know that and the very similar parameters that I use in cgminer do not require the "" for some reason so I thought that was the problem. At the time the 403 error wasn't mentioned. I Thanks for the explanation. I may need it sometime too.

They worked once and the same ones work with cgminer and guiminer.  I have downloaded both of them and got them working with my GPUs since all of this happened.  I still haven't figured out how to make them work with the bitforce singles but I really want to get Ufasoft working.

Maybe it doesn't like the username and password you are using?

Well I finally got it to work briefly.  I did read all the rest of the thread.  Anyway I kept playing with it and trying different ways of connecting to my pool and finally got one to work.  I was getting about 2000 mh/s and it went along for a while until my Internet got interrupted.  When it came back on I can no longer get it to work.  I will start it and the bitcoin miner will quit and I get a message saying so.  I am inputting the same thing that worked before and can't figure out what is going wrong.  What I am trying is C:\"Program Files (x86)"\Ufasoft\Coin\bitcoin-miner-64.exe -a 5 -v -o http://username:[email protected]:8332.  It will start and then stop before it actually starts hashing and I get a message that bitcoin miner has stopped working.  I am sorry to be asking such noob questions but I would like to get this working.
The quotes go like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ufasoft\Coin\bitcoin-miner-64.exe" -a 5 -v -o http://username:[email protected]:8332

Nope, if I take out the quotes it doesn't recognize Program.  With the quotes I can get the -h for the help menu but not without them.  I am running it from command line as every time I just click on the bitcoin-miner-64.exe in the folder the command line will flash up and then I get the message that bitcoin miner has stopped.  I was running it from command line when it worked for me before.  I don't understand why it worked once but not again.

pirate1,

The "" should not be there. Remove them and I think it will work
