Been watching the breakdowns and predictions of Shillan & Duffy since I'm hooked on what they are saying which I might try parlaying just 3 or 5 picks. Here are their picks. But there are some fights they both disagree on which one. They both have different views on the fighters.

Dana White who has been friends with the Orange man Donald J. Trump for nearly 30 years has not mentioned anything about what has happened this past weekend.
As for the last fight night he was not available to do the post fight press conference as he usually does since he was on vacation in Italy from what I recall hearing from someone on a random sports channel mentioned.
So once again: Do your own research as we are all grown a$$ men here! Wink

There was some rumblings that Trump was going to appear at the Denver UFC event just hours after getting shot.
But of course that was debunked and never transpired as a factual occurrence of happening.
He might be a bad a$$ guy but I don't think he would want to defy lady luck twice in one day.

Flowers is all just showboating but tapped when triangled. The Prelim fights have more finished fights than the main card but the FN is Silva vs Dobber where Dobber got the eyebrow cut because of the elbow.
It was said Denver is the adoptive city of Rose Namajunas in the interview after the fight. Which makes sense I guess that it was her being the replacement for Maycee Barbers.

Tuporia vs Holloway is going to be a big fight and as shown seems to be held in Abudabi or not? Putting that BMF belt on the line will make it even bigger. The promo image don't show Max's belt, I guess not.

Holloway gonna be a champ again but as they said, Tuporia can mix his fight plan to beat Max. This fight is opposite to Merab vs Sean where Merab could be an easy target for Sean. Tuporia is fast and might easily take down Max and bring that fight over and over to the ground.

She took too long pacing. She knows it and she admitted it. Maybe she thought it was going to be a long fight and that is why she never went too aggressive. While pacing you must also let the opponent know that you are there. She also said she wanted to be back, and that she wouldn't take too long to rest.
The talent is there and I think she just didn't manage the time perfectly. Also, Namajunas is dominating her on takedown attempts, and that cannot happen the next time they meet or even for other opponents.
Now, that ended her long winning streak.

Looks like they added Evan Elder vs Darrius Flowers to the early prelims as it is showing as the first bout now.

Fighters being friends and not fighting kills the event that Dana would want to hype. He wants fighters to troll each other to sell more tickets, if the fight doesn't make sold-out tickets that's bad news. So it's true Dana likes Conor trash-talking because he can sell to fill the Apex.

3 days before the event they added Evan Elder vs Darrius Flowers at 170, based on their records both are not performing well in UFC. But yup brave souls. Probably the last fight for the loser between the two.

And Cortez cuts her hair for the weight yet she grabs the hair while they measure her. But it helped Grin

I'd skip the event but I will watch.

Apparently, that's true. It's not for everyone and MMA is hard to follow especially because I just watch them on TV. And TV is the easiest to waste time, most of the stuff I watch is just politics in my country and wars in different parts of the world. UFC is probably the last on my list to watch. I can only see news when the feed of Bisping and Sonnen appears on my phone.

Most MMA channels don't talk about these women in UFC as well. I checked Foirot's wiki 7-0 and it's as impressive as Cortez but they both haven't fought a title shot in UFC.

Manon Fiorot has fought Erin Blanchfield and she has become no.2 in her division's ranking after Alexa Grasso who is the champion and Valentina Shevchenko who is no.1. Also, all of the events that uncle Dana has organized are always there to give the fans something to watch, however, in the UFC there is also something called rankings eheheh. Uncle Dana cannot create all events to be from the high rankings, this would be headshaking.

Didn't look at the odds. Many users think Tracy will win the fight and I thought Rose was the underdog. She's always the underdog in many of her fights and Tracy has few loss than hers.

UFC does shaft some fighters even Rose didn't get the opportunity to fight the higher rank. Say Rose vs Shevchenko, which if she wins, she could get a title shot. But even Manon Fiorot isn't getting that fight either. Dana saves their fight in the country they are residing in, if the fight will be in UK for example I guess they can invite Manon Fiorot from France. But her being a champ, is something else.
