Well, I think the odds were on Adesanya's side because he is still winning in those times he owns the rounds and dominating them, even though there are times that Alex Pereira was constantly forwarding to put him to the corner, he always finds a way to trap Pereira with those right and left straight just like in the 1st fight, for me I think people are seeing a chance for Israel Adesanya to redeeming himself, and right now seeing Israel Adesanya not breaking his will, and accepting his lost to Alex Pereira, he is accepting to be a challenger,

And Pretty Alex Pereira is not as invincible as all other fighters things and he is not that scary if you look at his fighting records he is not unbeatable because he certainly still has losses, in his amateur kickboxing career he lost to Sergej Maslobojev, in his Professional Kickboxing career he got plenty more Jason Wilnis, (that is 2 losses) César Almeida, Artem Levin, Artur Kyshenko, Yousri Belgaroui, and his rematch with Artem Vakhitov, and in his debut, to MMA he lost to Quemuel Ottoni, with a rear-naked choke
Submission here is the video for those losses and the UFC 287 countdown,

I also think the same Israel Adesanya really is dominating their fight and for good reasons, he is way more experienced than Pereira with the MMA, he is the champion, and his striking was better than Alex Pereira, Alex Pereira has better boxing than Adesanya's but watching the fight over and over Israel Adesanya was dominating the jab, just like what he did in their kickboxing match it repeats itself in their fight in the UFC, and this is the same the fight was the same as their fight in the precious ones, a lot needs to take note on that, we need to look further and deep dive the things Adesanya is dominating withing those grounds of their fight,

Seeing those videos of the fight I was really amused that there is a chance for Adesanya to win, in Alex Pereira's rematch with Artem Vakhitov Alex Pereira won against Artem Vakhitov in their 1st match while their rematch Artem Vakhitov found a way in winning against Pereira surely I think that is a weakness for Peraira and looking his mindset for what is going on with his mind while having a rematch with Artem Vakhitov I think Israel Adesanya can be capitalized that in his advantage, and I can feel that Adesanya can surely win in their rematch,

WOW! Israel Adesanya is still the favorite to win I really thought that the odds will be siding for Pereira this time it was not, Israel Adesanya is still the favorite, and we are seeing an Underdog champion, I never expected even in Sportsbet Adesanya is still the favorite, well pretty much I am excited on what may happen right now, some rematch where the champion has lost to the challenger the recent champion can not reclaim his belt anymore because some champion have let their defeat gets into their head so much that they think that they are dominant towards the fight and not admitting their lost but for Israel Adesanya, he is completely OK with his lost and wants to reclaim his title so much as a challenger because there are some recent champion mindset that they think that they are still the champion and that 1st fight was just a fluke, but Adesanya is not treating Pereira that way, he is treating him as a true champion, that is why he is preparing for this fight so eagerly,

A very funny video is circulating on Twitter showing him harassing Francis Ngannou sexually during the fight. Some people claim it's Ngannou's breath that's actually moving his shorts, but it's very strange and surprising. I hope for him it's the right explanation though. Anyway it would be a very good fool for the 1st April, more funny than this hard and boring captcha at least lol Cheesy

WOW! I have never seen that before, It was twitching itching to get out I bet UFC babes that notice that would surely want a taste of the Bon Gaming! no pun intended it was hilarious that it keeps on moving like that, but I am not interested in that kind of thing I am here for the girls but again, Francis Ngannou might have seen it and tried striking it, it was really a bad impression for him seeing that, Bon Gaming doesn't were undergarments so you could see it twitching like that,

But Moving on, I really wish Francis Ngannou is still in the UFC but that is his decision to get out of the UFC and be free as he wishes he is now out of action regarding the Heavyweight inside the UFC, it is a bummer that we would not likely be going to see Jon Jones VS Francis Ngannou fight,

Well, at 1st I was really annoyed I got to admit that the flappy bird game was really a hard game for me but upon practicing the game I learned how to play it and so in this post I surely solved the captcha, but with the 50 over coins that was really difficult,

We are going through a very dire event and many are really anticipating this fight, well we can not get to watch it this week because UFC is on Hiatus but next week will be the UFC 287 Pereira VS Adesanya here is the list and I have provided Sportbets.io odds,

UFC 287: Pereira VS Adesanya 2

I have watched the Press Conference thanks to your link, well, like I have said highlighted in green are my picks which means I am going for Ciryl Gane, ever since his fight with Francis Ngannou I have bet on Ciryl Gane that time, and with this Press Conference I have noticed that Ciryl Gane have learned the English language, and he is speaking it now, instead of using an Interpreter, surely he has used it 1 time when he didn't understand the question but overall he is speaking in English when answering, for me definitely the hype is on Jon Jones return, but for me, Ciryl Gane looks faster and if he didn't anticipate wrestling on Francis Ngannou he is aware of Jon Jones would go on Takedowns, and as he said people are underestimating his wrestling so much well they are all wrong about it, I think this means Ciryl Gane can pull a Israel Adesanya kind of surprise,

Well, I admit I hated Jorge Masvidal, I don't know why I started disliking him when he started to show signs that he is a clout chaser and there are so many things about him that kind of odd, and that fast knockout was just a fluke because Ben Askren is a fluke, well this is just my opinion ad it is exaggerated, But for me, Gilbert Burns will surely pulverize him he will surely maul him to the ground so yeah I am more bias to Gilbert Burns,

While for the Main event for me, Israel Adesanya from watching those intense training it is clear to me that Izzy's camp now knows his issue, and they know what they need to enhance, and for Alex Pereira from training with Glover Texeira I think he is learning proper grappling and wrestling technique's from him, but this is just my take because history could clumsily repeat itself because Alex Pereira's power on his strike is undeniable, but for me, I am still for Adesanya,

@rdbase I love both clips as they also talked about the Gilbert Burns versus Jorge Masvidal fight which is the co-main event of the Adesanya vs Pereira 2 fight.
Colby Covington will be the next challenger for the welterweight title versus the champion Leon Edwards.
But these two fighters who will showcase their battle skills on April 8 will have a chance to go up in the rankings and who knows if they will fight Usman next and then have a chance for the title.
I still think they have to go through that guy first before they can reach the title fight. Cheesy

Truly big names on this UFC 287 and there's no doubt they will boost the fans and heat up the crowd before the main event take place.

For sure I think that the UFC 287 will be a heated one, especially now that Israel Adesanya is the challenger and not the champion anymore there will be mind over matter just like what Alex Pereira did in their 1st fight when he is nearly breathing and everybody thinks this is the end of him he turns the tables around, I think Israel Adesanya needs to conquer that kind of things,

And the new fighter is a young rising star in my opinion for me you guys should see this kid fighting and I am talking about Raul Rosas Jr because there is something with this kid that keeps on winning so I think you should try and watch his fight,

Fighting without eating is a road down to disaster as Khamzat had said he did it for one of his fights in the past but never again.
It was worse than suffering a debilitating injury in the octagon according to him.

That was really a terrible decision to do our body isn't really cooping up to the energy loss and you will not have enough strength to deal with wrestling and your striking will not have enough force but at least he won that fight so with the following Ramadan it will end on April 22, the call it Eidul-Fitar so Khamzat Chimaev will not accept any fight by then,

Don't know why directly after the fight Marlon Vera calls out Petr Yan in a tweet. Grin
https://www.mmamania.com/2023/3/27/23657591/ufc-san-antonio-results-whats-next-marlon-vera-loss-cory-sandhagen-espn-mma

Well, I really don't know the reason but it could be that Petr Yan has lost to Merab Dvalishvili and eventually could be a possible fight for him, or he realized he doesn't stand a chance against fighters with wrestling, but Marlon Vera truly has a potential and just like him Petr Yan could be a good match for him to get a cash fight and both of them has a slow start when fighting,

Quote from: danherbias07

Well, there's a preparation time and he may have a game plan all ready to execute in his training regimen. He won't be challenging him if he ain't sure about it. Plus, it must be done while he is in his prime. 30 years of age, is when most fighters are strong enough to keep on fighting. Take a chance, if he fails then come back stronger and not that old yet while climbing back the ladder.

Maybe his training on wrestling was not meant for Marlon Vera but was for Merab Dvalishvili all along and all he needs to do is continue that training regime and Cory Sandhagen also have the height and reach advantage than Merab Dvalishvili I really think the progress of Sandhagen will also adjust many fighters to do the same,

As for the judge's scorecards many were questioning why it was even a split decision since it was crystal clear that Sandhagen dominated Vera almost all rounds and those who scored even that one round in favor for Chito were being mostly generous.
https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/3/28/23659678/matt-brown-rips-judge-scoring-cory-sandhagen-marlon-vera-cannot-justify-that-absolutely-f-ludicrous
Thank you for the link.
I think Chris Lee's scorecards would best be compared to my own scorecards, if not round 3, I will give him round 5 where Marlon Vera tried to be more aggressive in the final minute of the fight. But I won't give him 2 rounds of win.
I am curious though if Joel Ojeda's vision is still 20-20. He better visit his ophthalmologist for a check-up.
As I research about him, it seems like he still lacks experience so I won't be as hardcore as Matt Brown saying he should find another job. The best solution for this is to not let him judge the main events and co-main events fights. It can become a disaster if ever another judge has the same bad eye as him.
This is just for me I think it is still too early for Cory Sandhagen to fight Merab Dvalishvili, because Merab Dvalishvili is a heavy wrestler, what I mean is 48 takedowns is not that easy it required a lot of stamina, which Cory Sandhagen didn't showcase it is too early in my opinion, but maybe a little training on enhancing his stamina tank, and upgrading a few tweaks on his wrestling and grappling approached then we could see a new Cory Sandhagen, but again I'd like to see Cory Sandhagen in a different fight but he truly wants Merab Dvalishvili, then I think it is good to go,

I think that Khamzat Chimaev VS Paolo Costa is in the works right now Well Khamzat Chimaev is moving to the Middleweight because of this Then I think if Colby Covington became the champion if he beats Leon Edwards then I think it is alright for Khamzat Chimaev to take the belt for him and in an interview with Ariel Helwani that Colby Covington will be an easy fight for him, and right now he isn't getting any fight yet, because it is Ramadan so Khamzat Chimaev is on fasting that  means it is a hard time for him if he accepted a fight right now without taking any food at all,
It seems that is the reason why we do not see Khamzat Chimaev inside the octagon until Ramadan ends it is fasting time for the Muslim community it will be 30 days of fasting, if I am not mistaken because it has started on March 22, and it will end on April 20, so yeah no fight for Khamzat Chimaev by then, because he will not have food intake, but Paolo Costa should be ready because after this Ramadan it will be game over for him,

I may be the worst judge if ever, I only gave Marlon Vera one round on that fight and it's not even a dominant one that I could say he really won it. You are correct, there's just no activity from him, then he got frustrated by the slippery movement of Cory, and I think he only realized it at the last 20 seconds of the 5th round when he became so aggressive which we all know is too late.
We could say Sandhagen really dominated Vera. No questions, this guy has a greater goal ahead.

I think we have the same judgment about the fight I think it should be a majority decision win for Cory Sandhagen because if not it is likely a robbery even though Cory Sandhagen won, it was a split decision meaning it was a close fight which is not the case, even Dana White will surely agree with us, he even implies that the judge that scores a lot for Marlon Vera should not be allowed to judge next time, I think it is too late now, the damage has already been done, I think there are many fights that already have suffered the same fate as this one,

I agree with the fan there, make it happen, that's what the fans want so give it to them and I do believe Cory Sandhagen is ready too because he didn't hesitate at the post-fight interview, credits to him for challenging the top guy after the fight with Vera, some would say in their press con, "they will take a rest first then think". I mean, he badly wants to have a title shot so this is the faster way to be seen by the champion and possibly become a title contender.

Marlon Vera fight which I currently have on the UFC Fight Pass playing to rewatch the fight it was a disappointing loss but he didn't do much during the entire fight. First and second round was Cory's I think Vera won one or two rounds after that. But Sandhagen just looked more active and shooting those takedowns to win the fight. Even Marlon's coach in the corner kept telling him inbetween rounds he had to start fighting.

Holly looked in great shape and beat her opponent quite easily even though it went the distance. There was no doubt she was going to win with her ground game. But I do agree with you, she is getting quite old so she only has a few more years but hearing she has another 5 fights to go so to close her contract is something unusual to hear.

I actually caught Ronda Rousey's very first fight at UFC 3 when she beat Miesha Tate for her first title win on UFC 24/7 fight pass today.
That was so long ago and to think Holm beat her to win the championship is very impressive the way she was the armbar master back in 2016 onwards.

Actually, Holly Holm did a great job in returning back, and just like she said she has evolved her style and added wrestling and grappling to the mix, and I think on her long absence in the UFC she has surely been preparing for a comeback, she now knows what she lacks and have trained for it a long time, and I think she has the dedication in coming back for the belt I just think that is her target returning in the UFC, I also catch glimpses on Ronda Rousey aswell and Holly Holm was the 1st fighter who gives her the Loss,

Cory Sandhagen just like Holly Holm is a different fighter with his wrestling now, I just don't see him winning against Marlon Vera but that new style he has surely is Marlon Vera's weakness and I really know that Marlon Vera has a slow pace starting the fight and Cory Sandhagen exploited that to give him advantage on the scores, I really think that Sandhagen has won the majority of rounds he should have won a majority decision and again the Judges have busted it again, so Dana White was really concern and frustrated about that result with the Split decision,

That Merab Dvalishvili incident was really kind of not Merab I really think he is a cool and calm guy but this is just a fan and getting into an altercation easily I think  he needs to contained his cool or maybe he is just scaring the fan that is all,

I was surprised to read that Holly Holm was given a six-fight contract with the UFC.  I figured her fighting days were behind her after taking down Ronda Rousey in one of the biggest upsets ever, who everyone thought was unbeatable.  That was a while ago and Holly wasn't a spring chicken back then, so it's surprising to see she's signing long fight deals with the UFC while Ronda Rousey is messing around with fake wrestling.  Congrats to Holly, and while I'm surprised, that seems to be the trend with her.  Surprising everyone.  Let's see what she does next.

My oh my, our bet for Marlon Vera didn't win. And my parlay also doesn't look pretty good as Tucker Lutz was also defeated by Daniel Pineda.

This was my line on that fight.
Vera - Holm - Landwehr - Maycee Barber - Duraev - Lutz
4/6 which for me is bad, I'll take one lost in my parlay but two seem to be an odd loss.
Anyway, that's a good fight. Holly Holm dominated Yana Santos, which must feel pretty good for her as she was able to win again after being gone for almost a year, rumored retirement, and her last fight was a big split decision loss against Vieira.
If she wants to retire this should be it, a winning record before she steps out and hangs her gloves.

I never really expected Cory Sandhagen to throw many takedowns like that and we all know that Marlon Vera kind of has a slow start and that has made him really lost in this fight, because when the fight ended with a decision he doesn't get a chance to make up for that score, Cory was shooting takedowns from the start of the fight,

Well, Holly Holm's return is signaling that she still wants the spotlight and I think she is targeting a higher spot in the ranking may be a Raquel Pennington, or Julianna Peña before calling it quits, but maybe the Belt but we all know about Amanda Nunes but let's just wait

I also watch his training it was really intense alright, and I have noticed that Israel Adesanya seems buff right now his muscle seems bigger now, so this is a good sign that he is going to have more durability, and stronger so he can rug dolled Pereira, but yeah he still needs to lower his weigh for the fight he might get heavier but I think this will be very effective on wrestling now,

Well, wrestling is the game plan so I think that training is fit for him, cardio training to lengthen his cardio inside the octagon, to last for those takedowns, or even shooting 48 take-downs like Merab Dvalishvili or even more, and that extra muscle you are talking about should be great for takedowns aswell and for durability purpose too,

I think uncle Dana White has something to say about who's going to fight who, but surely now that Khamzat Chimaev is moving up to 185 to the Middleweight surely to face Paolo Costa and Alex Pereira, now Colby Covington in the 2nd rank is getting at Leon Edwards, well even though Leon Edwards has express that he doesn't like Colby Covington as an opponent well he is champion now because now he is nit-picking a fight for himself, and Edwards wants Jorge Masvidal, but yeah the UFC and Dana White fuck it they want a Colby Covington VS Leon Edwards fight instead,

Based on his training I think he is enhancing his cardio more and readying into an all-out wrestling for sure, right now he can apply a Merab Dvalishvili kind of style to Alex Pereira, I think he can really dominate him with that kind of tactic it will surely disrupt Pereira just like what Petr Yan, did but what if Alex Pereira would be accustomed to wrestling as well, but surely because he just recently entered MMA I think Israel Adesanya will be more advance than him, just look at that intense training,
