Well, Striker's weakness is most likely Wrestlers, but strikers can depend on those takedowns with their takedown defense, but surely to defend they need to learn the basic of takedowns so likely they will also learn some basics of wrestling, whether it is Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, Combat Sambo, or American wrestling, but most of the time Strikers will never resort to wrestling unless gets triggered in doing so but in Jairzinho Rozenstruik case, he might have the takedown defense but Almeida Still scrumble with him by moving sideways and tripping Jairzinho Rozenstruik to his side to take him down, likely Jairzinho Rozenstruik doesn't have an answer to Jailton Almeida's Wrestling, that is why he was very vulnerable to wrestling this is what was pretty common to heavyweights like Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Derrick Lewis they are one dimensional and technical fighters are reading their movement like a book,

Jairzinho Rozenstruik was really 34 pounds heavier than Almeida that is why I have gone and bet for him I just didn't post it here, but anyway I really thought that Jailton Almeida will be having a hardtime taking the fight to the ground because Jairzinho Rozenstruik is heavier but I was wrong I really underestimated Almeida so much that he can surely trip Jairzinho Rozenstruik down for a takedown and that is all history I am not really well-versed in MMA and all you guys have said that a strikers weakness was a wrestler and I never believed you guys,

But moving on I guess we have a boring fight and it is between two women Mackenzie Dern VS Angela Hill

I think for now will be skipping this event and will never be betting on it for now,


I only bet on the Main-Event the Jairzinho Rozenstruik VS Jailton Almeida and it was a crushing defeat I think I will call it a day 1st in the UFC, and focus on betting for other sports event, but I will surely check out this thread for some of your posted predictions but yeah it was a mistake in taking the striker side than a wrestler side but pretty much there are other opportunities and surely waiting for UFC 289 | Nunes vs. Aldana event,

I was just lucky, last time that was mostly red, I just very much know mostly on the Main Card I never expected Tainara Lisboa to submit Jessica-Rose Clark because she surely not really doing that much and Jessica-Rose Clark pretty much how to defend that, but it was a close match Jessica-Rose Clark got into a mount and got Lisboa a cut I really though it will be a doctor stoppage but sure enough both girl struggle and Tainara Lisboa just got a good opportunity in getting that submission,

Jairzinho Rozenstruik panicked and didn't really know what he would do it was a nasty loss for Jairzinho Rozenstruik Jailton Almeida really is a submission artist, those faint left punch was just a decoy for Almeida to shoot the takedowns, and because Rozenstruik was pretty much distracted when Almeida move his body to the right it was a takedown pretty much Jairzinho Rozenstruik don't have many answers to the wrestling,

You had all the bouts in the main card correctly picked. Only the messed up prelims at the very start were your downfall in predicting the right outcome of those matches.
The very first fight which was very early in the day started with referee taking points away from the fighters.
The next one which was drowned in controversy was the Ji Yeon Kim fight. Where she kicked off her opponent who didn't want to let her get up so she could go to her corner to sit on the stool. The referee delayed until the beginning of the next round in deciding to deduct a point. This made her corner go mad. Then while the next round was in progress Kim threw a knee to the head of Bohm's temple while see was down. Which is illegal. So that was another point deduction.
I missed some of the other bouts in the prelims but that is how it began, with illegal moves.

Jailton Almeida's win was a nice submission move after Jairzinho Rozenstruik tried to get out of the mounted position but exposed his back. This is where Almeida finished him in the rear choke hold.
Done in the first round and a clean fight, which was different from the start of this event.

I also missed the event because I was busy with something and thought that I was too early to put my predictions I totally missed it, but you got a nice pick there even though the early fights were all losses going up the card most of them won their fight and the Main Event was a total Banger, Jailton Almeida was fully in control of Jairzinho Rozenstruik definitely a weakness to the strikers Jairzinho Rozenstruik panicked while he was on the ground and Almeida was on top, but if I have put my bet I will also go with Jailton Almeida for a submission win bet, but I missed the opportunity,

It will be proven if Jailton Almeida can takedown Jairzinho Rozenstruik, in this match-up because if not Rozenstruik can surely punish Almeida by striking him so badly because a couple of strikes is all Rozenstruik need, to finish the job, while Almeida can be a force if he can take Rozenstruik down the ground he can finish him quickly there,

That was insane 34 pounds heavier than Jailton Almeida is really insane now I don't know if Jailton Almeida can takedown Jairzinho Rozenstruik without hurting himself, for this fight I really don't know if Almeida can take Jairzinho Rozenstruik to the ground but maybe there are still a chance and way Almeida know Brazilian Jui-Jitsu so he got way in taking down Jairzinho Rozenstruik, for sure, he just needs to find that opening, if the double-leg takedown is proven not effective for Rozenstruik, I think Almeida will need to resort in different techniques for his takedowns,

I think I will have a take for the upcoming UFC event watching the power of Jairzinho Rozenstruik he really has the punching power 1 punch is all he needs to win this fight for me it looks like Jailton Almeida is slow to evade those punches my opinion and Jairzinho Rozenstruik blitz punches is really fast, while Jailton Almeida does have a fast and good double leg takedown but surely I think Jairzinho Rozenstruik has a good takedown defense and Jailton Almeida would really have a hard time taking Jairzinho Rozenstruik to the ground with his official weight of 265 lbs while Almeida was 231 lbs he Almeida will have a hard time taking him down, Jairzinho Rozentruik has a 34 pounds edge over Almeida,

That is right if Jairzinho Rozenstruik catches Jailton Almeida with a punch and a follow-up that will be a good win for Jairzinho Rozenstruik, however, Jairzinho Rozenstruik can not underestimate the explosiveness of Jailton Almeida for sure those double leg takedowns was pretty much fast, but if Rozenstruik was pretty much heavier than Jailton Almeida he might have a hard time lifting and taking Rozenstruik to the ground this is another problem I have seen for Almeida, and if Rozenstruik would likely have a good takedown defense, but for me, Almeida is pretty much well-rounded so he can surely goes into standing with Rozenstruik but it is a bit risky for sure,


At 1st I thought it was the black beast that was fighting but after looking closely and have seen his name I said wait it is not Derrick Lewis, so I was surely wrong they look the same, but both Rozenstruik and Lewis have the same style so it is alright but the uniqueness of Almeida in this fight is the pure takedowns he has in the Heavy Division, and this could make this division for a new heights,

After seeing the videos and some fights for Rozenstruik and Almeida I now have an insight into what may happen in the fight but surely this is my 1st time in the UFC, so I really need to think twice before getting into something, thanks to you guys for the explanation and video's you all provide it simply help and I have seen that in heavyweight most of the fights ends up so fast because of those heavy blows that ended up the fight quickly, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik is a good example for that Jairzinho Rozenstruik most of his fights end up 2 to 1 round only if he catches his opponents with his punch it is all over while Jailton Almeida is the same the fight will end on 1 to 2 rounds aswell, but the different thing here is mostly his fight ends up in the ground Jailton Almeida is a different fighter than Rozenstruik, and after thinking about it Jailton Almeida can surely control Rozenstruik on the ground and those takedowns will surely destroy the Rhythm of Jairzinho Rozenstruik it will be a good fight for sure and just like you I now got high admiration for Almeida aswell,

I see Rozenstruik's fighting style more like the black beast derrick lewis.
Where he lunges whenever he throws a forward punch.
This is a dangerous way to fight with a wrestler like Almeida is where he can look for the tell tale signs of when he is about to shoot that forward motion and quickly counter it with a takedown, then it is all over.

It feels like they are likely the Main Event, but upon watching the fight of Aljamain Sterling VS Henry Cejudo it was a real banger, and likely the fight was a close one that no one ever expected to happen but me, Aljamain Sterling surely has the edge he played his card to well and just like what he said it was a game of chess for him that he took most of the shot on Cejudo that the face of Cejudo was swollen,


It was a slick move of Merab Dvalishvili in stealing the jacket of Sean O'Malley I think the council is angry with Dvalishvili but the Aljamain Sterling VS Sean O'Malley will surely proceed I wish Merab Dvalishvili can also settle a score with Sean O'Malley as well,
