hahaha overconfidence kills, I saw that in Alex last night, he kept talking between rounds, trying to get into Izzy's head, but Izzy was too smart, stuck to his game plan, set a trap for his overconfidence, lured him in, and countered. It was a great night for Izzy because he had the entire world on his side. I've never seen a fighter so loved, and everyone wanted him to retain it, and he did..

Israel Mobolaji Odunayo Oluwafemi Temitayo Adesanye- this name carries weight he is the true son of the land.

It was really the overconfidence of Alex Pereira that destroys him and not really Adesanya, and Israel Adesanya were reading him like a book so pretty much Alex Pereira was still doing the same this just like their 1st fight and Israel Adesanya was aware of it, listening to on his corner, and it was really a successful plan, but I guess if this plan doesn't work there is still wrestling that he can still count on, at least that is what I believe in for Izzy's game plan,

Chuck Lidell from training Alex Pereira ahead of UFC 287 Here is the clip Video from Partying with Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya, Here is the Video very real quick changing sides,

And here is another great video from Mojahed Fudailat depicting the UFC 287 fight and it was really hilarious,

Israel made us proud and showed the world that he is still a formidable fighter. Who would have guessed a KO?
Of course, the result of the fight was beyond expectations as izzy was in trouble when Pereira got close to him with a knee punch, I thought he was almost beaten the same way he was in the previous fight, but we were pleasantly surprised he saved a heavy right hand that Pereira had to fall from his attack. The fight reminded me of the Kamaru vs Edwards fight, Edwards executed Kamaru with an unexpected hard kick to finish the fight, so every fighter has a new attack strategy to beat the stronger fighter than him, they will seize every opportunity to get the right moment to launch an attack hard knockout.

Israel made us proud and showed the world that he is still a formidable fighter. Who would have guessed a KO? Israel did it for the culture. Perhaps fighting without the weight of defending the championship belt made him more comfortable to express himself. A lot of talk before the fight, but his victory has validated it all.

Anthony Joshua is back, Adesanya is back, Usman Kamaru should be the next to get back to winning ways.

Didn't know his entire Nigerian born name. Thank you for describing it in length as I wouldn't have successfully accomplished this Igehhh.

Very nice post-fight video courtesy of TheWeasle with extremely technical descriptions of how Israel actually managed to put away his arch nemesis with calculating accuracy:

Adesanya should stop talking and do the actual talking in the bout; he's been all over the media lately, giving interviews and gaining too much confidence; our brother Usman did the same thing, much talking, no hard work. I just hope he doesn't blow the opportunity again. Ive got Izzy on this one.
"Hammer fist of the gods!" - Israel Adesanya

That guy sure knew how to bring the game to the champion. Played him until he saw the opportunity to let him think he had him cornered with that knee.
Then he unloaded just like in the first fight but this time he had enough until the bell ended for the second round.
It didn't go past that round.
Spectacular fashion as Joe Rogan said after the fight.

Its 3 to 1 so Izzy still has two losses to even up but if there is a third fight here in UFC and he did the same thing, that will be over and will establish Izy as the better fighter between the two although, in the minds of the majority, he really is a better fighter because he is still the favorite going into this fight.
Adesanya was able to KO Pereira. In my humble opinion, Pereira took Adesanya too lightly. I was actually disappointed when Izzy lost a battle a few months ago, despite the online jokes, even though I knew he would win it back because of the champion he is and the gentlemanly way in which he conducts himself in competition. As for the fight, Izzy baited Alex into being overly aggressive at the end. You can see him sort of noticing how Alex was starting to be more aggressive and using that against him when he got hit with that leg kick, he didn't even flinch but he paused then put his hands up as if he was injured to trick Alex into applying more pressure and leaving himself open.

Congratulations to all that believed in Israel Adesanya, he surely lit the octagon winning in a spectacular fashion and with style, he doesn't want to go to the ground and finish it that way he surely wants to finish this fight in what his trademark is, and giving all the doubters what they deserve, I really love it, and watching that knockout win gives me the chills and I was really jumping on the edge of my sits with unbelievable awe!

I think the reason for him talking back was because of all the trash talk thrown at him.
Well now, he proved it. He worked hard, he grind and pushed himself to his limits, that's what he said post-fight with Joe Rogan.
With this win, he shuts out all haters who questioned his greatness what he did is just the right way to get back all the frustration way back on their first fight, he is actually winning in all the first three fights until he got caught with that left hook, now its Alex to get caught by that counter punch.

Quote
He is the champion once again and I doubt there will be anyone who would try again. Pereira might, but he should strategize first. We all saw how he almost knocked him out in the first round of their last fight, he was just saved by the bell. Now, it's round 2. Being knocked down twice that early has a lot to say.
His chin is weak and worse he is a boxer who relies on his hook.
I really thought Izzy will be using his grappling skills but to my surprise, he didn't even make an attempt and ended it with a punch.

Funny, I made two bets. I guess I was just so sure that Izzy will get this one. Though I forgot to bet for a KO.

Trump in the crowd getting shout outs from fighters. Izzy getting revenge with a knockout. What an event. I think if Conor McGregor would’ve been able to fight in this one with his return  it probably would’ve been the greatest UFC event ever. So many celebrities and awesome moments. Seems like everything went the way it should have.

Here are my full picks for the upcoming UFC 287 Pereira VS Adesanya 2

Alex Pereira VS Israel Adesanya
I will also be expecting and hoping that Israel wins this. He needs the win so much at this critical point in his career, and judging from his interview he knows what he stands to loose which is his recognition as a one time champion. Israel said that he is considered the underdog in this fight, and I think so too. Pereira had defeated him before, will be more confident in his ability, and it will take a lot of wits for Israel to snatch the win from him.

AJ already recorded a win on his way back to the top, Isreal can as well.

After looking for some insights, I decided to place my bet on Pereira @ 2.07, the odds makes me want to take Idesanya at first but it felt like a trap similar to how Adesanya remained the favorite in their last meeting.

The value on Pereira is pretty solid as he's the defending champ and even though Adesanya got what it takes to even the score I still think the result would be the same as the last match.

Oh ralle14, my friend, I am going the opposite way and seeking an Israel win versus his one nemesis who he just can't seem to defeat in four(?) fights now.
Was rewatching their last fight and the announcer at the end of the fight said this was their fourth time fighting and Adesanya hasn't won one yet.

Anyways, I have my betslip for the entire card including the prelims which are beginning in about 25 minutes from now.
So let's go and get this one done!

Good luck on that brother @ralle14. Well actually, good luck to all of us. There will be just one winner and I do believe it will be Adesanya this time.
I didn't expect the line to change that fast. They are giving away 1.77 for Adesanyan now. I think I took the bet too early and only got 1.65 but it's okay, I will just bet one more time and hope it will win.

From watching every clip made in the training camp of Adesanya I can see how severe his training was. He will definitely give all he got this time and I do believe it will be a fruitful one. Nothing will be lost but something to gain, this kind of feeling is almost new to him from being a champion for a long time.
Being a challenger will make him stronger, that's my opinion.

Well, I can not blame you for thinking like that and history can surely repeat itself Alex Pereira could simply do something the same, the reason is that power of Pereira was the problem even in their kickboxing fight Alex Pereira can 1 shoot Adesanya to knock him out, but we can not take out the many rounds Adesanya dominated many rounds, I really think many are seeing that Dominant rounds for Adesanya and Izzy's team can surely go there and analyzed those fights There is a chance for Israel Adesanya to redeem himself, but because of Pereira's power on his punch he only needs 1 round to finish Adesanya, I will give Alex Pereira that, but many including myself things that the wrestling is the best option for Israel Adesanya to gained his dominance against Alex Pereira,

But Still good luck to all of us,

Perhaps it was all planned from the very start. You all know how Dana's mind works when it comes to making a brand and exploiting it to it's fullest.
As you can see in the background with the WWE into UFC and UFC into the WWE pictures on the walls.

So this tells you everything with the avenues for these two superstars in sports entertainment whose names are very well known across the globe.

Today starts the day which everybody has been waiting for with the official beginning of UFC 287 main event festivities,

Well, my childhood was all about the WWE and replicating their every move on the bed with my siblings but never really expected UFC to merge surely Vince McMahon is too old for this but she got his daughter and son that wants to grab WWE, but surely this is just a way to let the company grow or maybe he is just being controlled by Endeavor but maybe he is just being a visionary about what he can do for the company to still strive, but I think this is to benefit the company, here is the VIDEO of Vince McMahon and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel,

Now this is what many are waiting for and it will surely be a great faceoff between these two now I want to see Alex Pereira wear that Pickachu jacket but he is wearing a purple suit now,

The rumor could be true where fans can now bet on WWE but I hope Dana would make it to be real wrestling and not a theater like how it is now. Featuring the different kinds of wrestlers showcasing styles and beating each other. Enough of that Powerslap because it doesn't look like a sport.

I guess we'll be seeing the wrestlers in UFC meets in WWE to have a real wrestling fight. This will really change the audience from kids to gamblers.

If you see the interview video on Vince McMahon and Ari Emanuel the Endeavor CEO the last minute maybe the last question the question was what if McMahon and Emanuel would want something from the company but had some squabble about it or something like that they go to say they will settle it inside the ring, but then again Ari Emanuel said that just like the UFC and Dana White if they have some disagreement about something there will be no agreement about it or it will not continue he then added that he is letting Dana White do the decision and Endeavor was just backing up their decision, so just like the UFC, the WWE will have the same treatment just like that,

I will also be expecting and hoping that Israel wins this. He needs the win so much at this critical point in his career, and judging from his interview he knows what he stands to loose which is his recognition as a one time champion. It is really great that he is thinking that he is the underdog but the odds are still high for him and many still believe he could win this fight, but I think his mindset was really set on slaying Alex Pereira this time, I think he surely handles his losses great, and I like that,

One thing that might happen is Brock Lesnar coming back for one last time and face Jon Jones for the biggest pay per view, Jones called out Lesnar earlier but now things are easier.

I really don't expect that but maybe if Brock Lesnar still has the guts to do it, but looking at their skills and experience I really thought Lesnar is able to do it, and really doubt if he can go toe to toe with Jon Jones,

@rdbase Thanks for the links. Will be keeping them for updates.
The face-off was intense. No foul movements, just literally staring at each other with clenching jaws. I love it. Keep the emotions for now and let it all go when the bell sound.

This tells us we are really getting near to maybe one of the best fights in UFC history. They are ready, in attack mode, like hunters just being patient watching their prey, and as soon as they step on the octagon I am sure there will be blood all over the place. So exciting.
