Check on the exchange that have the updated wallet.  Here you can find the peer. Novaexchange is the last line, coinexchange in the top-right (peers).
Just copy and paste the node into your *.conf file

Tried it under ubuntu 16.04 didn't get it to run. I guess the mismatch of the boost libraries, 1.55 and 1.58 are creating the error. I will try your windows suggestion too, but I am pretty sure I will run in a ton of dependency issues.

Edit: Yeah, running it under windows needs the same dependencies, but apt-get is buggy and if you install the libdb_cxx-5.3.so the command line dies with Chinese characters.

Try to uninstall your libbost-all-dev and install the 1.55, may fix

I've just tryied my linux wallet (daemon version) and it worked. It's syncing. It's compiled with UPNP so it will add node after few sec that it's started. You can add these node in your conf file.

addnode=52.88.118.126:14354
addnode=107.150.7.122:60642
addnode=104.251.218.157:14354
addnode=107.150.7.122:36722
addnode=198.187.28.11:14354
addnode=107.150.7.122:59328
addnode=134.255.232.126:14354
addnode=107.150.7.122:58992
addnode=31.214.149.95:14354
addnode=107.150.7.122:56524

I can't try the qt version, but is generated with the same source code of the daemon, so it will work for sure  Cool

Have heard lot of people talking about the block issue and I believe this isn't fixed yet. Last message that I read stated that dev is busy preparing whitepaper. I know whitepaper is important but then I personally feel that that can wait when the users are facing wallet/block issue. When there are too many important things to accomplish, I think the next thing we need to ask ourselves is what's my priority. One should not let the investors suffer because they are the ones that decide the future of any project.

I just hope that dev prioritizes his plan of action and come over to help with existing issues that people are facing.

People here are not just people but pillars/foundation of this project.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Really need another forum other than Bitcointalk.

One that requires verification from ANY dev that wants to start a thread.

Such a forum would overrun bitcointalk i reckon. For trust worthiness.
not sure if this would be the solution cause even projects focused on anonimity like deeponion works well here
and the forum here is quite good

the problem is not realy the platform but the people using it

would love to have more transparency from dev as well to know about our coins on wallet.

hopefully will have it solved at least til next week.

True

But the New forum could keep those details confidential.

And If something like this occurred, then with enough complaints from that threads community... the forum moderators could then review the thread themselves.... and if the concerns look valid... could give the dev a warning email... letting them know that they have "so many" days left...to reply. And if no acceptable communication is made within that time period...THEN out comes the can of whoop ass ^^"

Yeah, getting a little worried right now. I don't think the beta testers have been informed, which should have happened yesterday. Additionally, he was regularly online and now offline for 4 straight days. Still hoping for the best.
