The rate of decrease is starting to taper off now ever so slightly - but at least the block are flowing.
And the wallet gets through to sync
Stakes are all turning to orphans though.

looks like the curve may retrace a mirror image of the increase in difficulty as it decreases
That means the rate of decrease will slow after the next few blocks and take about 3 days to get to "normal" (but I guess that depends on hash rate?)
Interesting that my stakes are still stuck at 1 conf - after 4 more blocks have passed since staking? UPDATE - The stakes just changed from 1 conf to zero and became orphans.

Would be nice to set the stratum diff back to normal, 4 is a lot ...
Stratum port 3413 difficulty has been changed to 2.
Also you can mine on port 3414 with varDiff from 1 to 16.
... but with a high diff there is a lot of gpu power wasted on restarting works everytime a new block is found.

I hope some other guys can do same and we help to adjust diff sooner and we will get back to normal.

Don't know why i'm doing this, UTC has been steadily dropping for a long time now without any real development, but oh well, i like this "rescue" moves

This is what it needs - not enough hash to get too many blocks at present.
I salute Meebo though for sticking with it when everyone else went AWOL on alenevaa's pool - for a reward of perhaps 5 UTC per block (every day or so).
Difficulty definitely coming down - 0.3248 and rate increasing
