Presstab has done a good job at making sure the most relevant security updates have been applied (namely the OpenSSL and Signature Malleability issues). Though, without dedicated nodes to support incoming connections there is still a risk factor involved.

The build/client version mismatch is a consistency issue, not a functional issue
The lack of any hex-encoded seed addresses would only present a problem if the nodes returned from presstab's DNS seeder all fail
And the windows installer issues obviously only matter if such a binary is being built

All the critical tests passed, which is the important thing to take away from this

As far as Bittrex is concerned I have already been in contact with them over the past few weeks and given our tenure it is unreasonable to believe we will be delisted, however we do need to raise volume for a mutually beneficial relationship. I am confident that after the fork is complete we will see a resurgence in volume and can begin shifting our focus on marketing. I have prospects on a full time social media marketeer to join the Ultracoin Team among other avenues of exposure. I also plan to buy enough Ultracoin over the next few days to spur volume and overcome our volume requirement with Bittrex, albeit this will be a temporary solution. Ultracoin and Bittrex have a working relationship I only hope to improve moving forward, know that any delisting warnings or notices are automaticly generated and are not final.

As far as Bittrex is concerned I have already been in contact with them over the past few weeks and given our tenure it is unreasonable to believe we will be delisted, however we do need to raise volume for a mutually beneficial relationship. I am confident that after the fork is complete we will see a resurgence in volume and can begin shifting our focus on marketing. I have prospects on a full time social media marketeer to join the Ultracoin Team among other avenues of exposure. I also plan to buy enough Ultracoin over the next few days to spur volume and overcome our volume requirement with Bittrex, albeit this will be a temporary solution. Ultracoin and Bittrex have a working relationship I only hope to improve moving forward, know that any delisting warnings or notices are automaticly generated and are not final.

Just 2 weeks ago the same thing happened - with the result being that it was not delisted...guess the devs need to contact Bittrex asap and share the news about the update. Volume is not good though...

Bittrex are well aware of whats happening with Ultracoin and the new wallet. The mssg is computer generated based on volume and standard to all low vol coins. Both Steven and I have explained everything to Bittrex. However - I will contact them again.

Bittrex is raising the bar - at the end of the day Ultracoin will need more volume for the future.

Steven is working on some promotions that he will announce.

WALLET UPDATE REQUIRED

Ultracoin is hardforking to a new and much improved wallet. This new wallet addresses many issues including the diff re-targeting causing trouble for miners and includes more efficient staking plus increased staking rewards (new wallet after fork - 5.6% PA).

The fork date is set for Wednesday, October 12th , 2016 (block number 1,824,237).

You should download, install and run the new wallet - preferably before the fork date. The old wallet will not function correctly after the fork.

The new wallet files can be downloaded from here:

This link has downloads for both 32x and 64x Windows installations.

The simplest installation of the new wallet is via running the appropriate setup.exe for your Windows operating system - either 32x or 64x i.e. "UltraCoin-v1.0.0.0-Win64-Setup.exe" or "UltraCoin-v1.0.0.0-Win32-Setup.exe"

This applies if you want to install a NEW Ultracoin wallet - OR if you want to update an old installation.

So - if you have a Win64 operating system - just download and run "UltraCoin-v1.0.0.0-Win64-Setup.exe"

Once the installation has completed - you need to be sure to run the correct ultracoin-qt.exe so the NEW wallet opens (i.e. don't use your old desktop shortcut).

Best create a new desktop shortcut - as follows

- Navigate to C/Program Files/Ultracoin folder
- Find the file ultracoin-qt.exe
- Create a shortcut to this file - and put it on your desktop.

Use this new shortcut to run the new wallet (and best to delete your old desktop shortcut)

As always - be sure to back up and save your wallet files (wallet.dat) to several other storage devices.

If you know what you are doing - you can use the .zip files shown in the MEGA download link (i.e. ultracoin-qt-v1.0.0.0-Win64.zip) to manually configure your own wallet installation.

The new wallet seeds peers/nodes automatically through PressTabs node. There is no need for an addnode list anymore. I have 7 peer connections - you just have to wait for it to sort available connections - took about a minute to get the first connection.
