Thanks for the source link. Would also be good with an official addnode list from the devs...I'm not getting any connections with the new wallet.

You are right, links should update asap and we need new updated roadmap.
We need more volume.
Seems like something is happening,, volume is rising.
Iam going to buy some. UTC is still cheap.

Am I just missing the link to the source or is the new wallet only available in binary format for windows?

Good thinks coming,
Valpe

With the fork being scheduled soon and the situation with Bittrex, I'm a bit surprised that it's so hard to find the new wallet. It will quickly get buried here in this thread. Why is the links not updated on the first page of this thread (the wallet linked there is several versions old!)? On the website? No releases on the github page? Will just make it harder for users, miners and exchanges to update their wallets when the only "release" is a single post in this thread, and the success of the fork is kind of relying on this...

Just to let everyone know that I will be travelling until Sat 15 Oct - so I will only be visiting here briefly and sporadically during that time.

Steven (Rapture333) and a few others will hopefully field any urgent questions.

Great success for the fork everyone - hope I'm not on a plane when it goes thru.  I want to watch it live.

Cheers - usukan

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Friday, October 14th 2016 unless the average daily trade volume for the last 14 days exceeds 0.3 BTC. If you would like to keep the market listed, please encourage the development team to contact us at [email protected]. If you have questions about the policy, please see https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583874.

THE END

Just 2 weeks ago the same thing happened - with the result being that it was not delisted...guess the devs need to contact Bittrex asap and share the news about the update. Volume is not good though...

Have downloaded win 64 setup wizard and run it.

Wallet loads up (very quickly!), but I don't get any connections, so no syncing.

Any advice?

UPDATE : I left the wallet running and it finally found a connection.  Just one, but at least it is syncing.

Good to hear - you will get more connections as you go - currently I have about 4-5 peers/connections.

With a lot of people syncing - there might be a bit of competition for peers.

If anyone wants to add their ip address as a dedicated node to connect to, I can add it to my seed address that is hard coded into the wallet. Pm me with an address if interested.

RE - ANNOUNCING

The Ultracoin Contest

(This Contest replaces the previously announced one - all previous entries are deleted - we start again)

Just for fun - lets have a contest!

Its like this............

Guess the day that UTC hits 2000 ea (0.00002 BTC per UTC) - on Bittrex

Win 78,525 UTC = approx. 150 million Satoshi = 1.5 BTC     (@UTC=0.0002BTC)

This is well over USD 1,000

Guesses in UTC time of course. UTC = Coordinated Universal Time.

Guesses must be date/hour/minute in UTC time.

Only 1 (one) "guess" per registered forum member.

No votes after price hits 1500 (0.000015 BTC per UTC).  I will call the cut off time on this forum to avoid any unnecessary confusion.

The closest guess wins.

To claim - just re-post your guess (QUOTE) on this forum when you think you have won. Include your UTC deposit address.  If you don't claim (re-post your guess) - you won't be considered for the prize.

I will check claims and make plump the wallet of the winner from the UTC pot funds.

Discussion not entered into and my decision will be final. Trolls excluded from entry.  Those are the terms and conditions that you accept on entry.

May the best guess win - WINNER TAKES ALL.

Thank you to our numerous - and very generous contributors to this prize pot:

PaulR1 - 20,000
Valpe - 10,000
Laniakean - 21,000
usukan - 5,000
bret - 2,500
Anon donors - 20,025

Cheers - usukan

The pot has been deposited into this virgin and dedicated UTC address - you can check the balance and watch to see if it increases.

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/address.php?address=UVDBhGnp9n8P6hwC4kyHa3iJsXdVhmJEA5

Also - feel free to add to the pot if you want.

Just downloaded and installed the new wallet and it works like a charm, opens up a lot quicker than the previous one, synced and staking fine.

Great - thanks for testing this out wtfc360.  I'm running the new wallet on several systems - with no issues either.

No doubt somebody will have an issue - but its more than likely to be a system or operator caused issue - than the wallet itself.

I have run the wallet over several fork points while testing - and no probs either.  Fingers crossed for the real fork but we should be fine.

Cheers - usukan
