I am noob in this area so i apologize in advance for some stupid questions.
What does all this mean for potential miners and what are effects for short/long term? Is that something that can be fix?
And afc, how does that effect on Unify potential and crypto value? Is this something I need to be worry about as Unify buyer?

For everyone having a problem with wallet - yes, only solution is to wait at the moment. Block will move on sooner or later. We can't do anything much about it.
As for plans, indeed, there are plans to launch more wallets - Mac, Android & Web Wallet. There are also plans to improve some things. I will go in detail about upcoming goals a bit more tomorrow.

Although can rent hash if they wish to assist with the next block, but that is pretty much anyone can do.
Eventually we will find a block, so there is no need to panic anyone.
I think that a stable hashrate would be alot better, because if people throw loads of hash and then stop mining, it will cause some serious delays on blocks and so on
Edit: seems like the nethash is only around 1GH/s anymore, this is gonna take a long time for sure

I downloaded the wallet and it immediately started syncing but got stock on 2 hours behind.... it's now 9 hrs behind.
Same root cause and just have to wait it out ?

Must be because of yesterdays huge hashrate. Maybe that's not so bad after all - big miners won't be flooding NovaExchange with all they've mined. As for waste of mining power I agree completely, but there's not much what I could change in this case. I could rent a great mining rig, but we would bump into this problem later then anyway
Yup, no very much can be done atm.
Just wait to hit a block and wait for diff readjustment.

Just voted. Would be great add a couple of new exclanges to this coin. Hope the chain moves soon. It's been almost 8 hours.

Should pass soon, same happenned in very early beginning at block 55, it took like 6-8 hours I believe and then moved on
As for exchanges - I could add it to CoinExchange.io, also submitted it to C-cex.com, but no reply from them.
Anyway, the main goal is to add it to Bittrex. Unify meet their criteria and volumes were pretty nice yesterday. Should be even more nice once all the coins are mined.

Yobit is shady as hell, and known for stealing customer funds sometimes. Also they have a horrible support, and do not forget all the deposit problems.
Coinexchange.io however is a fairly decent exchange, i think they would not be too bad. However they lack volume, so i do not think if it will help us really if we get added there.
