+1 ;-)

Bittrex should release the 350 BTC to them only if they deliver the features they promised.. Not earlier..

They stated in their original thread now that, probably in response to my post regarding my look at the source code here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8512622

That none of their promised features are ready yet and are all in development.. The money (premine) is needed for development.

Proof:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8513777

BUT the dev also said he sent all his details to CryptoAsian here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8513983

So lets wait what happens..

For now this coin as a FIVE STAR RED FLAG rating from CryptoOcminer ;-)

From their About Us:

Richie Lai

"Richie is currently the manager of the Amazon Security Operations Center and is in charge of security response and operations for Amazon. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Microsoft building up their security engineering and internet crimes division. His background in application and network security, internet crimes and malware makes him the most paranoid person at protecting his and your crypto currencies. "

Though not a security breach, it is still an internet crime, a huge one, performed through your systems and you are profiting from it, if CLSTR / Cluster is not an internet crime then what is? 350btc form CLSTR and ~50 from USE, that is around 1/5 of a Million dollars!!

Don't kill your company ffs!

No clue.

I still don't understand how an anonymous coin, with no proof of any of the innovation mentioned - managed to get 350BTC from buyers

The scam works like this: DEVs use their own BTC to buy into the ICO to give the appearance of lots of interest in scam coin. They know they will get BTC back when ICO ends. Gullible investors see lots of fake ICO interest and panic buy into ICO ("Following the herd"). ICO ends and DEVS get all the ICO BTC plus they now have lots of scam coins to dump on market to make more BTC.

EDIT: I hate calling them DEVs because they are not developers. The couldn't code their way out of a wet paper bag.

ocminer - you had a chance to go over the code? Cause from what I can see he published the github for review during the ICO. If people dint check the code (or get someone's help) I think they deserve to be scammed.

Yes I've skimmed over the code a few hours ago and searched for anything that would make problems in adding a pool etc. But did not find anything "special" or so about the coin.. Its like a simply clone of a clone. I thought there would be anything special in mining, but a normal stratum implementation without any mods works ... Very confusing considering the features this coin shall have..

As it's weekend and I the weather is pretty good, I'm out now and did not look as close as you should look when you verify code or search for potential risks - so I cannot guarantee there is nothing "special" about the code.. Just nothing at first sight - at least for me.

I please everyone to show me the specials if they had a deeper look.

The premine is blatant though:

https://github.com/ClusterCoin/ClusterCoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1253

7.000.000 coins.. whilst coin reward is only 3 coins from 13.000 until block 10.000.000 ... count that in % ^^

Bittrex have everything to lose, and next to nothing to gain by paying out this 350 BTC to the dev.

It's such a clear cut case of just buying back the coins and everyone moving on.
