2.  Is the build on unobtanium.Uno the one with the microscope that I am supposed to tip for?  I think no.  Adolph?  Your Thoughts?

Tip or don't tip, no body is holding a gun to your head...

Thanks for being so patient, and CRAZY thanks for the glut of Un you've shared with me!

Here's a bit more for you all:

As sirsmokesalot mentioned, I am in to crypto to learn new things and I enjoy a challenge. None of my coins have ever been designed or intended to churn profit--at least not for me. I do ever so enjoy getting some Un from you though, especially grateful for the hefty chunk BlueMan sent--I will save some, I will spend some, I will turn some in to Offerings (by the way, anyone got any OFF they want to part with?)--please feel free to donate whatever you think my time's worth.

Again, life is as life does--While I just can't commit to 'Lead,' you can certainly consider me re-attached! I'm happy to be part of your group!

1.  The link to download for a new Mac wallet does not work.

2. The "block explorer" on this important link leads to a dead page:  https://www.cryptsy.com/currencies/view/UNO

Why is everything not perfect?

See updated links I posted, the one in that post didn't have the seednodes for testnet. Will update that post now.

1. Agreed, file isn't available currently, though the name is correct (else the virus check site couldn't have done its thing). Go to unobtanium.uno instead and find the latest OSX build there (0.10b)

2. This is a Cryptsy problem, I think. Can't do much about it except email them to let them know (I haven't done this, am going to bed now). Go to unobtanium.uno to find a current block explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/ (maybe Cryptsy could update to this one too, who knows?)

Why is everything not perfect?
The 'b' is for beta, as in, test release. Welcome to community-driven software development. Doesn't suit commercial marketing and is bad for mass adoption/widespread uptake, but this is the nature of cryptos as of right now. Many of us are working hard to move things forward but it takes a boatload of effort, time and community collaboration and support.

@Learnminer is community Hitler this week.

1.  Who is in charge of communicating with Cryptsy, mein Fuhrer?

2.  Is the build on unobtanium.Uno the one with the microscope that I am supposed to tip for?  I think no.  Adolph?  Your Thoughts?

It takes more than community. It takes leadership.

Find one.

@siameze is that an app or a browser module?

It's like a browser module. You will need Tampermonkey (Chrome) or GreaseMonkey (FF) to use it.

Instructions are on the thread regarding how to obtain a token and get a password.

My bcttalk is dark themed, I use bitcoinalk++ Cheesy
Ooh thanks, I'll look into that! (Edit. here's the link for anyone else who's interested).

But I really did love the entire layout on cryptoguild. Code formats always came out beautifully.
I know, it was lovely  Cry The latest phpBB offerings and amazingly responsive community support made for a fantastic forum product, it is masterful. I've never built forums before - ever! - and this was a piece of cake, even with SSL implementation.

userscripts are by far the best way to internet, imho. Once you use btctalk++ this place blows without it. (Which it already does, but hey!)

I noticed the Testnet request; there is a working testnet--but BW didn't include the seednode for it in the 0.10 core build and I didn't notice it until I fired the node up for it. You can access it with addnode=23skidoo.info or you can use my updated build which has added the seednode:

Windows: https://23skidoo.info/Unobtanium-Blueschist.zip
MD5: 8c5d65dcf8862d3eda209ac9e9f37000
Mac: https://23skidoo.info/Unobtanium-Blueschist.dmg
MD5: 8d377592f9dc949def0f3559269d630e
Github: https://github.com/thegreatoldone/Unobtanium

FallenKnife - Please feel free to link these or repost them. If you can add me as a contributor to the Github, I will pull these changes and people can get my branch directly. I will also try to look in to that CVE posted by Siameze in the coming days.

I think it would be wonderful if BW would share push access to the official github with Hagbard...

Hagbard, please see my pull request to update the version number here if you feel we have consensus:

My eyes struggle with the CCT theme, it's way too bright to be comfortable for more than about 10 seconds. Sounds silly but this is one of the main reasons I don't go there much. Jimmy said there might be a darker theme coming with the next update but that was quite some months back now, I think. When I built Cryptoguild it took about 5 minutes to tweak the colours to get everything nice - a theme option on CCT would be sweet if that's something he'd consider doing. I realise that BCT here is not dark either, this is true, but it isn't anywhere near as harsh on my eyes as CCT's default. Might be a contrast thing - black and white versus grey and grey, maybe. My eyes feel the difference!

Freedom of discussion is another thing that keeps me away from there, though I think we UNO folk did get off on the wrong foot, subsequently righted. If I can discuss relevant issues, including URLs for other coin-related sites, without worrying about having to censor my own posts in case of overly enthusiastic modding or deletion, that'd go a fair way to my feeling more comfortable there! It's the difference between going to the trouble of setting up my own forum software versus using something that already exists.

Indeed, I said this before on CCT, I don't have emotional attachment to BCT, CCT or even CG (remember, we killed the momentum we had with CG when it didn't fit the experiment's parameters any longer, despite the slowly growing traffic) but I am quite clear on tools being fit for purpose. Getting a dark theme in place would be enough for me to be quite happy with CCT being the primary home of UNO discussion, and I suspect the moderation now may be more relaxed than last time (Jimmy made his position clear after the first few days of some rather zealous post deletions!).

I'll get a pinned tab open on the UNO discussion on CCT and will look out for theme updates. Happy to move house there, you bet!

maybe the the guild v2.0 sets up camp at CCT?

I haven't heard from craigv or IMZ, so I'm in the dark on that. btctalk is my sole source, I don't even reddit anymore. I'll see what I can dig up though.

Not planned at present but we're still around and very much kicking. Making anywhere a place for Cryptoguild-related anything is not planned in any form right now. Personally, I'm quite interested in being part of the UNO community as always and we'll see where the second half of 2015 takes us Smiley

Our forum at Cryptocointalk needs some attention or it may be removed.

Can some of you join me there and lets get that community activated. Put up a post to show that we have CCT users and that it's just not the FallingKnife show over there.

The software at Cryptocointalk is terrific, and with some of the ban issues on the venerable BCT, having a presence on CCT is important.

The cryptoguild forum is/was more active lol ( I took a peek).

It really is the FK & CaptChadd show over there, but I have never hd a CCT account.
