Hi everyone! Here what I think :

Firstly I don't see  we discussed enough the sidechains think and we don't have enough opinions here to take any decisions!

From what I see seems to me that Bryce wants and planning to do some changes on uno, without consensus with the community. Are we?I don't think we given to him any agreement to do now hard changes, side chains, forks or anything else!  Unobtanium is community driven material and Bryce must should serve and listen the community on first place! But how is even possible that he is our DEV and he never show up here in this forum even once?  I DO NOT like this and this methods of work !  Maybe Bryce is professional or crypto genius, but he got zero communication with Uno community!!!!! Twitter is not count! And i am sure BW not gonna show up here in the future!!!?
Blazr2 is missing to -to give competent advice as the original father of Uno!

FalingKnife please give us more information about your contacts and conversation information with Bryce if you have one lately. I want to see opinion from Blazr2 before we to decide to do any changes or zero changes first!

We are good on our own. We are sha256 ,but must stay totally separate from any other blokchein. We are totally different story! - merge mining Yes but maybe later! Security gonna come naturally with the price. Sidechains I don't think so! We stay pure and lite and simple as possible!

Nobody can touch Unobtanium without our /the community/ consent! And guys don't rush things.

Welcome, Tertius!

Death to The Cryptsy Wallet is a firmly-held goal. Come and visit Un-Ex https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unobtanium-in-house-exchange-757232

Just this morning, the very first tiny tiny tiny bit of 'ex-Cryptsy' coin passed into strong hands. (But I gotta get community opinions before the project goes much further.)

Thanks, makes sense for it to be an exchange wallet.  Though why does it appear to have no outputs?

Because it moves in one piece. Once something is withdrawn from it all the coins move to the next wallet. So the adress isn't reused once the privatekey has been used once.

Aha! Thank you.

No sidechains (this decade)! Anti-bloat is the new black.

I've added another richlist for Unobtanium, this one currently shows top 10,000 addresses, still a work in progress...

https://cryptap.us/uno/richlist

Edit: updated link

If I read it correctly the number one wallet holds nearly a quarter of all UNO ... and has never spent any, that doesn't seem ideal.
@tertius993 Welcome to the forum!

Have no fear. That is not correct for some reason. The big wallet is the Cryptsy UNO wallet. I have personally drained a significant amount from it.  Wink

Whoa! Molto overnight posts!

Me readingreadingreading.

"I would strongly argue the opposite.  This IS the time to act, and there may only be weeks left to accomplish this.  Perhaps Bryce knows this, too, and thus the quasi-urgency.

It is clear to me that BTC's power is grossly underestimated, here."

I find myself in easy agreement here.

cryptsy coldstorage. It really isn't ideal that people can't withdraw that. We're chipping away at it though. It was once much larger. Last outgoing was 2 days ago. It always moves to a new adress when making transaction.

Wish we could send a mass Tweet to Greeks that the best place to hide their Euros is in $UNO

This year: 10$ a coin
Next year 50$ a coin
what do you think ?

i don't really see this happening.  this is a grassroots community in a vast ocean of new cryptocurrencies, not like when bitcoin was a one-of-a-kind.  i definitely see a bright future, but $50 per kg in 2 years seems a little hasty.

i'll guess $4-5 by the end of the year.  can't see far enough ahead to predict 2 years
You may be right, but I see:

-$USD failure
-BTC 'fork' FUD passing (in-the-know buy up cheap, and BTC is scaled up)
-Mass BTC adoption!!!

Don't be so quick to recuse Unobtanium from participating in this year's events.  I remember from maybe early 2014, if not late 2013, when, after having converted all my other cryptos to UNO, I had to watch as UNO was just about the last coin to participate in the gold rush at that time.  It was hell to have to watch all the coin I just had go up 10x-100x compounded on BTC's 10x rise.

Things shouldn't proceed the same this time, but you MUST be ready for success.  Take this as a very strong warning.  Sidechains or not.

hey, as a guy who'd holding a bunch of Unobtanium, I'd certainly be happy if it was worth 25x its current value, but I'm not going to be surprised if that doesn't happen for a good while out.  I'd also like to squash that peppy price hype and discourage newcomers from panic buying and causing wild price swings; i really just don't have the stomach for roller coasters any more.

The crazy swings are due to very low price of UNO.
If I wanted to invest 10 000 USD into UNO think what happens to the price?
Currently we are not ready for bitcoiners massadopting UNO since there are plenty of bitcoins but very little UNO - out of which only a fraction is for sale.  Shocked
UNO definetely needs much higher price than the current in order to be a reasonable choice for bitcoiners to adopt. They do not want to move the price a lot when they buy (who wants).
Even with me when I bought UNO the price rose from 0.01'ish to 0.016, and I do not have a significiant stash (only a little over 0.1 % of UNOs that will be ever mined).

correct. The real demand and attention comes from 1 or 2million cap upwards. Before that people don't even look at it or take it serious.

we are only 50% up all the months against the USD - rising from 2$ to 3$ isn't such a big deal for a good crypto like UNO. You seem to denominate in BTC mainly.
I also hold a very nice stake of $UNO and would prefer to continue our turtle model of slow and steady growth...

+1 turtle or sideways to show it can be stable. It's still very much under value and with the low inflation the communinty can support a much higher price.

right now costs of inflation is (at 3$): 45$ every day
I think we can bring in that money to support that price longterm.   Wink

EDIT: In that regard, at least 80% of the crypto top 40 is down today. Where is $UNO? Up about 3%...

It has been undervalued and oversold all of last year, mind you. And we also need this price to support the hashpower. So whatever you do: increase sellresistance instead of dumps. There isn't even enough on the books at bittrex. People at trex would be greatful to buy your coins at this price. They'll be gone in no time if you make a good price.
