Was that the bottom price established on February 5th ? Sure looks like it, with lots of volume. Wise to add more UNO in anticipation of an upward move now.

Not much going on in the Unoverse today, apparently.

Nice green candle at Bittrex buying up the book to .002.

The top 100 addresses, representing 76% of all coins, have not sent or received funds for an average of 1.7 years.

UNO will continue to grow more viscous, like a gradually cooling drop of molasses.

I'm managing 5 nodes at AWS right node, all Windows.
I'd be glad to provide RDC access to them to someone who could setup electrum.

Alternatively I could shut those down, setup Linux servers and just turn them over to  you, Cryptapus. Smiley

...

Would a smallish (1GB RAM, 30GB SSD, 1CPU) Digitalocean droplet suffice - performance wise - as a UNO fullnode + electrum server?

Yes, I believe so. You might also want to create some swap space via a swap file. Setting up an electrum server is quite easy, however getting it to talk to IRC so that the clients can see it may take some troubleshooting (for instance, the python-irc package in debian has some issues), I can assist you there.
Indexing the blockchain right now, lets see how this goes. Wink

Just submitted a pull request:

https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium/pull/26

The person in charge of the unobtanium.uno domain (and perhaps we should add a couple more domains) can define the seed nodes so recompiling the binary won't be necessary (in the future).

And again, FK has offered to fund more electrum-uno-server(s). I would urge someone besides myself to create one so I'm not the sole source of truth for electrum-uno. (decentralization seems to be a popular word these days Smiley )

'Blue Man recently ridiculed me again.'
@IMZ I don't remember such things. I wish best of luck to all.
Anyway Uno don't need luck but Love. And money to be bought. Get your money ready. Prepare yourself or exit Un. No empty words needed. No expectations needed. No CRYING needed. Action mostly needed. To be clear - is very simple If You Don't Like Unobtanium Then You Don't Need To Buy It!
This community is based on strong hands and minds. But if someone wants out- sorry I can't buy you up now. Actually why not. Go dumped your position whoever you are. Sparta will buy cheap with pleasure. We are long game as you know. We are collectors. My collection is not for sale. If yours is then go and good luck!

Btw last time I pulled  windows wallet from Unobtanium.uno was 2 months ago and is still sink with no problems. And Cryptapus wallets are awesome.

I'm feeling really lucky to be able to stack up UNO at these prices. There isn't much available on the books at this level. No big sell walls and 5 BTC triples the price... Thinking UNO could be primed for its annual February price run-up.

Why I don't stress the wallet TECH stuff!

1.  UNO is a coin for diehard enthusist, learning basic rope ties is part of the trade.
2.  The wallet is pretty good.  Having a .exe intallation pack that has updated .conf, is possible.
3.  The muggles will NEVER use client side wallets ... they will adopt Steem, Waves, Stellar, or whoever has the .AOL of web wallets.  Cryptopia is a kind web wallet too.
4.  back to point #1, yes UNO can be used as a possible Main St. coin, a form of digicash, instant TX, but that is not our destiny! Rare-fair crypto commodity, mostly for base pair trading and store of reserve value.  Graduate level stuff.
5.  unfortunately for IMZ,  subtle ridicule. (' . . . it really is pretty easy . . . '), will likely be the stand here, because . . it really is pretty easy. Grin  When compared to say writing the mythical 'smart contract' or creating multi sigs, etc.
6.  UNO is already a great client suite, easy to handle, has a vast array of features (android(s), +3 host-side wallets, tipping, transfer by name, we'll have plenty of bells and whistles ... long term (& once more capital is raised) ... sure a dev can improve the product to have a more .Aol gui friendly version too.
7. Convenient store, NO.  That is making every one happy, all the time.  Those mugs shop at Mcdonalds, Walmart, and Tessco.  Goldman Sachs, YES.  Thinking Mans coin of choice.

Regarding wallet issues: If many people are experiencing issues getting the wallet to work then that should be #1 priority right now, as SirSmokesAlot said. Many people are not patient enough to go to the forum and fuss with this. Maybe next month a billionaire will take interest in UNO but quickly move on after the downloaded wallet couldn't connect!

Two: recently set up a Litecoin Electrum. It was like travelling on a cloud.

Yes, Electrum is awesome.  The Electrum UNO port is equally awesome.  Go get it, https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum

You all want me I make this the suggested default option on Unobtanium.uno?  I think people will be happier with it.

My recommendation of a Windows wallet for newcomers is Electrum UNO (https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum/ ).    It's easy to use, no conf file to mess with, and no blockchain to download.  It removes several points of failure.

I'd like to see 2 to 3 more Electrum servers online, and I'm willing to fund one if someone can help set it up.

Yes, it sure wouldn't hurt to have someone trusted compile a new Windows wallets with updated seed nodes.

Anyone with the know-how can compile a wallet from Bryce's Uno-official git.
Anyone can send pull requests with changes and improvements back to Bryce for inclusion in his Uno-official git. He would LOVE to see someone do that.

I agree with IMZ. What does it take to make this automated? A bounty? Or is Bryce the only one that can do it?

Nah, Nat -- go with King's approach: subtle ridicule. (' . . . it really is pretty easy . . . ')

' . . . can you see how terrible this all is for an "average" user of crypto?  I mean, I grew up with computers, I work for a leading tech company, on the internet all day every day...muggles think i'm some tech whiz just for using crypto, so if someone like me is having a hard time figuring this out, then we're completely fucked for "mass" adoption.'

Here's my Wallet-Set-Up Report:

One: the only other cryptos we hold -- ETH, DASH, XMR, and BTC -- all now accepted by Ledger.

Two: recently set up a Litecoin Electrum. It was like travelling on a cloud.

Three: Joule has the same model as Unobtanium. Joule is dead.

Four: Groestlcoin has TWENTY-SIX click-and-go wallets; and the dev PMed me with an offer of personal assistance.

Five: SolarCoin! BAM! Got a Solar Coin wallet set up and synched and coined-up in less than ninety minutes!!

Six: Unobtanium: F.K.'s third specific request to the community for general assistance has been ignored. We couldn't get the android wallet to work. Still can't get Windows to work.* Blue Man recently ridiculed me again.

*Ta kindly for your unflagging support, F.K. You remain a role model to me. Did as you suggested but wallet still doesn't work. Sorry, matey: just had a gutful all around!
