@6436346346  Thanks for stopping by.  Good to hear your insights!

re: volume

Wall street stuff trades at high frequency.  Crypto coins will trade at HYPER frequency.

The reasons are many.  But the key one I'm seeing is micro second insurance.

Yeah, it will be a thing.

Say you're a die hard LTC investor, well you might take a 10minute $10k position in ETH.  Just in case LTC suddenly dumps, you have ammo to provide liquidity.

UNO, could (or prehaps is already) be used for the same purposes.  Mostly as a conduit.  Especially on Cryptopia, you might take a $100 30min spot on 'BikerCoin' just in case it suddenly pumps up.  Etc. Etc.  The neat feature is all trades convert back to UNO.  And they don't hit the support and resistance line, the bots make a kill/fill flash bid in the middle ground.

Again, humans are not needed, they are too slow, this will all be bot code, fast and furious, and based on casino type probabilities.

At any rate ... mad respect to Cryptopia for the USnubit add.  Really cool possibilities with the UNO/USnubit  pair.

Tether (USDT) will be coming in the next few weeks, so there will be an UNO/USDT pair as well Smiley

guys, i'm not feeling too great about this whole fake-volume-at-cryptopia thing.  i can't surmise any legitimate reason for why this is happening and any funny business at an exchange really puts me on high alert.

I agree lol, I've been trying to come to a conclusion on what type of reason one would have for doing that and wasting so much money, lol.

I've blocked that users api key (again) he was doing it to the UNO base markets a few weeks ago, was getting as high and 4000 UNO volume, LOL

Said he was worried about UNO getting delisted for low volume, I already told him that cant happen, but he seems determined.

Must say gonna miss the fees tho, LOL

If you spot this again just throw me a PM and I can investigate faster Smiley

Haha, Thank you for that but you really did not have to we understand your exchange survives off fees still a generous thing to do, thanks!

I still don't understand what his endgame was, LOL.

I don't understand half of what these traders do, I miss when we were just Pools, way less politics back then Smiley

I liked it. It made me happy.
If it's good for UNO and good for Cryptopia.... very difficult for me to say stop it.

Whoever that is that's doing it... #respect  You are Uno hardcore. Smiley

Although I agree and love to see that type of volume when it is obviously a single person/bot pumping the volume it turns people away from coins and makes them suspicious of what the dev is doing, most coins that do that are shitcoins i'd rather see real volume or at-least fake volume hidden well.

Bitcoin has much more network effect than the vast majority of alts. I'm certain that the alt market will once again have its day as the idea of crypto currency as a whole matures, but at this time BTC is in a class of its own.

Agreed, I don't really like BTC as much as i am forced to use it to buy the crypto i do like. Cry I strive for the day i'm able to directly buy UNO and XTO with Fiat. Smiley

a work of art!
i'm lov'n it!!

1 week chart.
BUY @13 ... lucky if filled.
SELL @ 15 ... nope!
find the middle.
(look @ the Vol. trend)

@nat

agree. somewhat.

If UNO is mostly fixed to and backed by BTC, then it is just a BTC derivative.
My opinion.
Better to be a blend of BTC, LTC, ETC, alts, icos, $, CYN, and bullion.

Crypto Wise Investors choose UNO as their home base.

My opinion.
Best to have the price 'sticky-ness' tied to $, since 99.9% of US have fiat based incomes.

Why?  Because if BTC goes on a wild surge, the +$10M marketcap coins will contend with that, UNO just needs to maintain fiat marketcap.  Flip side .... BOOM!  BTC rolls over, it will likely be a 10-30 month BEAR cycle ... wowZZZ!!  That will be the fair and rare time!!!

 Cool

@shinohai

I will accept Trumps ugly ass signature on that decree ... "Doge coin is Fired".  REALLY.  This is a loud bell that needs rung.  Most folk get, Doge is a side chain of LTC.  Well.  UNO is a side chain of BTC.  Let's have a pissing contest Wink  BTW ... Doge deals in dust coin Uber abundance, UNO well not so abundant.

NOTE:  "BTC is a shitcoin", to quote BW, there are still round about 4M coins to be rewarded, hence the higher it pushes up the harder it falls down, once the collective market consciousnesses catches onto this basic math.   Capital will roll over into the ALTs, with certainty.  UNO stands as the 'sidechain' of rarity that utilizes the exact same BTC network, that is real world and industrial strength mining operations, which are currently evaluated at $20 BILLION.

Did I say $20 BILLION dollars?
YEAP!
I did say that.

In regards to the Bitcoin rally possibilities & balancing BTC/UNO/alts...

It's all good long as a few of us have enough bitcoin that we could collectively accumulate all loose change if BTC increases to $4,000 & UNO declines to 0.00025 (for it to stay ~$1).  At 0.00025 the market cap would be ~50 bitcoin. Being extremely generous we'll say that 50% of UNO are up for grabs (judging by address movement it is likely <50% in the near future). So between like 8 of the most ardent UNO supporters, that's ~3.1 bitcoin per person willing to commit to UNO.

Point being that even if Bitcoin gains tremendously & punishes the satoshi value of the majority of alts, UNO will simply strengthen in a different way.

-----

Good discussions here. I often have the intention of responding to something specific but I've been so busy & get distracted; just put it in the record that I agree with much of what has been said  Cheesy
