What Benefactor said!! A Bloomberg article yesterday made the first sense of Ag's drop: knee-jerk reality of one commodity down, all down.

B., can you get this one to work?  .. http://www.coinspark.org  [My other thought was to approach you to be Advocate, Assistant, and Adjudicator -- but ya, it's time to kick this sucker into gear!)

Ian will on deck in a coupla hours.

Please please please please: everyone weigh in with (a) Stick with Nxt (which unarguably has advantages), or (b) jump right now to Sparkbit (which is at least a lightweight client) or (c)?

Go (please)!!

Offer:  BeneD0001 I have 12.1 UNO per DVC to purchase all outstanding DVC's, pending designated hodler is accepted by myself.  (Legal:  'hodler' is not defined in a dictionary; its definition is undisclosed and proprietary.)

Looking to buy all outstanding DVC's at 12.1 UNO/DVC.

If it isn't blatently obvious, already, silver is now extremely bullish from it's current price inside the $16 handle.

You gotta think about that with respect to DVC's.

I guess one could look at this as a race between UNO and silver in the next month, two months, etc.  Who will win?

Well, I'm guessing silver, unless something dramatic changes the Unobtanium environment, meaning a new infusion of investment.  Either one of us hodlers have to dramatically increase out dollar-cost average buying, or we need dramatically increased demand from new patrons.

My bet is on silver right now.  Wish I could buy up all the DVC's at current prices, but all things considered, I'm not getting that wallet to work on my computers this week.  In fact, this won't change, unless I get a new computer, which is not high on the list at present.  (No, not even a refurb.)

-

Unless,....  Anyone want to hodl DVC's for me???  (A completely insane proposition in the trustless world of cryptos, ...but we are building a trust network, right?)

Silver is down maybe 3% off it's Wednesday/Thursday highs, so why am I so stoked this morning?  Well,...it's recovered over 5% from nasty low-volume manipulative lows from the end of last week (and the Asian Monday morning from that evil Bank of International Settlements (BIS) trader in Hong Kong)*~!  That's why!

Given current conditions, I don't think this is a 'dead-cat bounce', where there's a return to a downward trend, but this really, really, really should be the new floor, the new low, (never to be returned-to denominated in crappy, evil $USD.)

SILVER - THE BOTTOM IS IN!!!

Things could get explosive, now.  We could be seeing times where silver goes up $5 in a single day!

Be sure to have a minimum of 6 month's food on hand.  (Unless you are wealthy or make your own food.)  It doesn't hurt to be prepared.  (The combination of rice and beans offers a complete protein for your body, and can last up to 7 years in storage.)

*If you don't know about this guy, he's the FED's solution for everyone in silver figuring out that Chicago's COMEX was manipulating silver prices down, like, 999 out of 1000 days or something, before the close.  Now there's two.  Kind-of like "QE II Ending" right when "Belgium", (just some evil FED cabal banker,) started buying all the bonds.  Kind-of like "QE III Ending" the same day when Japan starts hyperinflation.  Etc....

Hey, B.N.!

I have been following the shenanigans of gold. All I am sure of is that the low prices are 'artificial,' and they will go to da moon when GFC Two gets here.

Coinsparks? Lightweight wallet? I am truly eager to get you involved in the DVC Project. Ian and I chose Nxt's wallet because we are familiar with it.

Here's my thought: if you will help us develop the DVC Project -- which is primarily about having more TTs with more verified bullion -- you will find us absolutely ready to engineer a shift to a better coloured coin.

It would be a minor disaster if we ground to a halt over preferences for the type of coloured coin. IndiaMiikeZulu will confirm to the community consensus.

A common complaint from gold investors is that the benchmark price of physical gold, set twice daily in London by a handful of banks, is open to manipulation.  There is currently a lawsuit underway concerning such allegations and the benchmark is due to be replaced in early 2015 because of incoming financial regulations stemming from the LIBOR scandal.

With the emergence of Bitcoin as a platform to transfer assets other than BTC, I believe that if entrepreneurs and gold stakeholders were to support the development of investor products based around gold-backed Bitcoin assets, a new price benchmark for physical gold could emerge.  With the bulk of the world's gold production and consumption now in Asia, and new gold exchanges having launched there recently, Bitcoin could help tip the balance, and we could enter a new era where the price of gold is no longer influenced so much by London.  For some, this would be liberation.

I have put together a short paper to explore this topic, including how to create a new Bitcoin asset in just a few minutes and why these assets are superior to existing gold instruments.  It's currently a working draft and your feedback is most welcome.  Please feel free to comment here or within the Google Document itself.  Thank you!

Note: I am involved in a Bitcoin assets project, within the colored coins family, called CoinSpark.  You can find out more here: http://www.coinspark.org

hi, I've seen this exchange system for a while

It depend on some manual rules so it need little automation. How do users think?

(it do not means common automated exchanges like cryptsy. but you can program something for convenience)

If the operator has interest in partial automation, please reply. I cannot make huge things, but can help Wink

Good to see you here. Welcome!  I mined DDC on day one.

Hey, Ian. You know that 'Dokdocoin' is Kim the Korean dev? I have been asking him to visit for some time.

How about: Un-Ex continues on a manual basis until well into 2015; but if Global Mall Unobtanium starts to look real, we discuss adding an automated element for the 'shoppers' while keeping whatever balance of manual and automated suits the core community.

Mark (IndiiaMikeZulu), Australia

Yeah I'd assumed. But assumption is the mother of all fuckups.

I can see a reason for automated trading but the manual process does enforce trust.

Hey, Dokdocoin!

The 'manual trading' is an important part of our trust-building project -- Un-Ex is trust-building project.

But . . . partial automation is a thing we have been discussing. I will get some more details.

Mark and I had a discussion a while ago regarding a shared mining project regarding genesis (We have some alt-cloud there).

My response was that people within the community would be quite happy, willing and capable of running their own mining through something like Genesis cloud so a cooperative venture might feel like a gimmick or scam attempt.

Still I thought I'd drop this here and see if anyone had an idea as to the kind of benefit to be had by cooperating a mining venture.
