Even just using search engines to collate content for a post is use of AI. (Maybe not the search engine in THIS forum  Grin )

A little off-topic, but this search engine is a farce. Google is also not optimized to search for bitcointalk posts. I have been trying to scrape Bitcointalk posts to make an ElasticSearch search engine, but I need several TB of free disk space that I don't have.

Doing researches via ninjastic.space is giving great results!
I totally ignore the default search bar from the forum since I discovered this website

If you want rules to be made in regards to AI posts, your going to have to petition theymos about it (e.g. make a thread requesting a change in forum policy).

But how would you assess if the rule has been broken?

Pretty much impossible to do in my opinion.

@mprep

Considering recent discussion around this topic, is it possible that we have some clear rules surrounding the use of AI in writing posts, and in which cases it is appropriate and not appropriate to use AI in posts? (See [1][2][3])

[1]: AI-generated post discussion thread: how to identify & report
[2]: This gets me worried, I think the 'Brains' in the forum should look into it
[3]: The J.A.R.V.I.S AutoReply Protocol Initiative (JARPI) - Powered by ChatGPT
AFAIK in terms of forum policy, this assesment of mine still applies:

If an AI is able to consistently create content that doesn't break any of the forum's rules (good quality, on-topic, not just a padded word salad, no plagiarism, etc, etc), I, for one, welcome our new machine overlords. Otherwise, content that violates the rules, AI or human produced, can already be dealt with with our current rules and policies in mind.

If you want rules to be made in regards to AI posts, your going to have to petition theymos about it (e.g. make a thread requesting a change in forum policy).

Am I allowed to create a thread under "Bounties" in Altcoin section if we actually dont have a token but a playable NFT we're giving away for community growing/outreach tasks?

Sorry, I'd rather ask and be sure then get banned for breaking (any) rules!
NFTs, by their own definition, are tokens so yes. Read through the pinned threads in Bounties (Altcoins) before you post your thread there though.

This is a great work I must say.

But I couldn't find guidelines for posting. I want to understand if there's a time limits to posts. What I mean is if I make a post now how long do I need to wait to make another post or I can make posts many time?
If you have a good reason for missing the posting deadline when your account was a newbie, let LoyceV know your top reason and maybe you'll get a chance to be whitelisted.

Apart from that you can also buy copper members if you really want to go past those limits but if you want to enjoy your newbie days with some limitations then that's ok then enjoy until you rank up to higher levels and have the waiting time is getting smaller between posts you make. But by the way, you've been told the guide in the post before me.

It's dependent on your activity score.

What are the time limits on posting and the levels??
I know 360 seconds are for new people like me, but was wondering if there was break down somewhere on this.

Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

Hello please, how should i go about my account being on red trust. I need help so i can be accepted back for some major bounties please
Here is the answer to this question, which is still relevant:
Newbies: The trust system isn't moderated! If someone leaves you negative trust, deal with it - it's not getting removed. You can leave trust back, and if that person is in the default trust list, you can ask for them to be removed, but otherwise, just PM the person and ask civilly.

thanks for answer Xal0lex. But i worry what my link this is exchanche Binance. (I have long seen somewhere on the forum that links to exchangers are prohibited)
You can post links to exchangers, such as binance. However you cannot post referral link spam in your posts. So you can either post binance, or you could tell someone to check your signature to get the link to binance (with a ref link), provided that doing so is not off topic.

This is the first I've heard of it. What is the difference between a Binance referral link and referral links to other services? Or is it forbidden to mention Binance on the forum? Smiley

I'm not a @mprep Wink, but I'll allow myself to quote this one:

You are allowed to put referal links in your signature, the main concern with referal links is people creating spam to give out their referal links. You can put whatever you want in your signature as long as its not a link to malware, or if its a link to a NSFW site, please label it as such. Nothing sucks worse than getting into a bad situation because that buycoinsdirect.com link in your signature is actually a cam site. Different user groups, IE legendary/Newbie have different restrictions on what sort of formating is able to be used in their signature. For example newbie accounts can't have links, certain usergroups can't have styled signatures, etc. That is disabled by settings not something you can accidentally mess up.

Can you find what you saw and where you saw it?

In the opening post, there's this about exchanges:

22. Advertising (this includes mining pools, gambling services, exchanges, shops, etc.) in others' threads is no longer allowed, including, but not limited to, in altcoin announcement threads.

Nothing about signatures in there.

And to add to Xal0lex reply, here is the rule from the opening post about referral links:

4. No referral code (ref link) spam.

Spamming would be positing irrelvant messages with your referral link, including messages saying "check my signature".

So it looks like you are safe to put a referral link in your signature.

Fair enough. Maybe I (or someone else) will be able to come up with a better implementation (wording) of this in the future.

I had noticed that complaints about moderation (and reposts of deleted posts) were being edited out of some posts, even when some of the post was on-topic (and was allowed to remain).

You should create a separate ban appeal thread, this is not the right place for your grievances.

No doubt it’s gonna be packed with concerned mods and cobra will be there too because currently they have no idea.
