After setting 2: Try restarting the miner from the pools menu by just hitting the submit button without changing anything.

Also I think if you get the extranonce working it changes the version of cgminer that is running to 4.8.0 which you can check from the main page.

I've tried restarts (and reboots), with and without changes - but just again now to be certain.  No change.  I am cgminer 4.7.0 across the board.

Question, how do you get extranonce subscribe to work on latest firmware?
Under settings I have 2 set in the FLAG box..

I put #xnsub after my westhash pool in the gui and it just stays in a dead state.
If I take off the #xnsub its alive.
Ive tried restarting the miner entirely as well, no change.

Update to latest FW and set "Settings->Extraflag" to 2.

reread my post ... I updated to latest firmware =P
2.5.64 according to my miner...

In settings->flag ... I have in that box 2

but it doesnt work

I have the same issue/question as GenTarkin - with pictures.  Smiley

Firmware up to date:

Unfortunately decent power supplies cost at least twice the price of the one you bought.

update:

what i tried now works stable ... with your information about voltage and the psu :

0,67 v for all 4

max 0,67

wait wait wait .... 288 watts ??
regrads

no keep the volt settings

0,670 for the 4

 0,675 for max

do the 4 watts at
 180
180
180
 180

try that for an hour or 2

0,69 for all 4 psu settings

0,79 for maximum

ps how can i attach a picture?

best regards

try .65  for the 4

try .655 for max

what is happening is the most your psu can supply is 180-200 per cable.

you set at 170 watts sounds good.

buy the volts are too high.  the sp20 goes to the volt settings first then looks at watts second.

so you volts are set too high for those psu's

but wait why does 150 watts work?   I believe  setting of 120 watts 150 watts 180 watts  have a volt override  better then setting like 170 or 165.

I think if you do
.65
.65
.65
.65

max .655

with 150 watts you would be fine
then keep volts the same and bump watts to 160
then keep volts the same and bump watts to 170

well you have solved the problem set at 150 watts. the psu's are most likely garbage psu's.

please show all us  volt settings. while I research the psu.

I did some research

 http://skinflint.co.uk/eu/inter-tech-combat-power-cp-modular-750w-atx-2-2-88882084-a693333.html

multi rail psu  not 750 watts but 650 watts

each rail rates to 20 amps

so at best you could use  2 rails from each psu.

which in theory should do about 180 watts each with out over load.
they are not doing that but everything I find about these psu's = low quality
also you may be picking 1 rail not two since I can not tell how to pick pcie connections so that they are on different rails

Hy guys can anyone help me about my new sp20

i´m using 2x Inter-Tech Combat Power, aktive PFC, 750 Watt  (    http://www.future-x.at/inter-tech-combat-power-aktive-pfc-750-watt-p-73253/    )

what i´m getting is a shutdown after slow start

as long as i have the settings on 150 w everything works great

when i put it to 170w or more the shit breaks and first the psu and few seconds later the sp20 shuts down.

best regards

It will drop for sure! look back at undervolting s1! and now with the monsters from several blades with 50watt/blade...

undervolting S3 was never close to that successful like on S1 before. That is why I guess the same for S5

I doubt that efficiency "eta" will drop that much with 9v PSU.
But why not trying it before waiting with a big resistor to drop voltage as in school? at only 240 watt it won't get too hot and you will have some figures in front.

347$ shipped at home? was it a gift?

it should have been 387.  I was given a 40 coupon.

800 GH/s for 340$ plus shipping and taxes is not that sexy today, it's expensive.
then you drive much better with that special 9V PSU and bulk S3 which are somewhere around 0,3$ per GH/s

My last s-5 was 347 shipped to my home.  Now the mods don't exist as of today.

if they do.

the s-5 will be about 400-420  usd silent at 240 watts. and 800 gh

the sp20 at fan speed of 15  and hash of 1200gh is not silent costs 595 for 1 shipped to your home.

so for a person wanting 1 miner which my example was :

 420 usd and 800 gh          .3 watts         s-5

 or 595 usd and 1200 gh     .5 watts       sp20

now I own 8 sp20's and have 1 s-5 on order.

So for today you can see what I prefer (sp20's)

but if in 3 weeks I can have an s-5 doing 800 gh at .3watts

 I want that
just remember it is a goal not a reality as of today.
