Is there some code review planned for this coin ? It's probably pure genius but having official opinions from trusted crypto experts would be a must  Smiley

how 0 confirmation can be safely achieved ?
level of anonimity ?
etc...

most people can't understand how vnl works (me) and we need techy voices to explain it i think  Smiley

from memory there was a bitcoin core dev doing a review. You might have to get in contact with CryptoClub for more info.

Not sure if I mentioned it here, but a Bitcoin dev I know is doing a code review for Vanillacoin. Funny thing, he was commenting in my group about some other coin he didn't approve of code-wise, and I explained I can't really do code reviews and I just go on the fundamentals. Anyway, he want's to help out the crypto scene and is working on the code review for Vanillacoin. Super technical and it will be a paper, but what I know so far is it definitely isn't a scam based on sheer amount of work, and he agrees it "shines" compared to most alts. He had some pros and cons, and I tried to explain it was still in progress and being worked on. Anyway, it was good enough news that I bought more. Smiley

When it is done I will publish on my website cryptocollectorsclub.com, and in the group link at the bottom of my sig. I asked him to do SDC next just as I have always been curious how good or bad the code is on that as well.

"vnl is simplicity in all its complexity, could be the Apple of cryto"

Where to download android client?

https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/150/android-beta-apk   Wink

The only hindrance is that it isn't listed as Google Play ready hence not being searchable on the store.

If that could be done then any non-standard crypto user who searches up the name VanillaCoin will see the Android wallet & get into VNL almost instantly.

This will eventually come once the mobile wallets beta is finished and the final releases comes out (still need a final review to get the iOs wallet listed on the Apple App Store) Smiley

OK,I have download!thanks!

blockchain is stored on mobile device with android wallet ?

If so, i may need to finally buy some memory card for my phone  Cheesy

Yeah, a full blockchain is stored currently (if I recall correctly, it may only hold a partial blockchain in the future). Total size of the Android app is 530 mb atm.

Where to download android client?

You can easily find the link in the OP.

I guess the final release will be listed on Google Play just as the iOS app will be on AppStore (now it's on the official TestFlight program), so that shouldn't be a problem.

Just staked on my android phone!

Other people have as well, but I figured I might as well post proof.

Address:
Edit: Deleted this.  Just remembered bitcointalk's addresses rule.  Added pic of address instead.

2nd Edit: If you're wondering why the total on the android phone is slightly different from the total in that address, the answer is change addresses.  It's mainly from this tx: https://blockchain.vanillacoin.net/tx/6a09ca331daffb58efcaf34de98861a026677e3c15335e33b1542d1a02e752ce --  179.99950000 is in a change address in the phone's wallet.

Proof of staking:

Also in case anyone missed it: https://twitter.com/vanillanewsbits/status/605877720145235968

UDP Layer and O(1) routing integration is near and with it we are probably getting closer to 0 confirmation txs.

if so, will be the first decentralized crypto to achieve this ! this is big !

bye bye ripple and str, we don't need u around anymore, i won't miss you Smiley
