UDP Layer and O(1) routing integration is near and with it we are probably getting closer to 0 confirmation txs.

Poloniex VNL deposits now only require 1 confirmation.

Somewhat big news imo.  BTC is the only other coin on Poloniex that requires 1 confirm.

Sadly was away from my comp for 1-2 days, this is huge news, we can now deposit and get confirmed in 1.5-3 minutes. Hope bittrex will follow up soon.

if you were smart you would be buying up vanilla now, as we are not far away from the implementation of 0 second transactions, which is a big deal.

buy now or buy @ x10 - thats all up to you.

hmmm...  i'm thinking of buying in at around x7

remember: buy low, sell high.
it's that easy ;-)

shit! right.  keep forgetting

Does anyone know if the mining software for the MOJO V3 will work on another FPGA with a Spartan 6 chip?  Or is it proprietary to that FPGA?
The MojoV3 design is a prototype that will not work on any other FPGA's. The MojoV3 itself while an excellent prototyping board won't yield any significant amount of hash-rate however we are experimenting with other types of boards based off the prototype design. Cool

Official VNL Discussion is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1064326.20

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for the information - I was going to purchase some FPGA's to start accumulating some hardware.  I am glad I asked first.  Thanks again.  I think it prudent I wait until you guys finish your work. - pokeytex

Should work with Xilinx boards or basically anything with Spartan 6 chips that have similar specs/features.

Jump on IRC if you have a specific board in mind and ask John, he will happily help.

If you are in Europe than these would be also good: http://www.ztex.de/usb-fpga-1/usb-fpga-1.15y.e.html It has 4 Spartan 6 chips on it. Some people were searching for used ones on IRC since people used to mine Bitcoin with these, but they were never really making a ROI on it. Also these FPGAs should have a really long lifespan.

Any reason why the link you sent is only available in Europe?  Thanks - pokeytex

when mining starts again ?
at block #137833
https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/143/temporary-proof-of-work-pause-at-block-117833/3
now block #125926
https://blockchain.vanillacoin.net/

~1000blocks at 60h
about 216s/block
~29,7days until PoW ll be resume
i wonder why  POW pause but diff still around 12k?

With no new blocks being generated it can't recalculate the difficulty so it will just sit at 12k until the next block and diff will adjust again

oh i see, thanks you so much!

Anyone ever do the "no jerking it" challenge with their friends before? That's what this PoW pause is like.
