I don't like politics and I don't vote or take sides but I came across this article earlier and I'd be curious to know what you Trump supporters make of it

Whatever happened to free speech? So now it's about snuffing out anything that's not holy? If so then where does it end?
I know what my questions sound like but believe it or not, I think his move is perfectly okay. I just want to hear what you guys have to say.

The "blog" is Gateway Pundit. Jim Hoft was one of those gay conservatives who kept his private life private. Until today, because of the massacre cold-blooded mass murder.

I did not take it down but it "could" be a fake account or a hacked account?

And you know what makes me angrier still? The fact that I have to hide my identity and remain anonymous in writing this essay. If I outed myself as a Trump supporter, I would be harassed and doxxed and shunned by everyone I know and by the Twitter lynch mobs which up until yesterday I myself led.
I am ashamed. I am angry. And I am sad. I don't want to vote for Trump, but I must. And if you care about the safety of the gay community in America, so must you.

The City of Cleveland is attempting to suppress pro-Trump rallies during the Republican National Committee, a move even the liberal ACLU calls unconstitutional.

Democratic city officials are giving pro-Trump groups only 24 hours to complete applications for 'Free Speech permits' which severely restrict the First Amendment rights of applicants.

"There is only 18 hours of permit time under these regulations, parade time, over the three or four days of the convention," ACLU General Counsel Susan Becker said.  "We just found out about that recently."

"So we are hoping we can really negotiate these points but it is really up to the city to come back with more reasonable time, place and manner of regulations that we can live with."

Insiders have described both the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga Co. as Democratic machines in Hillary Clinton's pocket, and if they're able to suppress Trump supporters, anti-Trump protestors will dominate the city – and international media coverage.

Under Cover San Jose Officer #1: […] Throughout the afternoon and evening I watched several individuals wearing “Trump” articles of clothing getting punched, kicked and pushed.

Under Cover #2: […] I was assigned to the Covert Response Unit and dressed in a plainclothes capacity. … As time came closer to 18:00 more protesters arrived; mostly younger males and females between the ages of 14 to 25.  … some began burning the United States flag in the middle of the street. It became inherently dangerous for anyone wearing a hat or T-Shirt in support of Trump.  I observed Trump supporters being spit on, objects being thrown at them, punched, kicked and even robbed of their personal belongings.  In these instances I observed victims running for their lives because protesters began adopting the mob mentality and attacking people.  I was unable to make contact with any of these victims due to my undercover capacity and fear for my own safety as well.

San Jose Police Chief Garcia admitted his officers were instructed not to stop violent protesters from beating the Trump rally attendees.
