I did more than 100 posts and complied with the requierements and I got paid 10 times less! 0.0035 instead of 0.035! Im leaving this!
Check out new campaign of DaDice. They are paying more than Bitmixer and their limit is higher. You may be interested.

Post in alternate cryptocurrencies don't count anymore and this is your favourite section (Most Popular Boards By Posts: Announcements (Altcoins)      781).

The altcoin section is known to be the most spammed section of the entire forum (along with the speculation section). Ads appearing there are usually dwarfed out by the shear number of posts made by trolls/spammers and some nice posters.

Same thing could be said about gambling with its subsections, that are usually full of spam. You could probably find more one-worders in "games and rounds" than in the altcoin section. Not trying to undermine the decision here, just sayin'  Smiley

Actually both games and rounds and alternate cryptocurrencies are blocked. Many sig campaigns don't count posts in games and rounds for obvious reasons. Most allow posts in alternate cryptocurrencies so Bitmixer is a bit rare in this regard.

Might be due to the spammy low-quality posts in there but I'm sure they'll get some advertising from it but obviously they want to target certain sections or not pay for others. Besides, I would rather signature campaigns got tougher than them removed or stopped all together.
Of course, but I'm not aware of any signature ban plans. We had them for years without problems.

There is also the possibility of a voluntary removal. If insubstantial posts become a large enough problem that it affects the effectiveness of the campaign, then either the operator could tighten their rules and remain profitable or choose not to do so and close up.

I wouldn't say they're without problems but they could get banned eventually or there's always the possibility. I don't think we should take them for granted or use the logic that they won't ever go away because they haven't already.

one of the reasons is Bitmixer doeasn't mix altcoins, only bitcoins

But most altcoiners also very likely use bitcoin. Most will trade their crapcoins for bitcoin eventually or when they can.

That's what I had in mind. Altcoin traders are more likely to own bitcoin than people posting in some other sections like politics and society. If you have a general coin related business, altcoiners are one of your target groups.

The rules are getting more and more strict.
I also think that it's strange altcoin section got banned. It's one of the most popular boards on the forum and read by people, who usually own coins and might use bitmixer's services.

Wouldn't mixing coins be unnecessary if you're trading bitcoins to altcoins and vice versa? I admit I don't know much about how mixing works but I understand that it severs the link between two addresses, right? So an altcoiner who deposits BTC into Cryptsy, trades his bitcoins for altcoins, and occasionally withdraws his altcoins into his altcoin wallets for example would not really have any use for a Bitcoin mixing service.

Also not sure if it's relevant or not but I've found that people posting there usually don't have paid sigs anyway. Sigs there tend to be altcoin-related. It's really its own separate universe.

The rules are getting more and more strict.

You'd be surprised. Many probably do have some BTC but it usually only forms a fraction of their total coins. I was very surprised to find out that Come-from-Beyond - a highly-respected legendary member with almost 900 activity who has been here since 2011 and is the head dev of NXT has 0 BTC:

DO you ever succeeded?
As far as I know, most of exchange only demand 1 confirmation.

I haven't even tried. With my current balance of 0 BTC it's quite hard.

Due to overspamming we added two positions to the rules:

Important update
- We don't pay for posts less than 75 symbols length.
- We don't pay for posts in Off-topic / Games and rounds / Alternate cryptocurrencies and this thread.

I really like the last rule, which is not paying for posting in this thread, I think other signature campaigners should apply this rule as well, I see a lot of posts from other sig campaigners posting in this thread as well just to get their counts increase by stating things too obvious.

its ok with Off-topic / Games and rounds  this section but now
this section also Alternate cryptocurrencies?

i got only 0.0140000000 btc

i made more than 50 post

why ?

Were any of the posts in the alternate cryptocurrencies board or in games and rounds, off-topic, or this thread? The rules were changed recently so that these posts aren't counted. They'll still show up when you go to http://bitmixer.io/signature.html but they'll be automatically deducted from your final post count during payment.

so why its almost accurate 0.014 payout
no third digit payout i made over 52 post

Not sure if you read my EDIT: but posts under 75 characters are no longer counted. This generally excludes quotes too. That's the only reason I could think of. Could that be the reason why?

EDIT: I just looked at your posting history and it looks like most of your posts weren't in the above boards (which is good!) although some posts were under the 75 character limit. That could be the reason why.

Not a member of this sig campaign but it's one I've been following for a while so I thought I might add some input to the discussion.

I am new to the campaign (two payments), and it is hard for me to see how I will ever post 50 times in one week.  (Of course, being somewhat of a beginner and not a programmer would make it harder for me to reach 50 "worthwhile" posts)

LOL, I doubt it's mostly programmers who are the ones making that many posts. Well, maybe some of them are.

Right, this is my only gripe for now, it's useful to look at that tracker page to see how many posts you're going to be paid for.  Now you have to try to remember how many of your posts (of those listed) might have been in off-topic or shorter than 70 chars.  It would be really wonderful if you could run the filter whever you print the "posts to pay number".

If I remember correctly, there are certain reasons why that would not be optimal - although I agree it would be convenient. For one, it would mean that the bot would have the scan the forums a lot more frequently. I'm not sure how this would negatively impact the workings of the sig campaign but I suppose either this could have performance implications, might not be scalable, or it could have some negative effect on the forums on a technical level:

OK. But, I have same number of posts to pay. 34 I think. I will only get payed for few because most of them are under 75 symbols. Will you add to bot to count only posts which will pay?
In order to reduce bitcointalk grabbing/parsing we analyse posts only on paying. You may see this week "New posts", but probably not all of them will be paid.
