Using social media for bitcoin is good, a lot of people now using social media to endorse bitcoin so that they will know that bitcoin is really good and increases its value so a lot of people will be interested in bitcoin when they see if how much bitcoin should be when you converted it to fiat.
I don't think that social media marketing will be any of help for Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a currency in which is use for transactions and exchanges, how will a social media ad help Bitcoin in any way in the first place? For me Bitcoin is not some kind of product in which we need to advertise to spread awareness but what we need is the actual use of the currency to make people aware more about it.
I agree with you. Currently bitcoin is even more used as an investment. Whereas the initial goal of bitcoin is used as a digital currency and is projected to replace the current fiat currency. There should be a way to improve people's thinking, for me advertising on social media will be quite helpful by connecting it with a link that explains bitcoin. But of course this depends on everyone who read and apply it in real life. We can not force everyone to obey what we want, we all just try to do our best. If we talk about social media and bitcoin, the two things are very related, for example, twitter and facebook, almost all bounty altcoin there bounty social media like twitter and facebook, for instagram there is never bounty. But on twitter, facebook, and youtube there is a lot of information about bitcoin and altcoin, I just know about bitcoin from facebook
yes there is alot of information about bitcoin and altcoin on facebook twitter and youtube. the social media is very helpfull for promoting the awareness of bitcoin. alot of people are aware about bitcoin from socialmedia. but many people dont believed on them. we can aware those people whose on word of mouth and can show the price of bitcoin in market and show our earning.

Almost everyone who has understood what Bitcoin is or what cryptocurrencies are, have tried to share that technology with their family and friends but it's not that easy to convince them about it. Some people have lots of misconceptions about Bitcoin and they'll never understand, can't do anything about it.
Its to share bitcoin to our friends, family and relatives. But if there is a misconceptions about it try to explain it more or again until they understand it. We can used social media to spread more about what bitcoin is.With followers around the world, we can use social media campaigns as a means of promoting bitcoin around the world. That's a great way to advertise bitcoin.
So recently I was using this app called Instagram (in case some of you never heard of it) and I posted some pictures & videos related to Bitcoin on my Instagram Stories (Like that day when the price goes insanely high and keep going til now). Then 2 days ago some of my friends suddenly asked me about what Bitcoin is & how could the price goes up like that. And I was surprisingly glad to know that I've influenced some people to get to know Bitcoin. And then I introduced them to Bitcoin and answer their questions about it, there were 3 people asking about Bitcoin that day just because of this 1 post.
I mean why don't we just use this power of social media to make people aware about this Cryptocurrency, well I know that there are already some people doing this (like those YouTube channels).
But what I'm talking about here is to us to post something about Bitcoin on our social media, you can just at least post something like your first transaction with Bitcoin and share your story on your Facebook or take the picture of your book that you just bought from the internet using your Bitcoin and then post it on your Twitter.

This is not a bad idea, not just bitcoin, people use social media campaigns to advertise a lot of other coin, this is normal. I think we should use social media campaigns for any business. We can totally trust its quality.

If majority of your friends are not open to new things and like to use the mainstream then theres a low chance that your post will be noticed. But if you have friends who are open to ideas and open to risks then post away and you'll see a lot of curious query in your mailbox.
Exactly we can use social media to encourage our friend and relatives to use it. But it depends to them if they are going to used it or not. Because some of our friends and relatives are not interested in this kind of thing. But we are lucky if they are interested to because we will have more time and bonding with just talking about it.
I agree that we can use social media to explain people about bitcoin. I want to share my experience here, Few months ago I posted a snap of my paper wallet on instagram profile and people/friends started asking me about it. Some of them are willing to buy bitcoins but I suggested them to learn more about it before investing. I can vouch that such activities really help.

I think with you follow the social media bounty, indirectly you have introduced bitcoin to all your friends. This is very true once, the use of social media such as instagram, facebook, twitter etc. Very important in disseminating a news. I often use social media to share experiences with other friends. Many are interested and asked about the news that I conveyed in the social media. Sometimes I also ask through the media because there are things I do not understand. Especially news that I often convey is news about bitcoin. I love the news. A lot of what I read in social media about bitcoin that is very meager.
Yah right besides using social media we also socialize bitcoin to our friends so that they realize that bitcoin is very usefull. Social media you can share the latest posts on bitcoin or info about bitcoin.
What OP trying to say is what was happening from long time but the main problem is out of 100% 90% of them use this social media for bitcoin awareness was just for scamming peoples that is why bitcoin is not getting much attention on social media, only your friends circle will see and can ask you other will just watch and you can hope that atleast 1 person can come and inquire about it.

Thats really a great idea.Using face book,we could easily spread news about bitcoin to as many friends we have by sharing.Inturn they would share it to their friends and bitcoin could be made familiar to more people easily.But since its a new concept,most of them may think it as a scam project and hence we should provide them relevant details and give replies to to their queries regularly.
That is a very lovely idea. At least if we all can do that, apparently, we can take bitcoin's awareness to the next higher level. Some people want to know about bitcoin which not everyone can easily go on Google to start reading. The idea that they have someone in their clique with great idea will make them want to ask questions and voila! additional people into the chain and the more stable and valuable it gets.
I like this kind of idea, it is just like advertising bitcoin publicly especially with your friends it is a big help for the community because there are lots of social.media users that does not know what bitcoin is. I guess you can also use twitter and instagram since that two are on top of social media nowadays, especially they are going to be curious what is this post about then ask then be enlightened.
