So what's the upper limit then? Is there an upper limit to the coin supply? Or will this inflate at 60% per year?
There is no upper limit.V inflation is well controlled - there is 200 V max reward cap.
60% POS rate was started from the block 536699 (2015-06-17), total moneysupply was 337615843 V.
Today's moneysupply is 364690870 V (block 882095, 2015-11-21).
So for 5 months period inflation was only about 8% which should led to about 20%-25%/year.
