VaultMex Crypto Security Guidelines for Newbies & Experienced Cryptocurrencies Users

1) Don't use SMS 2FA on your accounts

2) Set a 2FA or U2F authentication method whenever possible and always save the backup key in a safe storage place.

3) Get a Hardware Wallet and use it. If you still want to use a software wallet use an HD wallet (such Electrum) and avoid using Bitcoin-core if you are a complete newbie.

x) Don't be too lazy or too stupid to avoid fowllowing the aforementioned points

4) Check the SSL connection of the website you are visiting when you are dealing with moving funds and sensitive information to avoid phishing attempts.

5) Never download executables or other files from untrusted sources. If you are doing it double check with antiviruses and community feedbacks on the internet.

6) Stay anonymous. The most you can, of course.

7) Use always a "trusted" VPN (no free ones!) on untrested public wifi networks to avoid data spoofing

XCL daemon is synced, as you should know since you deposited and withdrew coins smoothly.


There is a bug which don't show XCL connections and block count on the status maybe, thanks for pointing that out, we are going to check and fix that.
