Thats pretty cool, I see some similarity here to the Populous Gold XAUp Token is also valid only for 12 month then you take delivery of a physical goldcoin or you get back the price of one ounce of Gold in USD to that time.

Also it generates 9% interest paid upfront at buying time (this is the interest for lending it out 12 months)

Yes, it is possible to lend it out and earn a return, but I think you use it to back loans and the opportunities are probably limited right now. I could be wrong about this.

Also, when you buy the gold, it's only good for a few years. I think Reggie said something like the price of the token includes 3 years of storage so I think you need to redeem the token before then.

Also of note, VERI has applied and the application has been accepted for a securities broker/dealer license. There is no indication and no way to know when or if it will be granted.

this is the biggest problem of such exchanges. there is not enough liquidity. and in order to improve the situation, we need several such exchanges. mercatox still looks better than average, but they need to add a market maker so that you can talk about normal trading.

I've never had any issues.

When veri was still listed on HitBTC, the spread between the buy and ask queue was much narrower than what it is now for Mercatox. The narrower the spread, the better it is for buyers and sellers. I surmise that the narrow spread is because of greater liquidity due to a greater number of traders on both sides of the trade. So, I would hope for veri to be listed on a centralised exchange with a good number of investors.
