As the experts predicted the market will recover in early 2019. If we talk about 2018, it is the year of correction for the crypto market and the alts which survived this correction have some potential. Hope for the best and wait for the pump.
I think it will be in a couple of years. Some of those projects that did ICO will be successful after completing their projects.

I agree that the current decline in prices is a correction that occurred in the market after a significant increase before, we do have to be patient with market conditions and believe that the market will soon increase, in crypto everything is unpredictable, so the possibility of bullrun is very large
I believe in a new wave of market growth. This is very important now. If the market starts growing, many projects will actively announce and release new upgrades. This may increase the interest of traders.
There are many opinions that this could happen in 2020, but not before, maybe now there is a good opportunity to invest in tokens that will show positive results in the new wave of market growth.
Cryptocurrency requires patience, persistence and hardwork. If you are investing in cryptocurrency then you need to be patient with the bear market, because you will be frustrated with the rate at which altcoins dump. But your patience will be largely rewarded later.

Hope that what you say become truth and I know that a lot of peoples even pray for that. We are now in very low positions and there is a lot of stress connected with that. But believers in expensive BTC is still alive and active.
You are right. But please don't pray or dream. The rise will happen for sure, but it should happen not by a miracle but the fundamental causes. Bitcoin exists for more than 10 years, and it works flawlessly. Bitcoin is a perfect piece of cryptography science, it's better than a dollar or gold. The world needs Bitcoin to control the money by an overall community of people, not governments or banks. It has undeniable value and power, and the rise is just inevitable. 
It’s very important to be hopeful about the future of crypto market. I can see many people are still sad and they’re losing their hope. So i think we shouldn’t be waiting for a specific time, we should be more patient. Market growth could be anytime!
Of course, we have to wait, but many have already panicked. Waiting too long, and growth is not even visible. There is a strong opinion of analysts that the market will continue to fall. Of course, I would like to hope for the best, but we can not influence it in any way.

I think that a new wave of growth will not come until the market falls completely. In the meantime, it's still bearish and slowly falling down. Maybe in a few months it will reach the bottom.

As we were able to see from the example of 2018, the “soon” concept is extremely stretchable. However, I believe that a recession of 1-3 years is not a long time for the crypto market, remember that earlier Bitcoin was worth less than a dollar.
I think that a new wave of growth will not come soon, as now the cryptocurrency market will fall and it will fall for quite a long time. I hope for growth, but I think that it can begin only at the end of the year.
I have to agree wholeheartedly with you, there are so many developments being made right now in the blockchain sphere, many mainnets are being launched, many promises are we use to read in whitepaper are now being actualised.
The market will definitely have growth/pump, the race is a marathon. the investment strategy will definitely change before we see good profit, good positioning in the bear market will be well rewarded. I want to sometimes believe in Vitalik opinion that altcoin may not see 1000% but with this level of market dump, close to 90%, we might see close to 1000% when market revives maybe not more.

Back in nov/dec 2017, I was making around $800 a day through day trading.
Volume was so high and the bullish market made it possible.
I also made a bunch of quick flips in icos where I would usually get at least 4x profit.
The biggest one for me was Appcoins where I got 8x profit.
Just like that I had turned my initial $2500 dollar investment (way back in Oct 2016) into a $150,000 portfolio.
I felt like I was high on drugs lol.
I estimated that at that pace, I would be a millionare by mid 2018 so I didn't cash out.
Then everything came crashing down...
The thing is, I would be much closer to being a millionare if I would have cashed out and then bought up now, with btc being in the $3000s...
But that is one of the biggest problems.
