That bull run was confirmed after we saw many private and public institutions invested in cryptocurrency. When multi-billion dollars company like American Express Company, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, Mizuho Financial Group, BHP Billiton Limited, Oracle Corporation, Tencent Holdings, etc buying crypto then it's not so easy to dump the market. I can mention 50 more big company name that is investing in cryptocurrency. They are not like retail investors who will be happy with small gains.  These companies are here to stay and looking for a big profit.

Well this is a good move that other companies are started to learn or becomes interested in crypto. Massive adoptions that make the price climb in the market. Just like in PayPal adopt crypto, people who have doubt in bitcoin at first becomes more interested to learn how bitcoin works. So with this Visa if in case will happen, for sure we can expect a number of users increase.
hopefully this can make the cryptocurrency industry grow more and more widely so that it can have a good influence on the price of cryptocurrency which can make it expensive.

I think it's only a matter of time before other big parties and big institutions adapt to crypto. with a trend that is so positive every day and also many famous people who are starting to recognize crypto will begin to accelerate the crypto process into a general currency that might be massively applied

it will be a domino effect in the next coming years. the paypal's move will give confidence to other companies to get involve with crypto. though long-time crypto users will not use this platform, still paypal has other millions of users that may be interested in their crypto services. this will be a good initiation for them in crypto. and once they learn more about btc, and other alts, they will now explore other crypto transactions outside of paypal's platform.
now, with other financial institutions getting interested, noncrypto users will now start to educate themselves regarding crypto so as not to be left behind with these digital currencies.

Since its inception, Bitcoin has been considered the only online cryptocurrency. But in all the cases in which it will used, it have beyond the reach of ordinary people. It is the next currency system so PayPal has started to consider some issues. After PayPal, Visa started to support it, which is the beginning of going one step further for Bitcoin. I'm sure of it, in the near future, the proliferation of Bitcoin will be a pioneer in capturing the currency market among all people.

This is what I keep saying about paypal adoption and its effect to our crypto market. If paypal succesfully adopt crypto then other large company will follow and it's only matter of time until there's many integration to these traditional finance institution.
Although there's already so many services like debit card that uses Visa but if crypto could be accepted to many banks it will be even better. Just imagine when crypto reaches every corner of the world that's only possible if crypto considered as legitimate.
It will be a disaster if a lot of big wig companies adopt blockchain technology and bitcoin in their business model. They will not be in this to fully adopt, they want to copy how blockchain works and try to replicate it and make one of their own. There are companies right now doing this very same thing and I do not think it will a good news for crypto community when the masses are advertised to this company blockchain clone.

I keep seeing advertisements in my browsers and on my social media for Obsidian.
This is a Visa card where you earn CRO tokens so you can get free services like Spotify, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

Here is its site- https://crypto.com/en/cards.html

That’s for sure, they have to adopt or else someone will do it for them left them behind. Visa is a great and huge company as well, i hope for that they will push it through just like what Paypal did and I’m sure many will start to adopt Bitcoin and we can expect more pump in the market.

I really adhere via your concerns or comment, yeah although I know that their will be a new innovation concerning what Paypal perform, it will really make bitcoin to be more recognised to other higher companies, so their will competition in bitcoin market, and it's obvious that all cryptocurrency will accelerate via price.

^ I don't know if it's connected, it seems that Paypal accepting crypto is already having an effect on other big companies. mass adoption is getting in our sight, tighten your belt we will see the big bull run soon.
Honestly, Visa were trying to get into crypto months before paypal, by partnering coinbase.
So, paypal might just pushed them to try harder, but paypal wasn't the first one for sure

If that is the case, then cryptocurrency users should be really happy. Visa may have started their work earlier, but it was PayPal which finished it first. So obviously the credit should go to them. I have no idea when Visa will consider integrating Bitcoin to their platform. But it looks as if it may not happen this year. Anyway, 2021 is going to be a big year for cryptocurrency.

I don't know about mass adoption but the only thing I can see Paypal did is an advertising for Bitcoin, because of that they got some pretty decent profit out of it. I think Visa and mastercard has seen what Paypal did and is planning to recreate what Paypal did. I think they are just in to the money but not in adoption. Look at Paypal, they didn't really help with adoption because as you can see, you can't withdraw or deposit Bitcoin there, you can only buy from Paypal itself. You can't even properly trade there or you'll face suspension.

Somewhere, these are all connected. But if what you meant by connection here is that Paypal's decision to accept crypto is the direct cause of Visa's involvement in cryptocurrency, then you are probably wrong.

Paypal allowed buying and selling of cryptocurrency just this November. Visa's involvements with crypto could be traced back well before that. As a matter of fact, the articles linked in the OP which suggest that Visa is already making steps in support of crypto are old ones.

And also, don't forget that Visa has already made a partnership with Coinbase beforehand for the latter's crypto debit card.

Those are the old news. It's not clear whether VISA and master card will adopt crypto but as far as i know if they have stated if they wanna try to adopt the blockchain system to be a part of their business.
Paypal's stock has been getting a big surge caused by the cryptocurrency news. That may give the more awareness for more companies to adopt it.
This is about business.

Feels like they're more interested in running a business to milk some crypto opportunity than being interested in helping with the adoption of cryptocurrencies. PayPal has demonstrated that with facts ever since they've announced their so-called "Bitcoin support".

We've had Bitcoin bull runs before, but we've never had such a strong and quick, almost-forced move towards Bitcoin support all of a sudden. This may only be a little step towards the cashless society they're looking forward to create ASAP, because their plan now meets a lot of conditions we did not have before: pandemic, pre-bull run of BTC, adoption rate at an ATH etc.

Well, cryptocurrency grows so fast and this has been observed by other companies and wishing to get sales from these events. Since there is a huge money flows in cryptocurrency, a business minded individuals or owners of a certain certainly should decide whether to adapt on it or not to make more sales also in their business. Hence, joining cryptocurrency integrating it to their business is jot really a bad idea and  I see more and more companies will.be joining cryptocurrency soon.

Large scale industries are getting much interested over the bitcoin. Everytime the bull run is kept alive by some big news floating around. This time it's the participation of large scale firms into bitcoin acquiring. If I'm not wrong, it started with MicroStrategy making a big buy. Already we've got some service providers that've developed bitcoin ATM. Visa being a leader in the transaction support on fiat through cards getting interested in crypto will widen the market.

I have seen this information, it is obvious that this is great for the crypto industry as a whole, and will attract a large infusion of money to the crypto market. It will also increase the number of users of the crypto industry, which may extend the growth of the price of the cryptocurrency market to 2021. We may soon see new price records.

We have seen this coming a long time ago.

My only concern is that these companies are most likely not into BTC for the long run - they seem to be taking advantage of a fad that exists as a result of a bullish resurgence and market rally in 2020 and beyond. If markets crash, you'll see a lot of these firms withdrawing their interest altogether.

Now that's not necessarily bad, but I don't think it necessarily construes actual adoption. Actual adoption would entail offering a permanent line of business involving BTC transactions or integrating BTC into a diversified portfolio, which no mainstream firms have done thus far.
