Sunday update:
So, I have been busy researching... a lot.
My path is narrowing down to a very specific concept and vision. I always come back to one critical issue.
I compared all of the popular chains with significant hash power backing them, what they have in common and what puts them apart. What they all struggle to archive, is quite ironically, handle mass volume which is absolutely critical for mass adoption. This is my reasoning for focus only on transaction volume capacity and I am moving away from using BTC as the codebase. Bitcoin is not properly coded, its not easy to backtrack and understand the reasoning behind the endless additive updates, fixing problems by piling up technical debt, making the code only accessible and understandable for a handful of people, those who have been following its development as it went on. Making it very difficult for new devs to contribute to the codebase.
My approach is simple, I call it the Lean Blockchain. Getting rid of all the technical debt and strip the code to a bare minimum, focusing only on efficiency and optimising adaptability for the masses. For example, instead of implementing the full SegWit code, I'll narrow it down to the essentials only, the time function, because thats all what is needed for the LN to function. It will be the perfect fundament for future development unlike Bitcoin or any other coin. Bitcoin is a mess, full of technical debt and inefficient solutions to unnecessary problems.
Lightning Network is meant to fit Bitcoin, Veltor however will be tailored to fit the Lightning Network instead. There won't be any compromises anymore. Veltor will focus on being the ideal codebase for the LN, very much unlike Bitcoin.
Veltor focuses on one thing and one thing only. Efficient payment network, able to expand and serve the masses.
Unlike any other Blockchain.

Wow sounds like lots of work, but exciting
Is there a development timeline?
Thanks for the update!
