I do hold some altcoins, but I just feel like if a coin has to get PoD, then they're not doing it right. I'm not gonna name any, but none of the coins I hold are on that list. It just seems a lot more like proof-of-collusion or proof-of-paying-some-guy-named-cryptoasian than proof-of-developer imo.

Craigscoin is a joke... The dev is the developer for minerals coin and he sold out and bailed on that project, and will do the same again with this new coin. I just feel bad for the people who don't realize this since every post in the ANN saying it just gets deleted being that its a self-moderated thread! The only coins I think have any potential on this list are AERO and LIBREX

I think there's only so far you can go with advancements in the crypto tech. I think a coin should be valued far more on its real world application, alot of these anon coins will end up being used for nefarious purposes and in my opinion thats a huge negative as it will attract the attention of Law enforcment and Govt agencies. It also plays a huge factor in mainstream use and adoption of the coin.

I may be biased in my opinion but I believe cannabiscoin has a future and can be used legally for real world applications. 5 star + pod rating with dev's that are extremely focused on meeting their goals. Really cant ask for more than that.

Aero would be my 2nd choice for many of the same reasons as cannabiscoin.

I like the concept of AeroME. However, I believe Shadow's modular HTML wallet will introduce a new paradigm into the crypto ecosystem where developers can design and develop zero knowledge apps in HTML5 that benefit from Shadow's privacy technology i.e. apps, games, markets, exchanges etc.. When the API is documented we could see something like a ShadowStore similar to GooglePlay, Chrome Web Store or Apple's App store. Community developed applications focused on privacy where devs could possibly sell their apps for Shadow or introduce in-app purchases using Shadow. We'll end up seeing core Shadow apps like ShadowChat and developer apps like a casino game. Developers apps would benefit from Shadow core functionality like ShadowChat's upcoming video, voice and file support.

I'm not opposed to Aero, it looks like a great project and I wish it success in the future. I just believe a modular development platform decentralizes development away from the core team and opens up new opportunities for entrepreneurs and developers.

Im sure youre thinking that Aerocoin is a risk, and it may not work out as ive said... but what a fucking reward if it becomes the bitpay or coinbase of Alts.... Youre looking at a massive market, and a giant profit with this coin trading around 5k. These other coins are just as much a risk. youre counting on continuing to have your coin lead in tech inovation, the competition is massive, and growing. How risky is Aerocoin in comparison?

AeroMe drops in october. And if you read the white paper youll see that the platform will provide services that im not seeing a lot of in even bitcoin (payroll service, smartloans, decentralized exchange, auctions). Even if they do compete, theres room for a lot of companies. Coinbase, Bitpay, circle... theyre all raising millions in funding, and currently making money. I can buy a coin, and if the price goes up...then i make money. But with these companies, Theyre making a lot of money regardless of what bitcoin costs.

I dont disagree with you... Shadowcash might be the best inovation in crypto. But Aerocoin isnt competing with anon innovation. Its my belief that AeroME is going to end up as a platform for coins like shadow or stealth or dark or monero. "Aerocoins" could turn into "aeroshares" representing the platform...So you may have the best coin, but why wouldnt you want something that represents the best of the alts as a platform? The best coin and many others could be used on AeroMe. Its is a service that all alt coins will need. Theres a lot of companies for Bitcoin that have merchant service capabilities, and are making millions. AeroMe can be that platform for Alts (with many other features).

zk-snarks is one of the biggest advancements in cryptography at the moment, especially in relation to anonymity and blockchain compression. Adoption of zk-snarks will finally put the anon debate to rest once and for all. It's even acknowledged as superior by Maurice P, one of the founders of cryptonote.

Shadow already has a working Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) system in place with the latest ShadowLite release, that addresses some of the concerns about the signature; In addition, the proof sizes are even smaller than the ones quoted by Maurice. ShadowCash's approach is quite different to Zerocoin/ZeroCash. All in all the coming weeks will be very interesting for the anon space with Shadow. No doubt the only real investment right now in the anon space is Shadow. Investing in anything else in the anon space right now is pointless, as Shadow will wrapping up the anon debate.




The list grows and it's clear that the only coin on that list actually progressing crypto forward by original innovation in ShadowCash. Invest in hype or invest in actual development the choice is yours. The only real PoD is Proof of Development and Shadow eclipses every other coin on the list in that department.
