the guess is a 0.25% cut

since trump has said he will fire gary on jan 20 ie day one I wonder if he will do something nutty this adjustment.

common sense is a simple 0.25 drop nov 6,7 and same on dec 17,18

should be fun to guess if gary fucks around.

I personally think 🤔 he does negative 0.25

200-WMA is getting close to $41k, so the 200-WMA is moving up close to $30 per day (and likely higher than 20% per year),
That is some good technical analysis . So moving averages are good but support and resistance levels are not?

you seem to be quite blind if you believe that bitcoin is some kind of a mature asset class that is just going to continue to meander around its current price points and fail/refuse to go up or if bitcoin has equal chances of going down as it does to be going up.
Yes I think of bitcoin as a mature asset class as 9th biggest asset just below silver. I am not saying about 50-50 chances, I am bullish but you have to keep in mind crucial levels if you want to be more profitable or avoid too much short term risk.

they may well be better off to invest into bitcoin rather than to be fucking around trying to trade what it either one of the best of investments available or the best investment available, so why fuck around trading the best investment.  Hardly makes any sense,
Not everyone is loaded with bitcoins from early days. People need to move investments time to time (needs, better opportunities) and which is best time to move and not move, crucial support levels can help you a lot.

You can portray yourself however you like.
A fish Grin

when you come into this thread with trading ideas in regards to your bitcoin portfolio accumulation and/or management, then you might get some backlash in regards to those kinds of approaches to your bitcoin, and not just from me.
Bring it on!.

An overwhelming quantity of the world's population also have to get to a point of getting enough or more than enough BTC before they get to the more advanced problem of how to spend their BTC.
Same could be said for any asset class (gold, silver etc.).

You seemed to have been suggesting fucking around with trading in order to accumulate BTC, so it seems that I was responding more to those kinds of issues that you were raising rather than the less important 1st world problems that might confront a guy who has already accumulated enough BTC or more than enough BTC.

I am not going to automatically run past the initial phase in which a guy has to get through his BTC accumulation phase and perhaps even part of his maintenance phase before he is even ready to start liquidating.. so i think that you are getting ahead of yourself or even ahead of where I would like to discuss since those first to stages seem way more important to me, and the guy who has gotten enough BTC or more than enough BTC can pretty much do whatever the fuck he wants anyhow...so I am not too worried about that guy... but I am worried about the guys who end up fucking around in their accumulation and their employing trading strategies to their BTC accumulation.. since a lot of those guys are not even going to come even close to having the problem of accumulating enough or accumulating more than enough BTC... which they gotta get to that point first.
Classic chicken and egg problem. Your argument is good except you are neglecting the fact that trading BTC can be a method to acquire it. I know you are arguing about the demerits of trading and you want people to earn money (from something else) and then start accumulating BTC. I also understand your concern about trading in general but you will loose money in any venture in general if you do not learn and develop skills and to me trading is no different.

You're about to witness something no human in history has ever seen before.

What happens when near-infinite demand meets a finite good?
Bitcoin is humanity's first finite store of value.

No matter how much demand there is for it, you cannot create more.

The only way to satisfy demand is to increase the price to levels that convince people to sell.

But it gets MUCH harder to convince people to sell when major nation states start stacking.

Or when it becomes possible to reliably borrow against your Bitcoin through institutions like Cantor Fitzgerald.
Or hedge your stack via reputable options markets.

All of this could be reality within the next 6 months.

We are on the cusp of a new era for Bitcoin.

Trump ran on the promise of establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
And there are multiple people within the government that want the United States to acquire a dominant Bitcoin position as a counter to the BRICS stacking gold.
Trump has openly discussed using Bitcoin as a way to escape the $36 Trillion mountain of debt.

Two things are certain:

1. If the US starts stacking, every other country will be forced to follow.
2. When that happens, all of the price models and chart squiggles in the world are suddenly irrelevant

The gold market cap of ~$17.5 Trillion is an obvious target.

$850K per coin.

But that's merely a waypoint on a much bigger journey.

Why?

Because Bitcoin serves the same purpose that gold served for thousands of years...

But it's vastly superior in so many ways.

The iPhone and a rotary phone are both technically a phone, right?
But the iPhone is clearly far more valuable in today's world.

Similarly, Bitcoin and gold are both technically hard money stores of value.
But one is native to the digital world, finite, and can be sent across the world at the speed of light.

While the other one inflates at ~2% per year, needs to be melted down to be verified, and requires a plane to get across the world.

Gold isn't an enemy of Bitcoin.
It's a precursor to Bitcoin.

Nation states ditching sovereign debt in favor of gold is proof that the world needs a non-sovereign store of value.

All you have to do next is look at the trajectory of Bitcoin to see where this is headed.

Everything is setup for Bitcoin to emerge as the premier store of value for individuals, corporations, nation states, pension funds, and literally anyone else that needs to store value.

So you might want to get a little while it's still below $0.5M a coin.

Sorry, I messed up my quoting and that seems to have messed you up. I fixed it but apparently not in time.

In closing, I'll note that Trump's father, Frederick Trump, died at the age of 93 which may be a better indication of where to start than actuarial tables.

Kamala becoming president now would probably not mess with Trump much (other than filling his pockets as he sold more merch with 48 instead of the 47 already sold) but would probably make the legitimate election of a woman president much less likely in the near future.

Honestly, the Dems dug themselves a really big hole.

Yeah I vote purple say 60% Dems and 40% Republicans.

I have asked for and received  assistance from Congressman Chris Smith (republican congressman)

He did a lot for veterans and was responsible for increasing the death benefit for the military from 12,000 (a sad joke) to 250,000.

for which president Bush pulled him off the veteran committee. I have been loyal to him, also my wife has voted for him,

as he fixed a veteran issue for me and a social security issue.

I live in a 55-45 republican town and I can tell you everyone I know dems or republicans resented the influx of illegals.

So Biden had opportunity to say once the republicans killed the bill, I have a plan B I went back and took all Trumps executive orders copied them and made them stricter as we are not letting more in.

He then could have said I will re do the bill that did not pass  and make it tougher.

This would have spilt the moron idiot progressives off and splintered the Democractics ,but quite frankly their agenda with illegals is nuts.

I would say the biggest reason they lost was the influx of illegals everywhere.

Abortion was a smaller issue than that as abortions are more manageable while 20 illegals moving into a house on your block is not easy to fix by yourself.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Seems to be impossible posting new images here. Talk image is down.

So frustrating.
That is what I was experiencing yesterday around this time too. Mentioned this in my previous post (no JJG bot, I don't fall into this thread just got bored of the same old bs) so they must be updating database during this time frame.

So you have been studying?  and now you know what this thread is about?

You now know what is bitcoin?

Perhaps actions speak louder than mere words?

Seems to be two issues. Talkimg is often down and there is some type of proxy that btc talk uses that also fails.
I uploaded an AI eagle but it's not loading for me.
Try using Imgur. Back when I was more active I always had this image hosting service on hand.

Imgur is history.

No does not work no more, which is part of the reason that the forum has hundreds of thousands of historical image links (maybe even millions) without actual images.

At least my BTC holdings but also my stock portfolio spiked.

Stock portfolio?

What is that?

What comes first?

Commuting Ross Ulbricht's sentence or pardoning himself for multiple felonies?

Ross who?

Never selling

This is such an odd way to think about it, Bitcoin is open to everyone. Rich or poor, criminal or not, individual or biggest company, evil or good, ideology or not, and of course any country or political group. And it shouldn't be any other way.

This is not bitcoiners turning into the establishment. This is the establishment being conquered by Bitcoin and forced to submit to what is the most powerful force in history. Michael Saylor, Donald Trump, the power of Bitcoin defeats/converts them all eventually.

Once a man, twice a child!

The similarity in dress code and personality are alarming. Honestly, this is one prediction I'm eager not to see come to pass.
I'm glad that didn't come to pass. Hurray!

Lowering taxes, I'm not a US citizen or living in the US so doesn't care that much, although I don't understand how you can do that with trillion dollar deficits but oh well.
I guess he's going to do that lowering of taxes for the bottom income earners and not for all.
