CAUTION! Volatile days ahead:

Yeah that doesn’t read good I’m afraid. If I was a day trader I’d go short right now.

CAUTION! Volatile days ahead:

Correct

We just dropped to USD 6200 in about 45 minutes.

Bearstamp's weekly low was $6162. We're still higher than the weekly low.

I just pulled the trigger and bought another $1000 from $6500.  Grin

It was a risky decision if you think for short term but since I am here till 2021 It doesn't matter much...

In the long run it doesn't matter much. People were trying to buy the bottom in 2015, but it didn't make much difference if you bought in at $150, or $200, or $250. By 2021 the price could be hundreds of thousands of dollars, and $6500 coins will be a distant memory.

Yeah don’t worry about short term movements of a couple of hundred USD. Barely worth raising an eyebrow over.

1 BTC = $50,000+ in 2021 so whatever.

It’s still nothing and could be part of building base for a jump upwards (see MACD cross on the Daily).

Last week we were in the $6100s. This week we dipped down to the $6300s. Zooming out shows it's going upwards.

OT : Linus Torvalds, a stunning admission of his own flawed behavior when dealing with colleagues.

I admire the guy for the recognition and self-reflection, and the apologies. Took him a while though.

Tezos Mainnet Is Live

On June 30, the Tezos Foundation proposed a genesis block that became the seed of the Tezos network. For a time following the proposal, there was an expectation that, while fully operational, the network had a higher likelihood of experiencing unscheduled downtime along with maintenance and adjustments, and so we regarded the network as a […]

And down we go.

I won't be surprised if we find ourselves the mid 5ks by the weekend.

Please, capitulate. Stop checking the price every minute, will you?

I will check it for you, don't worry.  O:-)

OT : Hey guys, isn't it great that Ripple has a "product" launching soon?

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/17/ripple-hints-cryptocurrency-product-xrapid-will-go-live-soon.html

I mean, isn't that what we all want for our cryptocurrency? To be commercialized and commoditized for a centralized company's profit? /s  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

And of course there's this, lol:

Quote
Ripple, founded in 2012, owns about 60 billion of the 100 billion XRP tokens in circulation

Ripple really shouldn't be considered cryptocurrency.

Why even put it in the above list of 10 top coins, when there is no reason to consider it a cryptocurrency if it doesn't need a blockchain.
You could just make the whole system more efficient and make it a simple centralized payment processor.

So many projects nowadays forcefully put their data into blockchains when they don't need them.
Just makes the whole system slower for no reason.

Since they are already centralized, one of these days they will come up with an amazing new unique idea to replace a blockchain with a simple ledger for efficiency purposes. They will become just a normal bank and reach their full potential.
