My name is bitebits and I have $10k in my bank account.

That's a bit random, unless it is in connection with "My name is Robert Paulson"-from the "Fight club".
If not, then i should say that very few Americans have 10K in the bank.

60% live paycheck to paycheck:

A median checking account in US (called payment account or transaction account outside of US) balance was $2900 in 2022:

Years ago when I noticed my blood sugar starting to rise, I cut out all sugars and starchy foods like potatoes, rice, bread, cakes, cookies, candies, etc. I started using stevia in my morning coffee. It soon started bugging me though because it gave me a funny feeling in my mouth and made me drool. I reverted to a single spoonful of pure cane sugar in my coffee. Within a few months I'd lost 30lb and when I asked my doctor how my blood sugar was, she replied, "remarkably better, in fact better than mine".

I later did some research and found an article from the University of California medical school explaining the glycemic chemistry of fructose and how it affects our blood sugar levels, and hence diabetes. It seems fructose is really a poison but nature provides an antidote in the form of fiber. Unfortunately most commercially available fruit juices have had all the fiber filtered out of them. Almost all soft drinks except pure soda water contain a particularly unhealthy ingredient called high-fructose corn syrup or glucose-fructose without any fiber. Fructose is sweeter than sucrose so sleazy businesses can save a buck by using a smaller (and thus cheaper) amount of fructose in their products than they would with real cane or beet sugar. At least in Mexico they still use real cane sugar in their Coca-Cola.

I'm not at my principle residence where I have access to the article I'm citing but if I get a chance I'll post a link.

TLDR- Stevia's OK but real cane sucrose is better.

Yep...this explains it in detail:

https://www.eufic.org/en/whats-in-food/article/what-is-glucose-fructose-syrup-qa

Weight-wise, fructose is indeed 1.2-1.8 times sweeter than sucrose, albeit sucrose is basically glucose and fructose molecules bonded together by a chemical bond called glycosidic linkage. As the cited article describes, it is different in what is called glucose-fructose or fructose-glucose, which are made from starch. That glucose-fructose is being added almost everywhere (especially in processed foods), though, so it is hard to "escape" from it being consumed by almost everyone.

You have a valid solution to merge all his 24 posts into 1 after 24 hours. But who will do that? I don't think moderator will be willing to do that job on daily basis.

If we see that chart from human perspective then you and BADecker are the leader no matter how much buddy posts.

I can see merging consecutive posts, yet the merging of 24 posts is bullshit.

We need to see Buddy's posts every hour and on the hour and interspersed with the other main posts - otherwise it seems a waste of time to have a buddy to be merged or not within the stream.

We must thank Richy_T for this creation, and no one else has such a great little buddy bot like that.. .none that I know about.  Thank you buddy and thank you richy_T... thanks for coming back somewhat from your Big blocker nutjob - taking your marbles - rage quit. .and at least allowing us to enjoy the innovative informative hourly contributions of chartbuddy..

Buddy is no doubt a popular bot here, its evident from the discussion going on about his posts here.

There may be zero calories in Coke Zero but the artificial sweeteners in diet/zero drinks are more difficult for our body to process. It's advisable to take carbonated drinks as little as possible.

You can do mineral water that is carbonated, and that is o.k. It is the ones with sweeteners (or non-sweeteners or whatever extra flavorings) that are bad for you.

Carbonated mineral water is o.k for everyone.
I am just of the opinion that unrefined sugar consumption should be minimal. The body face difficulty while digesting excessive quantity of unrefined sugar.

Apparently, the rumor is that BlackRock already lined up $2bil from the existing bitcoin investors during wk1.
Analysts are stunned...no kidding.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/digital-assets/2024/01/06/insider-leak-reveals-huge-blackrock-bitcoin-etf-bazooka-will-blow-expectations-out-of-the-water-after-16-trillion-ethereum-xrp-solana-and-crypto-price-boom/

EDIT: some bank estimated before that btc has a 118X multiplier, which means for every $1 bil invested, the market cap goes up 118 bil. Not sure how they exactly calculated this, but if true, then it is about $236 bil added in a week, which is roughly $12K/btc....nice (that 10K candle might happn, if not on a daily, then on the weekly, perhaps).

I don't see how we aren't above 100k this year with that math.
