Buddy is damn close. under 40 posts

Interesting contest between bot and a human. Lead has gone up to 41 posts.

Credit to philipma1957 for marinating lead over a bot for such a long duration.

......

Seeing this list made me think that if the 3rd most prolific poster were to delete his account, I reckon the percentage of lunacy on this forum would go down ten fold.

Correct. Only top three have over 40k posts while forth one has post below 30k.

Speaking of movies.
I watched Dream Scenario starring Nicolas cage.
I thought it was pretty good for a recent production considering all the crap these days.
Made me laugh and weirded me out a bit too.
Gave me a bit of a black mirror vibe.
Worth a watch 7/10

BTC will do what it wants.

I'm not so sure we will get the expected scenarios:

ETF is approved - BTC go boom, it may drop I reckon.

ETF are all delayed - BTC go down, it may boom I reckon.

Or we just go sideways for a while.

Enjoy the roller coaster whatever happens and buy more if you can.

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)
I enjoyed Luc Besson's movies in the past, but the thrilling plot carrying you along was mostly replaced by bullet- and explosion -heavy SFX warfare CGI scenes, lately.
And there are soo many errors, no more fun to watch action movies when you go "wtf, did you see this?" every couple of minutes.

Leon still holds up. I watched it a year or two ago again. Still so good 30 years on.

Imo, the best one. Gary Oldman was really good in acting the badass.

(Jaws & Jurassic Park mostly, even a hint of Saving Private Ryan is in there).

Now that sounds really interesting. Maybe i'll check that one out.
Anectdote: Saving Private Ryan was the first movie in a long time which almost made me threw up (i was really stoned, though). Very impressive. Watched it again later, brilliant!

I had some good laughs watching "Babylon" (2022) a few days ago, which was lurking on my harddrive for a couple of months already.

Insidious: The Red Door (2023)

Don't even bother. 2 hours wasted.

3/10, and I'm being too generous to this boring, recycled, predictable, Hollywood horror flick.

Taking it off my rental list after what you wrote.

Hollywood has become pretty pathetic in many ways. Look at the director of the upcoming Star Wars Rey movie.
They are off their heads. Completely lost the plot to the point they think it's fun irritating the last remaining fans.

I think when things became too easy for them (unlimited money for the execs) things turned to shit mostly.
The original blockbuster movie makers laid foundations during difficult circumstances (Spielberg / Lucas / Cameron), often having to
compromise and make things work with a limited budget which made them more creative, instead of less.
Those days are gone.
There are still a few gems in amongst the sea of lazy attempts. I enjoyed Top Gun Maverick in 2022 and John Wick 4 and Gran Turismo in 2023.
If you want horror check out Pearl, which was decent (made by A24) or The Black Phone (by Universal which appears to be subscribing less to the woke agenda and thus I think will survive).

However, the most impressive movie for me recently has been Godzilla Minus One.
Delivered with so much passion and conviction. It doesn't even matter it's in Japanese.
Epic movie, great ideas with some superb shots.
A rare one that gets better the more often I watch it.
Damn perfect movie really.
It seems to have some of the best inspiration from Spielberg that I have seen that almost surpasses the originals
(Jaws & Jurassic Park mostly, even a hint of Saving Private Ryan is in there).

Great concept bro.
However, for now it will have to go on the back burner.
I recently got sucked into a band situation, so and now I gotta practice someone else's songs.

I'd wish to do some band stuff just for funzies, but the metalheads in my area are either way too young (below 25, not very disciplined and always drunk), or they are 50+ and already engaged in their bands for years or decades. My electronic drumkit doesn't help, it's fine for basic practice. Mesh drumheads also feel too "bouncy", and you can't compare that heavy, slow rubberized plastic plate(s) to a real hihat. You are pretty lost with that in any non-studio rehearsal situation (good headphone mixing needed at least), too. So i think i'll settle on instrumental guitar/bass tracks to play along. Not that there are many to find, but youtube has some gems to offer.

-----------

So Bitcoin to $200k via Quatar?
I don't know. I think they won't be so stupid to buy in a manner that they drive up the price. I also think they have a lot of experience from other markets, so it's unlikely they gonna go all in at once.

Qatar is looking to buy #Bitcoin.

Speculations are saying they want to allocate $500,000,000,000.

If this happens, this will easily catapult the price up to $200,000.
