The price is back up over
Thirty-five thousand.
Nice to sleep in late
Now we're back on standard time.
Daylight saving's gone.
The price we must pay
For that extra hour of sleep...
Night comes much too soon.
It's a lovely day,
Sunny here in Toronto
But a little cool.
It seems to soon for
Cool weather and shorter days.
Winter's coming on.
It will be nicer

But take this with a grain of salt, because i am very different in spending behaviour.
The fiat you turned some of your bitcoins into will only be useless if you spend it on useless things, if you spend the fiat on important things, it will be a good choice. The excess of profit from investment in bitcoins after it goes up can be turned to fiat and used to get other good investments like an investment in Real Estate etc. Real Estate also appreciates in value with time, so it is good for investment. By using some profit from your bitcoins to invest in Real Estate, you are diversifying your investment, and that is not something you will not want, or something useless.Why would i change my Bitcoin into useless fiat to buy me useless things i don't need?

To use stiffler’s i age that way is disgraceful.

All coins could go to zero. All my machines could be just scrap. I would still have made profit.
As I don’t go all in and take some profit from mining as I go.
So if everthing zeros out. My 100k drops to say 60k.
So a nocoiner is at zero.
at worst I am at +60k

Maybe some of the people here are 'collectors" with a small 'c', but as far as "The Collector" (in MCU sense)-maybe there are/were only two here: Loaded and proudhon.

Hmm, that's interesting.
Firstly I was going to put that MCU's Collector view as well but The Collector's character was far more determined in collection, I'm not sure who else here in WO holds such courage to collect Bitcoin as THE Collector did with what he liked.
EDIT: Personally, I think that giving bitcoin to children is sometimes ill advised because in most cases they would simply spend it as fast as possible while being taxed to the hilt.
Charities and direct donation to causes could be a better venue. Surely, children should get some, but by no means all, especially if bitcoin would have value in the millions or even 1 million.

Hmm, 1 million will not be a big deal. We can say if this cycle hits $120k the $1M will be straight forward target, hehe considering all the sentimental ups and downs. Several Million Ah you've triggered my greed which I was Suppressing about for a long period, these days I'm getting motivated to drop just a few bucks regularly in a second wallet to be a collector.
From taxation let's consider a very rare scenario, if Bitcoin gets the title of a global payment system, how can they impose taxes on the Bitcoiners, because even though they've regulated it under their policies Bitcoin is still a decentralized P2P system? Just Noob's asking still I would like to hear how in such regulation how they could be able to control Bitcoin. "KYC"? or Under regulatory generated address as our NID. or something else. How? Will the concept of self-custody be eliminated at that time?. etc etc....
Becasue for sure they won't surrender that easily in front of Civilians.

You seem to be in a fantasy land, and even you likely understand and appreciate what you are saying is not true.. so that is probably part of the reason no one could take you seriously, even if once in a while you might have some point that might have coincidentally ended up being correct.
