Someone was clearly very angry about health insurance and decided to shoot the big boss. Considering how much these bastards make off of other people's health, I find it a little strange that they walk the streets without protection.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
I think it's safe to say much of what has happened definitely relates to what the US wants.
UK is just a little sideshow in this regard, at most a barking lapdog. NATO is another lapdog that the US / Biden / neocons have used.
I don't have time for Putin dick sucker shills, if you hate the west so much why don't you go live under your boy Putin.
Cheesy
I'm more interested in what the people who we supposedly elect in the west are doing than assholes in Russia or North Korea.

But sure hate on those boogiemen all you like and hate anyone who tries to hold the corrupt western leaders to account.
If you don't hate the west so much why don't you go live under its boy fiat system rather than waste your time with Bitcoin?

Funny to see some of these political squabbles, and then to see bitcoin as being attached to either side of the squabble.

Bitcoin no give no shits, even though truly some politicians are more friendly to bitcoin and others more hostile.. yet we are going to have to take each and all of the politicians with a decently large grain of salt including some of the frequently lies that are spouted out on both sides.

...............So, i came to ask my shitcoiner collegue about his portfolio today. Overall, i was a little surprised because he wasn't acting and argueing like a memecoin degen, still he said to hold about 5-10% memecoins, just for the chance to substantially up his Ethereum stack, and he already did a few times. However, he came late to the game and said two very doubtful things: First, he said that it is too late for him to buy Bitcoin, because it's already priced so highly. Second thing was that he believes Ether to outperform Bitcoin (i guess we all know this flip-flop-flippedy-flop thingy-wingy fairy tale). I guess his net worth is in the range of 10-100k, SOMA.
Still, when i asked the "How much is a Bitcoin today?" in between, he replied it was almost 100k (EUR),as dry as a sherry, adding that he believed that BTC will break 100k (EUR) this year, followed by a bigger correction until march. Seems like he is following some influencers, because that is about the common sentiment of most U-tubers i came across lately. He also isn't deep in tech topics, but seems to follow a news-oriented approach of education about Crypto...
There, now i wrote it. Shame on me  Cheesy
It wasn't even half as funny as i thought it would be, he's very serious about what he's doing, but he's kinda doing it wrong anyway, IMO.

This seems like an unfair conversation. He is sharing his financial details, and apparently you aren't.

Yes, I know about OpSec, but still, it seems that we have some obligations with our fellow man.. especially if they may well seem open to learning, so even if we might not want to get into our details, we may well may not want to find out the details of others, even though I know that some folks really do want to tell details.

I know that in the real world, things can really get out of control, too... including any one hearing that you are into bitcoin, then all of a sudden they might consider that you have more coins than you have, which truly can devolve into problems, because word gets around, and frequently bad people can be friends of good people, and sometimes we might disclose some details of other people more than we reveal about ourselves, but then at the same time, which is similar that other people end up revealing about us, even parts that they don't even know.

I had strangers coming up to me in recent months, and all excited about my bitcoin, and surely they got their information from some relatives of mine, who got information from other relatives, and so I have to verify who these folks are, and they know me and I don't know them.

I will usually talk about it for a while with the strangers who come up and I find out who they are and then who they got the information from, and so then yeah, there can frequently be dilemmas regarding how much to say... Usually I turn some of the conversation back on them, to find out if they bought any bitcoin, bitcoin related products or even shitcoins, and maybe I will confirm or deny some of the stuff that they might say about what they heard about me, or maybe recharacterize the situation or suggest that my friend Mable does sometimes exaggerate or extrapolate some extra facts.  One guy recently was a relative, and I could not really tell how he knew some of my other relatives, and I had seen him in passing several times in the past few years, but never really talked with him, and then he came up to me and he asked how bitcoin was doing, and said wow.. to suggest the answer.. So yeah, I started out by saying yeah it is a pretty BIG wow and it was not over yet, and he had said that he had been too afraid to buy BTC directly, but he had quite a bit of GBTC for several years, and so he had gone through the conversion into the ETF, so yeah, he ends up giving me quite a few of his personal details and financial matters, and even talking about his trading of the GBTC as being one of its advantages over regular BTC.  So he was saying correct things and incorrect things, so ultimately, I was feeling some needs to try to help him out, but he caught me as a lot of my other relatives were already leaving the venue, so I did not really have enough time to go over too many things with him, and so I suggested that we exchange phone numbers so that we can meet up and continue our conversation, even though I know that he is going to likely be quite a lot of work, but I see it as a bit of an obligation, especially after I found out more details about  him and he is pretty closely related, but I did not really know exactly who he was, but then once he was placed in a particular part of the family, I already considered that he is most likely a person who is someone that I should help... and yeah, I am not sure about where the line is, since there are sometimes folks who are too far gone or maybe I don't trust them in certain ways, so I would not give them too many details or try to help them.. so I am not saying that I really know the answer either if there sometimes might be lopsidded conversations going on.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

Are you looking to follow this pattern 2021?

Do not judge price I mean follow the trend.

Don't think you got it all figured out just because you see a prior pattern.

Sure bitcoin tends to follow previous patterns, but each of them is different too, so we still cannot know if the top will come early or come late, which can make the pattern feel different even though when we are able to zoom out, it will show a lot of similar signs as the previous pattern.

[edited out]
Yeah mate, I'm good, but ya know, you always want more

Fair enough.

Meh, bit of downwards pressure at the moment. Seems we still have lots of weak hands willing to dump their bags before we hit $100,000 and surge into the most exciting part of the bull run. I’ll never understand the psychology of some people.

It’s Downcember so far but I still fully expect to see a green monthly candle to confirm Pumpcember 2024 becore moving into a life changing year for many of the WO here.

Strong hands boys.

I can see you getting worked up... which kind of reminds me of some of our members sometimes giving hints (and even sometimes saying how many BTC that they had), and you know over the years, we have continued to have so much UPside BTC performance that our BTC stash size is way BIGGER than what we even need.... so for example, if someone was close to 100 BTC or even exceeding 100BTC, but had a life style of a person who lived off less than $100k per year, then surely such a person has enough and/or more than enough BTC whether the BTC price goes shooting up or not...

There were even some members who were getting worried about whether something like 50 BTC was going to be enough.. .. and surely the answer is seeming to be clear that even 50 BTC is enough and perhaps even more than enough.

I am not suggesting to stop accumulating on dips and things like that, but when the BTC price is going up, any of the ones with more than enough BTC can shave small parts of their stash, and don't have to worry if they sold 0.1 BTC to 1 BTC at $60k or at $90k, or at $150k or at $250k... yet there is something still built into some of us that we would prefer to sell fewer BTC, especially when we already have decently good ideas that the sales price for that same shavenings is going to be better at the higher price levels.

So the equivalent guy who had double of more than enough would even be less worried, even though many of us might find ourselves with more BTC than we really need... there is some thanks in that with the floor moving up more than 50% and I really have my doubts about sub $65k ever being seen again... even though I would not bet on it, even though I would bet on sub $55k never being seen again.

@DragonvsLinux?  where are you? for the helping of the framing of these bets, that you wouldn't end up taking the opposite side of it, anyhow?  Hopefully, you did not learn your lesson about selling too many of your coins in the mid $30ks, since you said that you "Only" sold the excess... ..   hahahahahahaha.. whatever that means?  Does those coins that you sold in the mid-$30ks still feel like they were "excess," now?  #askingforafriend.

Oh god a downwards death spiral.
Sell sell sell

Or buy the dip and hodl
Your choice.

What a dilemma!!  For some, folks.

...Imagine my disappointment waking up to reality and all we have is the looming fear of WW3 and Bitcoin is still not 100k. I feel cheated.

Don't feel so bad.

$100k is just a number.

And in fact such number is not very far away from our current $96.4k number.

The word for trading cultist I have is gamblers. The gambler thinks that he has to trade 24/7, he exposes himself and his psyche to a constant barrage of live charts, news. He preferably trades on margin with high leverage. If he has any sort of trading plan, then that plan continuously drastically changes due to the emotions when exposed to all this. As long as it goes well, they think they've figured it all out, but of course they will never decrease the risk they take and thus, even if they actually do have it figured out, they will get wiped out by tail risk alone.

I've seen many of them come and go. They last a few months typically.

Does anyone remember LowPro?

Sure do, here is a post about his trading
