Now we are in a thread where we can be a little off topic I thought I would mention I have come home from work

if you're still working you've been failing as a legendary imo. and that vomit thing is not gentleman even. You should have a platoon of wet nannies serving yourself and the kids now.
Because being breastfed is better than a cigar.

I registered here four hours before rj. He's such a noob.

Ha ha, I am still a noob even now. I will fully admit this.

I have no argument with your statement.

Whoa whoa whoa.

Failing?  My first bitcoin was bought between $100-$200 and the most I have ever spent on one bitcoin is $400. I accumulated some coins during the bear market after gox. To not work I would have have had to invested around $50k at this time. (Which I did not unfortunately)

I wish I was earlier in to bitcoin believe me.

Anyway, I feel I am in a decent position right now.

Legendary is quite a big window of time. 2014 is very different to 2011 in Bitcoin terms.

I should be legendary by now, just sometimes don't feel like saying anything  Lips sealed

Children are not good investment.

That depends how you look at it.

My mother once said that children are an investment and grandchildren are the dividends.

For some reason I thought you had no children, Jimbo.

Don't ask me why, just a thought!

Well who are.you going to leave your Bitcoin stash to then?  A true Hodler would have a child.

Good point. But in my case I have already established who my stash is going to and how to do it. They well deserve it. If they don't outlive me, or the stash grow much bigger than it is now (it is certainly a possibility I expect) maybe I will add some charity or whatever. My net worth besides cryptocurrencies is probably going to my parents (which don't really need it AT ALL) unless I decide to change that sometime in the future.

Have I had any children, yes, it would have all gone to them without doubt. But I don't, and even if I could be "in time" and have the means for it..... I am too greedy with my own time (I can't increase my "time" stash no matter what) left and I want it all for me. So, no childrens for me.

So whats caused all the spam in the mempool?- no prizes.

The spam outputs, generated by the first four waves of fan-out transactions, had been starting to move since autumn of 2015 — sort of. Whoever controlled these addresses had been broadcasting transactions to spend these outputs over the network. However, for a long time, miners did not include these “spam broadcasts” in their blocks; the transactions were ignored.

Up until the second half of 2016, that is. At a very specific point in time, a group of seven mining pools started to suddenly accept these spam broadcasts and include them in the blocks they mined: 1-Hash, Antpool, BitClub Network, BTC.com, HaoBTC, KanoCKPool and ViaBTC.

Wall Street analyst unleashes on Jamie Dimon and everyone else calling bitcoin a fraud
http://www.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-price-bubble-tulips-2017-9

Quote from: Viktor Shvets, Macquarie's head of global and Asia-Pacific equity strategy
"If one describes Bitcoin as a fraud, how would one describe a ‘financial cloud’ that is at least 4x-5x larger than the underlying economies? It is unlikely that US$400 trillion+ of financial instruments circulating around the world would ever be repaid and most are now backed by assets that are already either worthless or are diminishing in value. How does one describe rates and the yield curve that are either directly determined by CBs (BoJ or PBoC) or heavily influenced by them (Fed or ECB)? People living in glass houses should not throw stones."

Amazing news people!

Option the third (there is always a third option, and you should usually take it): make all the money so the woman does all the housework.

That's what I'm trying to do. However, a bunch of things around the house still need to be done by man, either traditionally, or because she can't do it. I do all the electrical and carpentry work and fix random things that get broken. She does the dishes, (I do them sometimes) but I usually throw the trash out. And of course, I set up the wifi network at home, so she can do all the insta-facebook-twitter-youtube, while I do all the bitcoins (and altcoins.)

Now we are in a thread where we can be a little off topic I thought I would mention I have come home from work and had a nice shower, put some clean clothes on and feel good.

My wife says ok, one has the kids and the other does dinner. Of course I opted for kids, I hate doing dinner. I then ask my 2 yr old to go into the living room and I then pick up my 1 month old baby boy.....

He then projectile vomits 3 times all over me. We are both totally covered and I mean absolutely drenched.

I had 2 options and I should have chosen dinner.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a nice little correction after yesterday's decent rise... currently $4165USD/$5195 (Bitcoinaverage). That's still up on the day.

AltCash is hanging in, also up a smidgen at $459USD/$572CAD (Coinmarketcap). Back in #3 ahead of Rip(off)ple.

Let's keep this uptrend smooth, steady and not too fast, but not too slow either.

In my country parents must take care of their children until they're 25yo, by law. And children must take care of their parents forever.

If I look at my grandparents on both sides, it worked out as intended, both couples lived in houses bought by their children and were taken care of till their death.

I don't have children yet but I believe they don't cost that much. If you spend a lot of money raising kids you're really spending a lot of money on yourself, which is fine of course, just don't accuse the kids.

Yeah, its more than just economics. I mean, if all your kids are bummers and failures (which means you are one too), then that really sucks. Even the poorest countries with the poorest peoples, come out with great kids.

Early in life, one of the better investments is in yourself. Get educated. (Debatable whether that's from a formal school or not). But at least learn how to live a good life. So many sites and books out there that give lists or steps of things that you should know how to do, or be able to do. Some examples:

A man ought to be able “to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.”

Some other things more "modern" would include:

1. Know how to change a flat tire, even if you don't do it yourself.
2. Learn how to dress up.
3. Know CPR.
4. Fix things in the house.
5. Swim
6. Run fast
7. Lift heavy stuff. (Barbells!)
8. Know one or two (or more) martial arts, don't need to be a black belt (just remember some Asian countries "force" all their kids to learn to this level by highschool.)
9. Get a degree if you can. Whether you use it or not is another matter.
10. Load, shoot, and clean a firearm.

I'm sure there's entire webpages full of these things. Go make your own.
