"Need" is a pretty strong assertion. i am not going to get overly excited in either direction, even though ongoingly my personal preference is for UP.

Wow. I did not realize that we had never hit $42k (at least not while $42k was still in the top 100 of days. I was assuming that we hit all of the $1k price ranges prior to $73k, but I guess we had never hit $42k as far as the historical charts in that thread seem to show... even though surely if we look at timelines outside of the top 100 day charts, I am pretty sure there would have had been good chances that $42k would have had been hit somewhere between May 19, 2021 and mid-February 2024 when we were sometimes bouncing into the $40ks, yet the 40ks were clearly below the top 100 trade weighted days being posted in the other refered to thread..
