Yeah us with half a brain know this BUT.... I was more or less aiming this at the normal joes in the world. To walk in cold right now and understand the step you need to take to secure you money is confusing. I was confused when I first got into crypto, so that would not be anything different for others.

Of course I got in well before the loss of Gox, and recently there has been way to many losses of thousands of coins that would put up any red flags to an investor who is jumping in.

Hopefully we will get more of the responsible exchanges like Bitstamp and Coinbase. The "happy go lucky" exchanges are a dying breed. You even have companies like ANX who buy wrecked exchanges and fix them up to conform to stricter standards. We are well on our way to a much safer environment.
